The first feeling that this room gives is the promise of home and light. The second is a palpable wave of dread, as a wave of negative energy flows into the chamber, pouring into the open sarcophagus at its center. Excess energy flows around like a foul wind, smelling faintly of ozone.

In the distance, screams echo, or perhaps laughter? It’s impossible to make out. A tattered and rotted body quickly rises from the sarcophagus,
garbed in rotted and torn fabrics that may have once been a sign of nobility. “Finally, I can feel that I’m freed from that accursed lich, and I believe I have you to thank. Sadly, the only gratitude I can offer is death. I need your strength to become my strength, so I can repay those who betrayed me!”

Mia sees the creature rise, and with an expression mixed with delight of a heroic fight and the grimness of the possible outcome, starts reciting a poem:

One of Mia's arrows strikes true, and the party feels inspired by her example. Zdenek is able to get up and over Alystair, briefly balancing on his hands on Alystair's shoulder. And while Alystair is distracted by the lizardfolk, Tirx is able to run up and stab the man twice.

Alystair dances to Tirx's side, and brings down his longsword.

Tirx is punished deeply as Alystair takes him down in one swing of his sword. Technically, I'd need a fortitude save from Tirx. It may matter. "That was easier than I thought." The undead man walks deliberately to Zdenek.

Tirx sees Desna, begging him to walk forward into the light, but Br'eak's magic prevents him from walking further into the tunnel. While the skeleton in her way prevents her from getting as good an angle as she wanted, the two blows take down Alystair for good.

Then her flick-mace destroys a second skeleton guard who walks into the room.

Zdenek jumps up and throws down his claw and crushes in the last remaining skeleton. There's audible pop in the room, and the unnatural pressure in the air dissipates. The void energy field in the room lifts. A few pages are visible in the sarcophagus that Alystair rose from. They tell of a double cross, that their pursuit was planned by the mage, and part of her process to create her soul cage. Several of Alystair's companion's were turned into undead as she drowned them in a pool of blood and offal.

If the group presses forward, they come to a collapsed corridor the looks like it would connect back to the start. However, there's a bright and colorful tear in space, that can be reasonably assumed to lead back to the Universe.

On the other side of the pillow that is the universe, you can find the mural that the other Pathfinders described and make rubbings. Your mounts are safe and secure on the other side.

On meeting Ambrus again Gella burst out, Mutt..err, Amrbus, hey, great to see you again. We found all kinds of cool stuff beyond the door. There were horrible blood pools, undead skeletons, some really sneery undead warrior and all kinds of other things.

We entered a room, seemingly empty, with an open corridor leading to one direction and a closed door opposite it. The door seemed locked, and Trix started to pick the lock. A moment later, it clicked open, and we pushed the door open.

Hear gods, the fate of the heroes,
for a being long dead, full of evil and hate,
rose from the tomb, of stone cold and gray,
calling the living to join his army dead and pale
"

She coughs, and apologizes: "Sorry, got a bit carried away there". She collects all her note scrolls and hands them over. "With the rubbings, these should give enough information about the place."
