Now that everyone has checked in, can I please have the following information from everyone. I will use this info for Chronicle Sheets and also reporting, so please put the info you want to see on your sheets for the character you will be assigning Credit. My understanding is that as of right now, you do need to apply credit to a brand new character. Please refrain from posting anything else here just yet until I have it from everyone.
Player Name/Nickname - Character Name - PFS # - Faction
Assuming we finish them all, you will be walking away with 1XP, 2PP, 500GP, and an assortment of Boons.

This would be the alias I'll use for the Medium and the Fane of Fangs character.
My understanding was that the chronicle could be applied to any 1st level, but that once you apply a chronicle after the Phantom Phenomena one, you can't check off any more boxes, like Silverhex. If I'm mistaken, please let me know, as I'm running this currently and will again during the gameday, and should warn my players.
Player: Dan H/GM Lari

PFS#: 120937-15
Faction: Grand Lodge

Pregen - PatheticWretch |

Player: PatheticWretch
Character: Valkyrja

To be clear, do you want us to post here for BOTH Fane of Fangs and Phantom Phenomena? Or just Phantom Phenomena?

Hey everyone. I have some bad news. I am in the military, and I just found out today that from tomorrow night until the 22nd (at latest), I am going to be going out to the field for training.
I do not know if I will have any internet (on my phone). So, sadly, as of right now, I am going to have to cancel the Fane of Fangs game. I'm sorry. I just found out today. If people are interested, I can still run it afterwards.
Unfortunately, this also means that (worst case) I may also be a little bit late beginning Phantom Phenomena, but I WILL be running it.
I honestly do not know if I will have any internet access after tomorrow night until the 22nd when I get back, (if not earlier), but if I do, I will do my best to check in and update things here.
I apologize for the sudden warning, but I just found out today.

No worries ... stay safe and we can play when you get back ...

If people are interested, I can still run it afterwards.
Good luck and stay safe. Always appreciate the scenarios you run. If you happen to run it afterwards, I'd be interested even with a delay. If not, no worries.

Turns out I didn't go, so everything can proceed as normal. I don't think we have enough time to do Fane of Fangs at this point, (I've never run it, so I honestly do not know), and as I said, I have no issue running it afterwards.
But, at this point we are back on track to begin on the 19th.
Sometime today, I'll go through all the characters and take a look to see who is missing what before we can begin.

I can't give you a character number, because I don't know whether the target character will be level 1 when this chronicle lands. Could be -04 or -05**. Both are Grand Lodge. When we get close to reporting time, let me know and I'll cement the character number.
** I think I'd prefer -05, but he's just started all of Emerald Spire, so I'll want to run it past that GM. If he's even still alive by then.

@All: One thing I've noticed when running pregens through aliases is that it helps to put the character's name in the statblock (since the names on the forum posts don't match).
For example, Crower (Henrik/So Many Pregens) has already done this.
Help a guy out? I think it helps with the role-play.

![]() |

Do you mean me (Erasmus the Medium) or PatheticWretch (Enora the Arcanist)? If it's me could you be more specific about what you need?
If I click on either So Many Pregens's page for Crowe or Iconic - PW's page for Enora, there is no actual character stats there. Iconic PW's does have some basic stuff in the Race & Class Level section, but no other info, just in case I need it.

![]() |

Ok, not a problem.
I will be making the initial post here in an our or so.

![]() |

Looks good. You never know when you might need to do a quick check. I've run a few games where there was a vital piece of info I put in under a skill check only to find out after no one rolled and the game stalled a bit no one could make the check untrained.

I just wanted to explain a few things in case there is any confusion here.
A Haunt is an Undead creature that acts very similar to a Trap. But, the way it works is that it is activated as son as someone comes within a certain range, (in this case 40ft), and automatically goes off on Init Count 10 of the Surprise Round. So, only those whose Init is higher than 10 can actually even act, but because it is a Surprise Round, they can only take a single Move or a single Standard Action.
Basically, those than can act can attempt to damage the Haunt, (in this case it is a massive 40ft Radius area of from the Red Lightning Bolt that is permeating the land and forest. As an Undead Creature, it is weak against Positive Energy, (as well as something else in one of the spoilers). A character can utilize these things against "the forest" to harm the Haunt, but as soon as Init 10 comes around, it does something. Each Haunt basically has a single Spell Affect that simply happens, (if it isn't destroyed by then).
But, one of the major problems is that generally only Clerics, (or other classes that can Channel Energy), are the only ones that can actually do anything. Which makes a certain degree of sense, as Clerics and other holy characters SHOULD be very strong against Haunts. But, well, there is a reason there is the phrase "Cleric Init", and as we can see, the Cleric doesn't even get to act. Otherwise, only those that can target an area with a spell, or already have an Alchemist's Fire, Holy Water, etc. . . draw can actually use it.

![]() |

Basically it comes down to those that are able to act get one shot to do so before Init Count 10, where the Haunt then acts automatically .

Crowe (or rather, the player) has dropped off the face of the earth. He was GMing a couple of games too (maybe you saw the WBG games @ Flaxseed seeking a new GM a week or so ago?), and disappeared from there as well, with no notice. As mentioned, it's been about a month since any post from any of his aliases. No one seems to know what happened to him.

Pregen - PatheticWretch |

I will be taking a Fall Break trip with my family to Grand Canyon and Mesa Verde.
I'll likely not be able to post from Thursday to Sunday, so feel free to bot me if I'm up!

Yet Another Pregen |

Okay, so I did some research.
Kellid is an ethnicity that describes barbarians from the north of Avistan. Kellids typically speak Hallit. (source)
Kelish is the language of the Great Padishah Empire of Kelesh far to the east of the Inner Sea. It's common in many places, but the one that resonates with me is Qadira. (Also Katapesh.)
Confusingly, the Kaleshi people (ethnicity), are dominant in modern Qadira (where they speak Kelish), and Osirion (where they speak Osiriani).
Even more confusing is that Paizo used this similar sounding names for a language and ethnicity that have nothing to do with each other and are on opposite ends of the continent. Woe is we.

Just wanted to give the final heads up. I'll be leaving for deployment now in under 24 hours. I'm going to try to get another post in before hand, but between the weather and final packing, I may not be able to. I expect to be away for 1-7 days.
I had hoped to get through this one so that I could leave everyone on a sort of in between spot, and if I can before flying out, I will. However, something that I've found helped a few other players pass the time in the past was a sort of player run sparring matches. All for fun. It could be something like the party breaks up into even teams and just goes at it, or pairs off. There could be established conditions. Again, it's just to help pass the time, not something that actually happens in game. No one dies it uses resources for the game.

Hey all. I've been trying to get back to all of my games, and it's a slow process. I have arrived at my final destination, and been in processing and getting to know the place and everything. Right now, I do not have internet, and it will be a little while before I can afford to get that set up, so am using the free internet on base. Unfortunately, that means I have to walk a ways to get there, and I am limited in when I can use it. But, I am trying to get things back rolling. Please, check in to make sure everyone is still here and I'll have another post up soon. I'm aiming for today, but it may be tomorrow, (and if you are in the US, that might actually be the same day).

So, we are getting pretty dang close to the end. And one of the cool things about this is I found out that everyone actually gets 2 chances for Boons, not just on.
Adowyn: 1d20 ⇒ 2
Enora: 1d20 ⇒ 19
Erasmus: 1d20 ⇒ 9
Kyra: 1d20 ⇒ 14
Oloch: 1d20 ⇒ 3
Yoon: 1d20 ⇒ 13
DM: 1d20 ⇒ 16
Adowyn: 1d20 ⇒ 8
Enora: 1d20 ⇒ 10
Erasmus: 1d20 ⇒ 8
->->Kyra: 1d20 ⇒ 20 <-<- Hope this makes up for all those crappy Init rolls.
Oloch: 1d20 ⇒ 11
Yoon: 1d20 ⇒ 14
DM: 1d20 ⇒ 13
Holy crap. The last two Game Days, practically every single table I ran someone won something. This year, this is the very first time someone got a Boon, and only 1 out of 14 rolls.
Sorry everyone that didn't win. If it makes you feel any better, I have not either, for any game I've played or DM'd.
Lastly, can I get everyone to take a look at their info (up above) and make sure that everything is correct. Kyra/EvilMinion, I need your email asap for the Boon. Once I get that, I'll send an email showing what the choices are.
Lastly, did everyone want to apply all six parts to a single character? I assume so, but, just wanted to make sure.
