As long as I've handed the scroll over to him and briefly described that we found it on a dwarven corpse in a nearby graveyard (and generally where it is), I don't need to do anything else. I just didn't want any ramifications from it to not happen because I had assumed wrongly about the communication. Thanks!

They are not our captives. The understood agreement was they talk and chill out, but we leave after we get our information.

I think I forgot to tell you that I am traveling this weekend. My posting will be spotty as a result. Yours will be the next game I update, but it will be in the AM. Sorry for the slowness, but I'll be back in the groove starting Monday PM.

Just to make sure I understand, Festus is saying the glowing dwarf is Malgrath, and the letter is implying that the dead dwarf we found in the cemetery is Grimbeard?
No. Grimbeard is the dwarf-thing in the camp that just disappeared with Olga the Varisian Witch. Malgrath is an as yet-unseen person who wrote Grimbeard thing asking him to find the stone.
Festus has yet to look at the documents you gave him before the fight. But he will. And there will be some story to that too.
I asked someone who posted looking for a game if they wanted to join us BTW. Not sure if they will want to but I sent them the gameplay link so they could read up. Offered them one of these NPCs or making a whole new PC if they wish.
