Recognizing the haunt for what it is, Kyra will channel to harm. Hopeing to catch not only the spectral creatures, but any lingering haunt effects, in the area.

It works mechanically exactly like the Entangle Spell, but it's reflavored to be a bit spooky appearing. But, essentially anyone that failed the save is caught. Everyone else, as long as they remain in the area, needs to make another save each round until they get out of the area.

Unhindered by the Haunt's attempts to hold him down, Oloch springs forward and cut's the closest "specter" down. His heavy blade cutting through it like it where water, and even leaving a bit of "goo" on the blade. The "specter" screams in agony, then explodes in a shower of similar ectoplasmic goo.
Following shortly afterwards, Adowyn draws her both and knocks an arrow, sending it quickly at the nearest spook. It pierces it's non-ghostly body almost as if it where made of some sort of pudding, but it doesn't seem to deal a great deal of damage. Leryn, too is able to avoid being caught, and rushes forward, leaping into the air to try to bite at the floating specter, but fails to catch it.
The same specter in turn whirls around, then quickly dives to attack Leryn, reaching out a necrotic hand at the wolf. It connects, but rather than slamming it's undead hand into the wolf, for a few moments, it begins to ooze some of it's own fluid-like form into him, both draining Leryn's life force, and also infecting him with some sort of unclean curse.

Sorry, lost track of games.
Yoon's fiery blast outright destroys one of the specters as Erasmus moves to and stabs at the other. It seems to fade from view, but just to be certain, and possibly to cleans the area, Kyra unleashes a blast of pure positive spiritual energy. Shortly afterwards, the skeletal arms all about you begin to fade away, allowing the roots and branches to slough off of you and fall to the ground.
For a moment, you all get a strange sense of surprise, but it is not your own emotion. It almost feels like you are outside your body and looking in, but it isn't your body, nor is it your feelings. It all happens within your mind, and right afterwards, your mind is assaulted by unclear visions. A collage of confusing images that include a windswept mountain pass, a cave filled with an eerie green glow, and a pulsing fungal creature brooding in the dark. These visions serve as clues about the source of the trouble. Dr. Quolorum sees them too, but isn't sure just what to think, and mentions that once he knows more, he might be able to express a more informed opinion on the matter.
Having cleared out the area of any immediate threats, Dr. Quolorum happily runs forward and examines the fresh lightning strike. After many inquisitive exclamations, he harvests two vials of ectoplasm into his newly developed storage containers. He thanks the you for your hard work and explains that he will study these samples while they complete the remainder of their tasks.
Another Quest down.
- - - The Manor - - -
After the journey to the hilltop, Dr. Quolorum was able to collect a rather large variety of this strange glowing fluid he calls ectoplasm. With much work to do, he sends you back to rest, but it doesn't last long. a Mere few days later he summons you once more, or rather, he sends a missive, calling you back to action.
I have acquired permission to send a team into the haunted and abandoned Illirigarde manor. I hope you can gain insight into Lady Illirigarde’s research, as she too took an interest in the psychic phenomena plaguing this stretch of the Hungry Mountains. My findings suggest that she was close to a breakthrough when she mysteriously disappeared several decades ago. It is extremely important you recover any tools that will help as we pick up where she left off, especially something her writings call “etheric compasses.”
-
Also, my design for an ectoplasmic container is ready for field tests. These boxes will hold and preserve ethereal material and may be useful to you in this endeavor. I am almost certain they are risk-free.
Dr. Quolorum
Along with the letter, you (as a group) also receive a small silver key, and two crates. Within, you see some sort of strange box constructed out of crystalline panels, and have absolutely no idea what to do with them. They look very expensive, but also incredibly fragile.

To be honest, most of it you already know based off of prior play. Feel free to read it if you like.
Dusty sheets cover the furniture of the front hall—all save a large portrait flanked by unlit candelabras above the fireplace directly opposite the front door. The room smells musty and old.
The painting has been slashed and Lady Illirigarde’s face is now unrecognizable. Despite the damage, the subject’s strong widow’s peak is
still visible. The plaque below the painting reads “Lady Rena Illirigarde,” but something tried ineffectively to scratch that out and instead carved “Hate” in many places on the wooden frame.
As you begin inspect the room and painting, the unlit candles ignite one by one, illuminating the defaced portrait. A moment later, there is a scratching sound to the east through the door.
Stepping towards that door, you see that there seems to be light coming from the room beyond as well, though it wasn't there a moment ago.
Please place yourselves on the map where you would like to start off. Anyone going to open the door?

I think it might be an issue with Google Slides. I still see everyone outside in a line, but for some reason Kyra's and Oloch's pictures are not loading, just small X's.
Also, it doesn't really matter too much here, but just to explain, there is a small balcony that overlooks the center room and also leads to other areas upstairs. This map is actually a 2 part map, the upstairs and downstairs, (and is the location of the single best PFS fight I've ever had in EotT). But, for the sake of argument, you can go underneath the balcony and into the other rooms, which are not too clearly shown. Just assume the doors are there towards the middle of the wall.

Am a little unclear how we got so separated? We were in the room with the card table, then Oloch and Yoon left before this haunt triggered?
Would a 30' radius channel reach both areas? If so would channel here and try to get both, otherwise will go with a cure light wounds, to try to disperse the haunt before it manifests
