Saturday morning, 2016

Event organized by Paizo Game

Anagnorisis

Saturday morning, 8:00 am–1:00 pm, 2016 • Cascade 4

You awaken in a dark room, with three other people. You can't remember how you got here... you can't remember anything at all. It's up to you to find the truth, as the shadows creep ever closer...

Note: While this game includes many thematic elements from the Pathfinder RPG, it is high on roleplay and more freeform, with lots of thinking more so than d20 rolls.

Aww, thanks! You guys were a pretty awesome group yourselves. We'll see how this year's quartet fares. It should be lots of fun.

It's one of my 4's so fingers crossed!

I look forward to reading about it on the forums and I still think you should write it up as an adventure. My roommate and fiance' are both signing up for it this year - I told them they absolute HAD to and hadn't given them any details.

It was definitely one of the highlights of the Con for me last year and I'm super happy to see you offering it again.

Hey everyone, sound off here if you won a slot in Anagnorisis in the lottery! Here's some extras I posted last year:

You awaken in a dark room, with three other people. You can't remember how you got here...you can't remember anything at all. It's up to you to find the truth, as the shadows creep ever closer...

To start: You may be confused by the conjunction of "Complexity: Hard" and "Experience Required: None." That's because the roleplaying and problem-solving in the game will be challenging, but you don't need to know anything about how to play Pathfinder at all (as you are amnesiac, you won't even have the statistics on a character sheet anyway).

You poor soul, you have won TemplateFu for your game!

Rawr! Bring it on!

Looks like your finger-crossing and 4-marking paid off! It'll be nice to meet you at Paizocon; I've followed your posts for longer than I've worked here, as I participated in a few RPG Superstars before that. Based on what you've mentioned in other posts, perhaps you would enjoy the character Midknight Diamond played last year, but we'll see at the con!

What? Wait - what is this thread for? Why am I here?

Looking forward to the game. Thanks for running Mark.

Heh heh, you should be feeling scared - I actually, finally, after 9 seasons, broke the Top 100 barrier! :)

I'm pretty easy to please, willing to take on any character you and the other players want me to - getting to game instead of GM'ing is always a nice change of pace for me.

So looking forward to this. No pressure now! :P

I'm excited to see you all this weekend.

Just popping into say thank you for your running of something very different and great fun.

My players are now suffering some "inherited evil" from the techniques I got from watching you at work ;)

Nice! Hope, they're enjoying it too.

I just have to know, did he play the one I had last year? Had wayyy too much fun with that char.

Oh, and my roomie wants me to tell Anthony that she was glad to hear he got his ribbons back, she'd picked them up in the PFO room, where they'd been left on a table, and gave to a staffer who knew what he looked like to return.

Nope, different one. I'll say obliquely that he ended the game, and that might tell you which character he played.

Nice! I still hope you write this up one day and publish it (even if just PDF) when you get tired of tormenting unsuspecting souls with it at Cons! I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

And I held hands a lot... was sweet and innocent... so unlike the reviewer me! :P
