This story is without a doubt becoming my favorite of the pathfinder tales. I really am looking forward to seeing where these characters go, and well assuming they don't die bloody, I would love to see Roubris expanded in a full Pathfinder Tales novel.
Also high credit to the artist of this section, his illustrations really bring the characters to life.

As so many have said before, this is fast becoming my favorite of the Pathfinder Tales web fiction. I'm enjoying "Ghost of Broken Blades" very much. As for Roubris getting his own novel... that would indeed be fantastic... I'm just not sure he and Karatha are going to survive to the conclusion of this excellent story.
To quote Han Solo (and others): "I have a BAD feeling about this."

Or, Roubris uses the power of the sword to become much, much more than he is now...at a price of course.

Oooohhh.... yeah... an almost equally terrifying thought. (Almost in the sense of, while we might see a Roubris novel (under this proposed course) in that storyline I imagine Karatha getting the "axe" thanks in part to the influence of Serth).
Either way, can't wait for the next part.

The writing is great. I knew that M.C. is an excellent designer, but I'm surprised at how cool a writer he is!
Oh, and the art. Carlos Villa is da bomb. Please hire more often. That is all.
+1, though I already knew he was a great writer. *grins

I wonder what the monster is. It has fleshy wings, yet multiple mouths in a "worm-like" body. More importantly, I wonder what kind of a defense Roubris and Karatha can put up against it, and how Serth will (or won't) help them out. The monster is a nice cliff-hanger to the end of this installment in the story. I hadn't expected monsters until they actually got to the abandoned temple. It really makes me want to read more.
