I was just looking at the Guide to Organized Play. I noticed (on pages 20-21) that you can buy a Raise Dead for 5450 gp or 16 prestige points. My level 3 character doesn't have that much gold or that much prestige, but I do have more than half of both. If I were to get killed, would I be able to spend half that much money and half that much prestige to get raised (2725 gp and 8 pp)?

No. Costs may not be split between PP and GP.
However, if you are killed, taking up a GP collection from other players at the table (who likely lived because you didn't) is fine - in fact, it's encouraged to make sure you raise your companions. Split 4 ways, the extra cost is probably less than your rewards for the scenario anyway.
Other players can't contribute PP, though, even if they're from the same faction.

This is a reason that taking humans & demi-humans prisoner rather than killing them is always the better tactic. Then if anyone dies you can raise extra money by selling your prisoners into slavery. Obviously this works better in Kaer Maga than in Andoran. It takes some of the bite out of the cost of raise deads and restorations.
