Male Half-Orc

Aak, moves up and takes a swing with his weapon.

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 271d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
crit?: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 181d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Thank you Mal'c. I find these tunnels quite interesting. Any idea who or what may have made these?

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Ready

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak feels at home on the dark, he looks to the cave entrance, So, who wants to cleanse the temple and find out what we can use to battle those damned crazy bastards?

I apparently didn't plan very well, as I am unable to cast 3rd level spells....D'OH

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Ask sees the creature run, and let's it.

So, did we pass the test I wonder?

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak will grab the unique gem.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak will pick up a gem.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak, awaits fit the creature to get closer then tries to break it into pieces.

star, shield: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 61d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Ask will move towards the glowing crystal unless otherwise stopped by creature or plants.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak looks on as the vibes seem to block the others' escape, including his own.

Hmph, this is unfortunate. So, now what?

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Off work hours. Either asleep or at work. Training for auditor and life in general has been crazy. Following along as best I can.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak, able to shield himself from the cloud, steps up an attacks the creature, just trying to subdue the strange gourd.

nonlethal penalty at spore gourd: 1d20 + 7 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 7 + 1 - 4 = 81d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Ask will cast bless from the prayer bead, then ready himself if the creature proves hostile.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Lets say 15' within the rustling.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Be on high alert everyone. Although we are to "find" something, it doesn't mean there will not be barriers to overcome.

I ready my shield and morningstar in the event that the vine thing is hostile. I take point, but do not go near the "thing".

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak gives Mal'c a firm handshake, the turns to the guardian of the garden.

What are the rules or parameters of said hunt? How many have tried and failed your test?

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak again tries to deal some damage to the vines that keep trying to hit him.

morningstar, shield: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 131d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
dam: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 81d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak tries his best, to handle the vines trying to grab him.

morningstar: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 201d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak, after rolling his ankle on the moss, gets up and cast bless from his stone.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak will fold his new cloth and stashes it in his pack. He looks around, the same nods to Voz. I am ready when the others are friend

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak looks to the figure. At first he has no clue, but once his eyes focus from the momentary blinding torch light, he sees it is Voz.

Voz, is up ahead. He was a man who taught one of my good friends Silx. Voz, prefers to stay in the shadows, but isn't a threat to us[b]

Aak calmly walks up, and extends a hand towards Voz. He cocks his head to the side, and then turns back to the others.

[b}Voz, these people are good people. The befriended me, even though I was an outsider. We share a common enemy, the damned cult that took away so much from you and I. It seems to be trying to take as much if not more away from them as well. Lend us your skill, in hopes to put an end to the cult.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

ref: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19

Aak travels along the stone floor. His footing is solid, and barely notices the wet stone. He is cautious as he is in new territory, but everything seems to go well to this point.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

I was born above, so I know not about the way underground has changed people. I agree with Daggerless, we have a common enemy. As long as Rheynold doesn't abandon us or give me reason to distrust him, then I am okay.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak, sensing a different heat, or lack thereof awaits a response before interjecting his own thoughts.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Understood Daggerless, thank you, Aak dons the cloth.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak has never questioned daggerless, for he has never given a reaon to. Ask can see fine in the dark, so he wonders why he would need one.

Daggerless, I can see fine in the dark, is there another reason why I may need to put on such a garment?

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak sees the rock-work, he thinks of his Gnome friend Shayne, who had been through so much with him. I hope he is well, as well as the others. The had sacrificed so much with me and for me

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Before Mal'c leaves, he gives him a firm handshake. Fast and safe travel friend. Thank you, for everything

Aak will take a deep breath, the look around to the others, The cultists are obsessed with perfection, perfection of what they view a themselves. Anyone who is not like them, human, full of hate, among other vile things; they want to eliminate them. Myself, along with a few others...who I think you would have liked, were all targeted by this group for not being like them. We fought against them, and made a very small dent. It seems like they are back to full force and threatening to snuff out whatever is in their path.

He lets everything sink in for a moment, before continuing.

This cavern is new to me, so I am unsure what lies ahead, but I would rather die trying to succeed then die at the hands of the cultist's ways. We need to be sharp, and expect the worse when we go in. I wonder who shall be joining us into the caves?

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

all good for now, will let you know if things change

Aak, follows with the others, and when the deceased one is turned over, and examined he cannot help but slam his gauntlet into the rocks nearby.

This is the enemy I was referring to. They have no remorse, they need to be dealt with before they destroy everything good in their way

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

I forgot how you always press on Mal'c. But I am good unless othrrs object.

Aak will double check himself than either bed back down or lead the way towards their destination of the caves.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Round 1 was get up, bless.

Round 2: move, draw morningstar and attack.

Aak, seeing the beast shaken, almost feels bad for the fate to become it...almost. He calmly walks up, and tries to put an end to the threat.

morningstar: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 141d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Ask is startled awake as the camp is ransacked through. He gets up, gathers his bearings and looks around for a target. Seeing the large furry creature, clearly hostile. He closes in on it. while he moves, he thinks about the prayer bead and uses a charge of it power.

double move...get up and move forward. Use bless bead to get as many allies as possible while moving.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

I will take third, if no one objects

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

DM:

Sounds good to me. How many ki points do I have before this feat? Do I need to wait until level 5 to gain a feat in order to take this? When I focus my ki, how many "charges" can I expend at once (ie. one charging = 1 point or all points?)

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak chuckles at Rheynold's inquiry, Fear not my friend, I too had similar questions about the chi. By god, of battle, has not deemed me unworthy. I, nor Mal'c, would ever intentionally cause your goddess to lose favor in your ways or methods of combating evil. But I do appreciate you risking yourself for others, especially those who have no connection to you.

Aak, extend his hand, and give a firm forearm shake to Rheynold, then sits down and meditates himself to find a balance.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

go big or go home lol: 1d8 ⇒ 5

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

HD: 1d8 ⇒ 1

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

DM:

Well, I don't know. Something to boost a skill check. Or something similar to a "monk ki" like the quinngong monk archetype

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

I was never good with directionhe says with a laugh. So, shall we head towards the cave. I wish to help the man on the sea as well, but we need to secure this area first. Your thoughts friends?, as he looks towards the others with him for their views.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

I could feel the key, pulling me towards the northwest. That must be what I feel. I will be happy to go there, how are the others doing, Grishnodnok? Are the well, will they trust me even though I had disappeared, the last statement he lets out a low grunt.

I look forward to helping cleanse the temple once more, is the guardian still around?

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

I will be happy to lend my shield and fist to the cause. I will not speak for my new friends.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

If the target of the sending is on a different plane, the message may not go through, however that is only a small chance as far as I know. I will allow anyone else to be able to take control if they like. Even Rema if you are so inclined?

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak will shed a tear for Master Toe'n. He helped Aak understand much of himself, when first beginning this journey.

Aak will grab the little clockwork creature, Perhaps we can try this little guy again?

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak heads over, extending his hand, but then he grabs Rema and embraces her and gives her a bearhug, following it up with Peter.

You know me, it takes a lot to kill my stubborn ass. So, let me introduce you to some new friends, who have taken me in, and help me get back here, he says as he points at Tamayra, Jenya, and Rheynold.

I will let these good folks explain themselves, but I can vouch for each of their strong wills, and dedication to noble causes. How is this place doing, it seems like it has seen better days? What did I miss while I was away?

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak simply smiles. The sights of Rema and Peter are amazing, there were times he thought he would die in the cave, trapped by the elementals.

You guys gonna say something or let flies in your mouths all day, Aak gives them both a toothy smile.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

It has been awhile since I have had a home cooked meal shall we folks?

Aak will go inside the temple grounds, arms and shield stowed away. He looks around for anyone that he may recognize to break the ice with his companions.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

As in the previous game, I am up for whatever :)

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

Aak cannot help but chuckle, Jenya, you begin to understand how I felt being in your native environment. But yes, the sun shines bright for about ten to twelves hours a day. It provides life and sustenance to all on the planet. It is a good thing, I promise, as he clasps Jenya on the shoulder as they travel towards the temple.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc

I would be happy to get us to the temple, I am fairly certain I can get us back there. The port however, I am unsure where it is located. Perhaps the temple may hold more clues, he looks towards the old man again, Would you care to join us? So long as my companions are okay with it.
