Upon seeing the half-orc, Dennis runs up to him. In orcish, he says, "Hi. You're Dostall. I'm Dennis." He asks, "How's my orcish? I've been practicing." Of course Dennis hasn't been practicing. But his best friend at the academy was an orc and taught him. "When I grow up, I'm gonna get a kraken tattoo like yours!"

Dennis continues excitedly, "It's my first time on a boat. I wanted to see the captain's charts. To see how much longer till we get there." The lad barely pauses to breathe. "But they're gone! Maybe you've seen them? I won't tell anyone."

Fedge laughs. "I'll take all the luck I can get. We are surrounded by n'er-do-wells. I've heard a Pathfinder, a woman, is out to pilfer items on the ship but I've heard the same of one of the male pirate crew. So you never can tell."

A bit nervous, the halfling scholar confesses to Slipp "There were a lot of us moving to and fro, but I'll tell you this - the actual thief was in the cabin immediately before or after someone who was green."

The half-orc grimaces at the sounds of his mother tongue uttered from Dennis's lips. "Word spread that they've been pilfered. I dunno who took 'em, but the goblin lookout is convinced it was definitely a longshanks."

The crew looks around sheepishly at each other at Ra'uf's decree.

Aulasden smiles at the clever tune Lootie weaves. After the performance she walks by and whispers. "The thief had feathers or fur..."

After the shock of her revelation subsides the nagaji explains her reasoning. "We know from witnessss ssstatements that the culprit wasss covered in fur or feathersss, wasss either a female pathfinder or a male pirate and entered either immediately before or after sssomeone green. We alssso know that they were tall or at leassst taller than a kobold or halfling. Tsssaraka is the only sssuspect that meetsss all criteria."

Dennis chimes in. "My mama says I'm good at solving problems." He pauses and concedes, "She might have said causing problems. I wasn't listening."

Agreeing with Salissa, he continues, "Anyway, I think it was Tsaraka too. Because it was a male pirate. Who isn't green. And Tsaraka has black feathers. Duh." Dennis seems very pleased with himself. Even though he wasn't the first to figure it out.

Moving to the crew quarters with haste, your group searches the footlockers. The nervous Tengu watches on as the rest of the crew gathers for the reveal.

Sure enough find the missing documents in Tsaraka’s belongings.

"Now wait!" he squacks. Before you send me to the plank... I'll tell you everything I know if you just let me return to port in one piece..."

Calisro nods, with a serious stare you don't often see on her usually good-natured self. "Go ahead then" she slides out through gritted teeth.

The tengu explains "I was reporting telepathically to a demon-pirate woman named Enav. She promised to leave her current captain and serve me on a ship of his own. I don't know why I accepted her deal..."

“Pathfinders!” Eando beckons from the deck above. Moving up to the upper deck, the rains let down upon you and the winds threaten to push you back into the hold.

The Snapdragon suddenly lurches as a violent crosswind hits it broadside. Eando grimaces as he tries to see through the newly gathered storm. He calls out, gesturing up to the rigging. “It looks like there’s some sort of elemental up there. Go see what it wants, and if you can get it to go bother some other ship!”

“Ahoy, pirates! I hope thou hast made thy tithes to Besmara, because thou art about to meet thy foul mistress!” a booming voice calls out. Whirling winds form multiple humanoids, which cluster together as electricity crackles between them.

“Thou canst tell her that Wshallo—herald of Ranginori, the Zephyrous Prince—didst send thou there as punishment for thy foul behavior,” the stormy figures call out in unison. “Declare unto the Pirate Queen that her perfidious pirates shalt no longer be allowed to roam the Eye of Abendego, for the Duke of Thunder claims this territory!”

This will take some delicate wordplay to navigate... each of you can attempt a DC 22 Deception, Diplomacy, or Intimidation check to persuade Wshallo that you’re not pirates.

"I am Sipp, touched by Urxehl. I acknowledge some of those on this ship have been pirates in the past. But for now they serve the Pathfinder society. Who were instrumental in the rescue of your lord. Show appropriate respect for those who helped thy Lord, and make way for us, before my wrath overcomes me and my patience wears thin. "

If you tell Wshallo your true mission...:

Wshallo informs you about a brief encounter “Ah, yes, I have lain mine many eyes on this wreck you seek. But when I drew close, a foul ghost shot at us, and we departed as quickly as we blew in!”

Wshallo beams amongst the flashes of lightning — “Thou hast earned a reward for thy help in freeing my most windy master, mortals! Take it, be grateful!” and gives you two bottles and a staff made of dense wood topped with an obsidian sphere.

One of the bottles is a white spun cloud and one is a black spun cloud (from Rage of Elements). The staff is an atmospheric staff (also from Rage of Elements).

The mysterious elemental dissipates back into the storm itself...

Slipp eyes up the bottle and the staff. Finally they look at the others in the group. "I think I could use that staff to help people breathe while underwater..."

The elemental's form disappears and is replaced by the hint of an island in the distance.

The ship quickly comes to a halt near the wreckage-strewn sunken island. But as the venture-captains begin marshaling Pathfinders to explore, a ripping sound suddenly overwhelms the noise of the storm. Reality itself seems to tear, and another ship emerges from the rift, slamming into the Snapdragon!

Horrific sailors with shark heads and octopus tentacles instead of arms line the railings of this new ship, ready to board the Pathfinder vessel. Its prow is adorned with a figurehead in the shape of a demon, whose horns combine to form a deadly looking bowsprit. The figurehead’s eyes suddenly glow red, and its mouth opens to emit a yell: “For Enava!”

In response, the awful sailors (a pair of shark headed demons with tentacles instead of arms and a swarm of flying demonic mouths) on the new vessel roar in unison, “For Enava!” and leap to attack!

New map in handouts. I'm using perception for everyone's initiative (with a penalty due to rain, but let me know if you'd like to justify another skill to use) and we will adjust if needed.

Dorgath quickly pulls a wand from his coat and casts spiritual armament from it. A translucent looking scimitar bursts from the wand and attacks the larger creature.

Dorgath's godly scimitar whizzes about the biting swarm but fails to connect significantly. Lootie begins the show, but his darts fail to penetrate the fiend's thick hide. It squeals and leaps forward across the gang-planks and lashes out at Salissa.

Dennis scrambles closer and stabs cleanly through the demon with two massive thrusts. It sizzles and melts away.

Salissa activates her aura and finds a new target to blast. Needed to step you first to have a target within 30 feet (orange)

The swarm races across the open air between the vessels and surrounds the two front-liners, the flying mouths mercilessly chewing through them as they resist the onslaught.

Although somewhat crewless, the demon ship begins to vibrate to the rhythm of a strange and vile sea chantey and a blast ensues from thin air and targets the demon-slayer Dennis.

Finally, the remaining demon races into the fray and grasps weakly at Slipp.

@Dennis I did do the reactive strike, but it missed - I should have said so, though. Cold Iron does seem to burn them a bit...
@Salissa The swarm is resistant to the thorn damage.
@Lootie Counter Performance does allow everyone to succeed but does end the Lingering Courageous Anthem composition early.

Slipp lets loose a volley of fire rays that each hit pay-dirt. Ra'uf manages to free himself but can't slice into the demon.

Salissa moves to a better position and gestures. The thorns surrounding her fly forward in a deadly cone, catching both swarm and demon. Relieved of their pointy defenses the vines dissipate, along with the water droplets and bits of wood swirling around the kineticist. Some of the wood fails to vanish but instead sticks to the nagaji's skin.

Salissa now has 6 temp HP until the start of her next turn. Her kinetic aura deactivates.

As mentioned, Ra'uf, you get another action last round (2nd attack with MAP maybe?)

Lootie tries to scare an entire ship, but it stays afloat. Dorgath contemplates the ship and switches the target of Sarenrae's weapon. It hits with gusto, and the sanctified weapon cuts hard! So hard, that Dennis only needs one more slash to fell the fiend.

@Dennis Stepped you back to face the swarm with the last unused action, so you could threaten the swarm.

Salissa unleashes a volley of splinters at the swarm, but each of the tiny mouths seem to duck and dodge at the precise right moment.

The swarm surrounds the cleric and kineticist and Dennis manages to take out a good chunk of the beasties as they glide there. The remaining ones tear into the heroes, but also elicit a strange thrumming sound that confuses your ears. The demon ship volleys and thunders at the lone fighter, but the cannons miss wide right and wide left.

If you are adjacent or in that area, you can attempt to disable it with a trained Religion (to ward against demonic presence), Arcana or Occultism (to weaken the demonic possession), an Intimidation (to scare it away), or even Sailing Lore (to confuse it).
