Combat over!
One of the rocky beings steps forward from the group that’s huddled in a corner near the magitech consoles. They raise an incongruously lanky appendage and speak in a grating voice— perhaps a greeting, perhaps a threat—then speak a few longer phrases and tilt their body from one side to the other as the other beings all turn toward the survey team.

Torbokka has no clue what the creature is trying to say. Even worse, Iseph understands the garbled message as "ugly android, I will kill you with Magitech"
AFK roll: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27
AFK understand the creature a bit better. Its name is Glerak-Akk-Totho-Sorak (Glerak for friends), and it's talking of the Alithee Alliance, who created magitech that existed harmoniously with the life essence of creatures on the planet, allowing the magitech to hide living creatures from detection. The strange rock formations and symbiotic plants growing near the magitech tower are all “ingredients” in a “formula” used to power the technology.
I'll still take a check from Chk Chk
Since AFK is... AFK, I'll allow other character to chime in what AFK responds.
Glerak becomes a bit more agitated, and seems to have some sort of warning...
I need everyone to rol a Arcana, Nature, or Society check, or a check with a relevant Lore skill

AFK47-1 points to Glerak-Akk-Totho-Sorak as they saw the name
I believe Glerak-Akk-Totho-Sorak means friend in Glerak. Glerak-Akk-Totho-Sorak is talking of the Alithee Alliance, who created magitech that existed harmoniously with the life essence of creatures on the planet, allowing the magitech to hide living creatures from detection. The strange rock formations and symbiotic plants growing near the magitech tower are all “ingredients” in a “formula” used to power the technology."

            Nature: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Torbokka tries to understand how Glerak-Akk-Totho-Sorak names works and trys to translate his own name while pointing to himself.
"Glerak-Vesk-Torbokka, I hope that means friend, it would save me from wasting more ammo."

Iseph can't make heads or tails of the friend's warning. Torbokka and AFK have conflicting interpretations of the warning: Torbokka is convinced that the creature is urging the group to flee, while AFK gets the impression the creature wants the group to help stabilize some magitech field in a nearby tower.
Chk chk R1, Crafting: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Chk chk R2, Nature: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Chk chk is a lot more certain: the planet’s magitech went haywire when the Alithee Alliance tried to adapt stolen quantum technology. Glerak wants the group to visit a nearby magitech tower, one that’s still in equilibrium and wasn’t adapted with alien technology, to stabilize the magitech field. Glerak mention that they and their companions are “out of equilibrium” and can’t interact with the magitech. Glerak also warns of the Alliance's robots: despite the Alliance’s original peaceful intentions, their final months involved a great deal of strife between factions and preparations for war. Many of the Alliance’s robots are programmed to destroy anyone who interferes with the towers, no questions asked.

The group sets out to get to the Magitech tower. The hilltop-landscape gives way to a dense jungle. As the group gets closer, shards of energy start rainig down. They crash to the jungle floor, slicing through branches and sending energy blasts and debris flying in every direction.
A particularly large shard falls right in front of the group, sending shockwaves forward and prompting swift action!

Iseph weaves around and Chk manages more protection, which is enough to get the group to safety as the falling debris seems to subside.
The respite is only momentary: as soon as the last chunks of debris have come down, wobbly robotic drones with arms bearing various tools emerge from the jungle. The robots seems to have no intention other than to 'repair' the adventurers, who obviously shouldn't be moving around like that. Or be breathing.

Eh? What's up with these puny enemies? Am I missing something?
With the robot drones defeated, the path to the magitech tower is clear.
At the nearby magitech tower, the group is able to send a signal to temporarily stabilize the collapsing energy field. Instead of falling in great shards to the surface, the energy shield slowly dissipates into the atmosphere. With the planet once again in relative safety, the Weydanites begin the process of establishing peaceful relations with the Alithee Alliance.
