The SFS special has ended and the Starfinders are of course victorious!
Given that this is the week of Halloween, let's plan for the mission briefing for this scenario to start in one week on Monday, November 6th. I'll get slides up in a couple of days and you can also start sorting through starship roles.

I've had the chance to play in a high level starfinder game today, so my character sheet has changed a little bit. Nothing major, I bought an augmentation and my credits and reputation increased.

Beyond that, he's mediocre in the other Starship roles.

I put Tash up front in the single-line marching order. He's flexible (ranged and melee) but he's not really a tank.
If we have a formal tank, you're welcome to take lead. Otherwise Tash will stay put. :)

I think there's gonna be a bit of a discussion over the pilot role.
I've started a dialog in the Gameplay section.

Eh. For what it is worth, Iseph the character would probably care about being the pilot, but I the player do not.

Sounds like our starting positions are Amariel as Engineer, Grump as Pilot, and Tash, Navasi, and Iseph as gunners?
We'll roll with that, and you all can totally change positions between rounds if needed!

Going to mention this because it is super easy to forget and miss, but at level 8, you start with an extra resolve point that can ONLY be used in starship combat. Page 322 of the core rulebook.

I wanted to clarify Tash's thought about wanting to be in the jungle, since it feels kinda sudden in the story's narrative.
He enjoys constructed environs like anyone else, but given the opportunity to explore a new wilderness, he's like a kitten with a catnip toy.
In this case, he's done with people and wants to go play in the leaves and hunt wildlife.
His thought isn't any kind of editorial comment about anything with the game... it's just how he thinks.
We now return to our regularly scheduled game, joined in progress. :)
