Strange, I thought Summoners were exceedingly rare in Golarion, directly due to the Eidolon.
Salim must be quite knowledgeable if he is aware of the connection between Eidolons and their Masters, despite their rarity! Granted, I am not familiar with Death's Heretic, so perhaps it's explained there.
The rarity of summoners may have been overstated in the past, as everyone has their personal preferences. And Salim is definitely quite knowledgable about many things! Hopefully all will become clear over the next few weeks.

I figured that since it was JJ's opinion, it had a little more weight :)

And with my thundering dislike for any vestiges of fiction in Paizo products, this is telling.
Well, it's a planar story by the guy who wrote City of Strangers, you had me at "hello" :)

I finished Death's Heretic yesterday. It was very enjoyable! I highly recommend it.
That description of the geography of The Clever Endeavor sounds vaugely familiar...
I am looking forward to the rest of the story Mr. Sutter.
Now I need to get my butt in gear and start writing reviews of all the Pathfinder Tales Novels.

You'll really like it. Sutter does an awesome job depicting a protean therein. Makes me happy :D

Death's Heretic is indeed a fun novel. Enjoying this story as well. Main puzzle is where it fits in the chronology--before or after? Looking forward to next week's installment.
If I am not mistaken, Mr Sutter has stated elsewhere in the web fiction comments that this is a prequel. I would go hunting to confirm it, but the siren song of the work I get paid for is calling...
