Ah I was not sure if something prohibited them or if their traits would curb the weaknesses. Since they are made immune to the sun by Dayborn.
Thematically I wanted a Dhampir who as he ages and grows becomes more vampire in nature but has to fight the desires it imposes (Lots of Will saves, especially around wounded allies)

Quandary |

Dayborn doesn't give them "immunity to the sun" it is just removing a Racial trait (Weakness) they normally have,
basically putting them on par with other normal races in that regard, e.g. Human.
Thus, being Dayborn (or other Dhampir variants that replace Weakness) is irrelevant if you gain Sunlight Weakness from another source.

I find the easiest thing to do is just disallow Dhampir, Half-Undead, etc.
Because how can you be "half not-living?" Even accepting the unusualness of magic, that stretches the imagination a little too hard. :P
But for the sake of argument: The reason Dayborn doesn't negate the Vampire weakness is because it does something entirely different. A Dayborn Dhampir that is turned into a full vampire does not have the "Light Sensitivity" racial trait, but sunlight will still kill them.
In other words, as said character is burning to death in sunlight, they won't be Dazzled. ;)
