Go for that then I will figure out a healer of some sort!

-Posted with Wayfinder

I can work on a healer type. I just knew both you and Ritter ton were working arcane types so I figured I would cover front line. If yall want front line I can cover healing. Either way is cool with me.

Grr it seems Wayfinder won't allow my main profile to post here..

^^ Likewise. I generally take something from every gm. Sometimes it's how not to do something, but generally it's how TO do something. It's all fun, but I learn too.

Nauseated 3/4 rounds

Still heaving and nauseated, Adowyn holds where she is. She wants desperately to start shooting arrows at this thing, but is unable to stop being sick long enough to bring her bow to bear.

Leryn moves forward along the ledge, yacking his wolfy little stomach over the edge of the crevasse. He manages to close the distance, but is unable to do much more.

No worries!

Leryn is Adowyns pet and was included in the above post.

Adowyn will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Leryn Will: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Leryn and Adowyn both begin loosing their lunches as the mental intrusions of the beast turns violent. As sick as they are, though, Adown keeps hold of her bow, and Leryn attemps to move around the room.

Know Nature: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
A. Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
L. Will: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20

wow.. Leryn made out, but Adowyn sucked on this one!

Repulsed by the thing in front of her, Adowyn feels her mind roil with the things intrusions, and yet still has no clue as to what lies in front of them.

In that case, we will take the Eye of Gorumn.
As they ascend the mountain and the visions take hold, Adowyn looks down at her dear friend and almost shrieks as she sees the wolf deteriorate into a living zombie. She shakes her head and refuses to believe what her eyes are telling her, running her fingers through the wolfs thick fur to remind herself of reality. Reaching the mouth of the cave, she stops and pulls out a jar of pigment, painting her face in the tribal designs taught to her by her clan. Finishing this, she inscribes upon her chest the sign that they discovered in the monolith. Her own warpaint finished, she does the same with Leryn, running her pigment coated hand through his fur to make the same symbols stand out on his snowy hide. She ends by once more duplicating the symbol from the monolith on Leryn's forehead, in the short fur above his eyes. Standing, she wipes off her hands and draws her bow. "Let this be the last test, and may we all vanquish this enemy with prejudice." she growls, remembering the psychic suggestions for eating her partner and friend.

Strength: 1d20 ⇒ 4

Am I allowed to retcon casting feather step, securing the rope, etc? Or are we just rolling with it?

Does the professor have any rope? I know that Adowyn doesn't. Damn pregens and their woefully inadequate supplies!

However, I do have the spell Feather step. If there is a rope available, I can cast the spell, take it across and secure it, and we should be good.

My update to Sillith is correct, all chronicles to him please.

No knowledge Geo, and I vote for the ointment.

Adowyn and Leryn hike up the rough terrain with little problem, and approach the Professor showing little outward signs of exertion from the steep climb. "Looks like we are finally at the end of all of this running around! Do you have any idea yet what we may be facing?"

Keep up the pressure. I don't know how many hit points this thing has, but we have got to be getting close, and we have already taken away its best weapon by staying out of reach. I think we have a pretty good chance!

I didn't see Adowyns attacks in your recap. Were they included?

If Oloch fails his save:
Sense Motive: 1d20 ⇒ 8Adowyn sees nothing wrong with the half-orc just yet

Adowyn keeps up her barrage of arrows, growling at this unnatural monstrosity.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14

Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 4
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 5

Sorry to hear about that GM.. It really sucks when people take the fun out of this, and from experience, I know how much of a stress free diversion you need over there. I hope that things work out for you.

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13

Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 6
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8

Adowyn sends two more arrows at the disgusting thing that has inhabited the body before her. "Keep it up! Does anyone have any Fire?? she calls out.

Bump

K. Nature: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
"BY THE GODS!!" Adowyn exclaims as she lays eyes on the horrid creature before her. "Its a Mind Slave Mold!! Do not go near it! I can infect you and take you over if you touch it or it touches you, and it can shoot spores some 20 feet! Its technically a PLANT, so its immune to anything that effects its mind, and is immune to cold."

Turning, Adowyn quickly sends Leryn back out of the greenhouse. The wolf resists, but finally complies with a whine of worry.

Adowyn moves forward, drawing her bow out and sending an arrow at the mold.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Damage?: 1d8 ⇒ 1

Adowyn sees that her chronicles of their adventures thus far is not exactly a page turner, so she thinks hard before answering again.
Her brows furrowed, she begins talking again after a few moments.
"Well, as for the wider world, I know very little outside of my natural home. Did you know about the Worldwound? It is a great scar and a vile putrification of the natural order of things. It has caused many thousands of deaths, and demons pour fourth in unending streams. Ever since the Wound opened, it has greatly upset the balance and tossed all sorts of things off. The weather patterns are off all over the world, and I begin to doubt that the earth will ever heal. Some even say that darker things are coming that will herald the end of the world!"

The only thing I have is K. Nature. Sooo... has anything happened in the natural world that might pertain?
K. Nature: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

Diplomacy: 1d20 ⇒ 9
"Well, I do not know so much about the wider world, but I can tell you about our adventures these last few weeks.." Adowyn addresses the book.
"You see, we are working with a researcher and we have had the most adventurous time! First there was a haunted tavern and a possessed Harrow deck, then we had to capture ectoplasmic residue from some weird lightning. After that,....."
Adowyn will recap our last few adventures, and explain what she knows of the events surrounding them.

Adowyn peers into the room at the floating items and then looks about at the others. "This is just absurd!" she comments.
Turning her attention back to the room, she peers closely around, looking for the glowing purple vial.
Taking 20 for 26

Leryn whines as the contents of the office float past the door, and she calms him. "Don't worry. I don't think that you will be going in there!"

Adowyn whistles at Leryn, and into battle he goes.
Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Damage ??: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Trip ??: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

Adowyn sends two arrows off at the Morlock
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Aid Another: 1d20 ⇒ 2
Adowyn runs over and tries to help seal the tunnel, but really is just in the way.

Adowyn draws an arrow back and levels it at the creature. "What is down there and coming up?" she demands
Intimidate: 1d20 ⇒ 4

checking in and still here.

THAT, I have found, is the only drawback to GD proceedings. Most of the year, I keep my numbers down to maybe 2 or 3 games played and maybe 2 tables of the same game that I am running.. During GD, that goes up to 6 or 8 games played.

Good luck and be safe.

this site is driving me nuts today!!!

At Oloch's warning, Adowyn draws an arrow, keeping it nocked and whistles for Leryn to be on alert.

Sense Motive: 1d20 ⇒ 10
"Well, what have we here? Do you speak any other languages?"
Adowyn addresses the thing.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Looking for any threats or anomalies in the room.

lol!

You aren't the only one. I think that the site has been down more in the last two weeks than in the last year!

Leryn takes another bite at his centipede and manages a much larger chunk this time, ass he tries to flip the beast over.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Grapple: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

Adowyn will hold back, bow ready in case anything else shows up.

Sorry guys, rough couple of days again.

Adowyn steps forward and lines up a clear shot on the second centipede
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Meanwhile, Leryn charges forward at the first centipede biting at it and trying to roll it over.
Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Trip: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Survival: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

Adowyn is completely oblivious to the tracks, and needs them pointed out to her before she recognizes them. Once she sees them, though she draws her bow. "this is not good. Everyone be aware.."

Thank you for running this! I appreciate it

As they march along, Adowyn and Leryn keep their guards up by scouting ahead of and around the party as they move.

Adowyn Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Leryn Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Leryn Stealth: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Leryn is stationed for a possible surprise attack, should an opening present itself, and Adowyn is casting..

With the muck up with acting before initiative, does the elemental pop out now, or on my next turn?

"LIES!! ATTACK THEM!!!" Adowyn calls out before she begins chanting.

Casting Summon Natures Ally II, Small Fire Elemental. Will appear next round.

Gather information: 1d20 ⇒ 6
The dice are not friendly today..

Adowyn tries to help gather information, but just ends up annoying people.

"Well, this just keeps getting more and more weird. Some ghosts attacking, while others are giving us things.. Where do we go from here?" Adowyn asks.

Perception: 1d20 + 9 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 9 + 3 = 31
Looking the new arrivals over, Adowyn could swear that she just fished these two out of the holy water. Thinking hard, she casts detect magic, trying to see if this is an illusion or a construct or some other foul magic.

"You two seem awfully healthy for having just been fished out of the holy water. What are you?"

Adowyn will not "overtly" threaten them just yet, and whistles for Leryn to be ready for more action. While waiting for a response, she leans over to Amiri and begins tapping her with a wand.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
25 pts to Amiri

She chucks the now useless wand over her shoulder and grips her bow, ready for action.

Adowyn levels another couple of shots at the Demon, and turns him into a pincushion.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (18) + 7 + 1 + 1 - 1 = 26
Attack: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (15) + 7 + 1 + 1 - 1 = 23

Damage: 2d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (4, 6) + 1 + 2 = 13
Damage: 2d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (3, 6) + 1 + 2 = 12

Not sure how high the demon is, so if this is not applicable, treat it as a held action for the next time the thing swoops in.
Leryn continues his attack.

Bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Adowyn steps forward and pops a few arrows at the thing in the next room
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Confirm: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15

Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8
Crit??: 2d8 ⇒ (1, 6) = 7

After Adowyn fires her arrows, she whistles for Leryn to charge in
Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Trip: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
The wolf charges in, landing a good bite, but is unable to completely use the thing for a chew toy.

I forgot to add in some damage on the crit. Adowyn has the "Killer" trait that adds 3 points damage to any critical hit with her bow.

Leryn lunges forward and jumps at the demon
Bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Trip: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

Adowyn leand out from her cover and sends her blessed arrows in at the devil.
Not sure what the bonus for that was other than the cool lights, so GM will have to add whatever bonus that holy water granted!
Attack: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (20) + 7 + 1 + 1 - 1 = 28 +1 PBS, +1 Falcon, -1 Deadly Aim
Confirm: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (16) + 7 + 1 + 1 - 1 = 24

Damage: 2d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (2, 4) + 1 + 2 = 9
Crit: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 2, 6) = 17

Attack: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 7 + 1 + 1 - 2 = 22
Damage: 2d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (3, 6) + 1 + 2 = 12

Wasn't attacking anything yet. I moved and cast a spell (standard action), so I don't get to attack until next round. I was just listing my current buffs there so that I can keep that straight when I do get to attack.

Leryn and Adowyn dash into the room. Adowyn seeks cover near a pillar and draws her bow as she once again begins chanting to her gods.
"Great huntress, I beseech you to lend your might to my bow. Send my arrows true, and may they hit with your own strength!"
Casting Gravity Bow

Current buffs: +3 Perception, +1 ranged attacks, crit threat 19-20, 2d6 dmg

Reflex: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29

Adowyn manages to dive out of the way, but has to stomp out a few embers.

Sorry guys, school is kicking my ass this week

"Something is happening! I just saw a vision of Lady Illirigarde in the table!" Adowyn calls out. She sends Leryn into the room to spread out and draws her bow, ready for whatever may come

Sorry guys, School is kicking my ass this week.

Leryn whines and yips as he is unable to get to the front line and mix it up with the over sized lambchop

Adowyn begins chanting to the gods of nature, beseeching them to grant her keen eyesight

Casting Aspect of the Falcon, For 4 Minutes= +3 Perception, +1 ranged attacks, crit threat 19-20
