Seeing the darkness before him and the magical light, Kislum lets out a laugh. “Such a pathetic display, do you really expect to scare me with such feeble magic? I am not a child who squirms at the sight of darkness, especially not from such a basic spell.” Kislum snaps her fingers and utters the incantation as magic spreads from her fingers to dispel the darkness around her.
“A darkness spell and light candle? Are you trying to make me laugh?” Kislum looks around and gazes at the small black cat. She lets out a cackle as she stares at the black cat. “And what are you supposed to be? A shapeshifter or a true animal? Let's see. I suggest you revert to your true form if you have one so we can have a proper conversation.(DC 35)”dispel check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
btw since Kislum has the serpentine and impossible bloodline, she affects all animals, magical beasts, monstrous humanoids and constructs as if they were humanoids who understand her language for all language or mind affecting spell. So the cat should obey if it fails the save
The darkness is dispelled and the cat skitters from you jumping into the lap of a man lounging. There are two women at his sides, obvious workers. He looks up... then casually states, "I miss my shadows. Why bother me? I was having my fun." The black cat preens at his touch.

"Sly is an interesting travel companion. Though, I can't shake the feeling of him spying on me for Arthur. But, as we are allies, and I have a predilection for the clandestine, I suppose I can accept it for now." Desseer feigns pouty, "I just like having secrets."
He gives Lillith a gentle finger boop on the nose, "You got it. I'll leave the Consortium to you for now. If there is anything I can do to help, just let me know." He then heads for the window before stopping abruptly and turning back around, "Hey, what do you know about Guild District Rukar? Do you know where he is?"

“So the tiefling we met wears the name Mendas as a mask.” He gave a slow nod, not surprised by the information. “That fits his manner. Quick with charm, quicker with misdirection. A man like that rarely shows his true face unless he must.”
Bloodmaw huffed from behind, and Hrothgarn let the sound fade before continuing.
Hrothgarn’s eyes narrowed just a fraction. “If he sent you instead of showing himself, then this is no simple introduction. So... why are you here? Carrying a message, delivering a warning, or judging the measure of the two men he’s placed in the heart of his storm?”

When Iris mentioned wishing they had some nicer accommodations Myriana understood, her right ear twitching as she said, "Yeah, it would be nice. A chance for some privacy in a nice, big, soft bed, maybe with some restraints or toys involved....," Myriana didn't seem to be completely paying attention to what she said with that last bit as she had already started to work on formulating the spell she was working on.
If people have returned to base please speak up, Myriana and Iris are there but I don't tend to read spoilers not meant for me.

Disguise: 1d20 + 40 ⇒ (20) + 40 = 60
[ooc]As the beautiful full body piece without showing.[ooc]
[i]'Now get dressed and bring no more than four guards. Any more and I will kill them all and you. We are to meet my boss, and too many invites caution, too few an insult. You are neither. You are a Craterlord, a woman of means and influence. You are my woman now. You are going to present yourself to my boss and our guild, as you will become far more valuable than just your fly-speck position here. That is, if you exude proper respect and decorum.' He says his form is flawless on her skin. not shying from her intimate areas.
With that, he lets the Craterlord gather the proper guards and follows the instructions of Ink. The former Russian mobster is enjoying every moment of this woman's subtle shiver and tremble. Gently reminding her of punishment and rewards. In fact, he wondered if Dresseer would be open to begin tattooing the servants of our guild so we could track them, and other servants knew who to go to. It did help his family in the world they left behind. Here, they could also use them to scry upon. Which also meant better loyalty.

Jav'Urk
She walks forward, "Welcome back boss. The catfolk and her companion are hard at work with spellcraft. They came back with a charismatic half dragon,... name of Dominique. Most are still out. Ink has a present for you in the drawing room. I will take you there..."
Yes I think Ink would be back before Desseer.
She leads Desseer into the drawing room. There a beautiful woman with four guards waiting for you. The room seems much cleaner and several of the pieces of furniture have been mended.
Thorin Spellsplitter
"Then I will speak freely." Thorin said, striding forward towards the man. He put his hand out, inviting him to grasp hands together.
"You've got the measure of us, on why we are here." He said, looking the man in the eyes. "Hrothgarn and I are smiths by trade. We prefer to build rather than tear down, and respect those with the strength of mind and arm to do the same. If I have the right measure of you, well, you've obviously got half of that in abundance. So, tell me." He continued. "This guild of yours. What does it want. And what it is that you seek?"
He did not bother to hide that he was judging John based upon how he answered. While Thorin respected strength, that was only half of the equation. The 'why' was just as, if not more, important when it came to taking the measure of a man.
Desseer Arnalc
Desseer gives an appreciative nod, but gestures with his hand to wait a moment. "Well done Jav. This is what I had in mind for you," he says warmly. "A couple things..firstly, Dominique is a member of that other guild I spoke of before, Dragon's Glory. Secondly, the catfolk is Myriana, and her companion is Iris. If you already knew these things, my apologies for interacting as though you didn't. It is not overly important to me that you use their names when speaking with me, but some others prefer it." He gives Jav another nods and gestures, "Lead on."
In the room with Ink..
Desseer looks around the room with an expression of amused curiosity. He allows the silence that started upon his entrance to last a little into uncomfortable levels before breaking it. "Your gift of is the Craterlord herself? What a curious choice," he says with a little surprise. "What did you have in mind?"
Desseer turns to Jav, "Oh, yeah. Update that Craterlord Zerasha, of the Beast Market, is dealt with. Also, as I didn't see Kislum, for now, presume the death of Variden. Note that it isn't confirmed, though. That just leaves Rukar. And finally, apologize to Dom for me. Tell him that I'll catch up after I'm done here."
Ink the Spot
Ink let's his form priceless and tear through the craterlords garments. Thuse revealing the intricate tattoos alive as he then bleeds like ink off her to the ground.
' Yes thought it was the better end.I suggest we tattoo her and any operatives, for scrying purposes' Ink says keeping to his ooze form of a inky cloud of water come life.
Desseer Arnalc
Desseer wrinkles his face in thought, "I suppose...I was going to use Roth...but maybe she can be useful too." He then levels his gaze upon the Craterlord. "What do you know about the Consortium?"

She shook her head, forcing herself to calm down. She was unnerved with herself. In the previous life she always ensured her emotions never got the better of her, so she could play the political game with logic and skill. Even after when she lost everything, she pushed her emotions down to ensure no one would take advantage of her weakness. Did repressing her emotions for so long cause her to be so volatile? Or was it her new undead form? Either way she needed to focus. She would not be looked down upon by this worm…
She reached out her psychic gaze fixing on the man, weakening his mind, before her magic reached out and ensnarled his body. The gestures and words came easy to her, it was her favourite spell after all. She turned her attention to the cat as well and did the same after the spell cast on its master. If she has her way, she will rip his smug little head off its pathetic body.
no dialogue this time, just two instances of hold person one on the cat and the other on the man. Same deal DC 35, -2 to the save due to stare. Assuming the cat is an animal or magical beast, her magic would treat it as a humanoid due to her bloodline. If it succeeds could she just cut the man’s head off? It would be cooler if she could use her bare hands but if not she can get a sword from one of the thralls outside
RARGHG
Mmmm, sure she wasn’t sent to recruit warriors but technically this should count as removing unwanted criminals from the board? Oh well. If Desseer had a problem with it he could get rid of them.
As she glanced at the gathered group, some of them caught her eye. There were several mages, a couple of leaders and some rogues. Honestly given the area she was in, she had expected there to be far more thieves in their midst but this suited her purposes just as well. The leaders provided to be useful in leading and planning assaults which was excellent. It made her job much simpler if the warriors didn’t need her personal supervision to proceed.
Unfortunately, the items the bandits brought before her were hardly directly useful. Perhaps there were some magic items but her eye was not suited in identifying them. The casters in the group could take a look at them when she got back. Oh well, she quickly places all the items into a suitably large crate and carries it with her.
During one of the last raids something interesting finally happened. A man was able to slay 4 bandits on his own and, more importantly, when she stepped forward to swipe with her scythe, he was able to shield himself magically from her strike. As her scythe struck into the magical shield, she grinned. Eager for a good fight at last. Sadly, as she prepared to take a second swing, she could tell the man was tired and would not be able to take another hit. It would be a waste to simply slay such a warrior. She allowed her scythe to rest against her, relaxing slightly before saying, “You managed to block one of my strikes. Very impressive not many creatures could do so. But I see you are too tired to stop another and it would pain me greatly to strike down a promising warrior. Tell me your name, warrior, and join me. My guild will soon control this town and snuff out all remaining resistance. But if you work with me, you could keep your life and the lives of those who look up to you.”[\b] she points at the children, [b] “I know not if you are a hero but either way, it would be in your best interest to join the winning side.”. She offers a finger in friendship.
Later, something else interesting catches her eye. A woman was putting up a valiant attempt against 5 bandits. She only had a shield and so little way to truly prevail but she was holding her own quite nicely. Even if the 5 were playing with her, her battle displayed she had a warrior’s spirit. RARGHG slams her scythe into the ground and loudly orders them to “Stop!”. She looks at the girl curiously and in as friendly a tone as she can manage says, “you have fought well with just a shield, I am impressed by your tenacity. Not many humans have such will. I offer you a choice. Join me, I could use one with a warrior’s spirit such as yours. If not, I shall grant you an end that befits your valour. Speak your name Warrior and make your choice.”
RARGHG continues her killing spree until she can find no other targets, freeing slaves as she goes to maintain the liberator image. After this she announces she shall return to her guild mates and beckons the bandits to follow. Unfortunately her mission wasn’t as straightforward and simple as she would have liked it but she probably killed enough to justify its completion. She begins walking back to the guild.
RARGHG will head back only after the bandits run out of targets to kill. Unless there’s someone else interesting for her to fight, she is quite happy with heading back with her new followers and hopefully the two warriors who actually managed to impress her during her journey.

He nods at your words until you bring up the guild. He then relays, "Honestly they resurected me. I am paying off my debt to Desseer. I am not one of the guild but more like a indebted vassal. What do I want... I want to learn of my Sect and to see if it survived the test of time."

Now the aked Craterlord is naked, one of her guards approaches her with his cloak. The other three are freaking out, draw their weapons, and look around for a threat. They don't even recognize Ink as a threat. They focus on Desseer. Though their training is impeccable and they don't attack without a command from Craterlord Jorlane.
Even as she shudders from the feeling of the ooze leaving her body and making her naked, she keeps her form. She instructs her guards, "It is alright, please stand down. These are the new lords of Cinder. Show proper respect or be ground by their heels. Sorry my lord, the Consortium? What about those old fools? They are merchants who dabble in the Arcane. I believe they were sending a shipment to Cinder. Though Zerasha should have a better hand on that. She took most of my operatives."

The man frowns at Kislum, "Ladies, I need to discipline this... creature..." His skin darkens to pure black. As he slowly stands up. His cat is frozen in place by your spell. He grabs it and squishes it as his fingers turn into claws. He then growls out, "I liked that cat but you tainted it with your magic."
Myriana
Iris forced Myriana to take a break by the simple expedient of making her ink disappear when the catgirl wasn't looking. Aggravated that Iris wouldn't give her the ink back Myriana finally conceded so she could get back to work soon.
When she was pointed towards where Deseer was at Myriana went that way and saw...a naked woman?! With a roll of her eyes Myriana said, "Am I inyaterruptinyag somethinyag nya?"
Desseer Arnalc
Desseer feigns surprise at Ink, "Me? Dangerous?" He then laughs it off, "Ha! Don't hold it against them. It is hard to figure out what to think of a sentient glob of-"
Desseer turns in surprise at Myriana's entrance and then gives her a smile, "No. The naked lady is Ink's doing."
Turning back he points at Jorlane, "Speaking of..you..the respect is appreciated but, I prefer results. I need Cinder to be run well, not tyrannically. Can you manage?"

'Who doesn't like naked lady' Ink laughs in Myriana's head and then moves over too the corner and lets words rolling over his body.
She is amenable to working with us. As I do believe she wants to live and not lose her station. I recommend we tattoo them, magically, to track them and scry upon them. When needed." Ink says to Desseer as he then looks to her.
'If you dont want her, I can take her and sculpt her into something unique. Or we could take her back and see how the minions will use her'

“Debt explains your presence. It doesn’t explain your path.”
He tilted his head slightly.
“If Desseer wants the Craterlords shattered, does that align with what you seek? Will their fall uncover your Sect… or is this merely another task you shoulder because he asks it?”
Myriana
Myriana listened to what Deseer and Ink had to say about the crater lords and the naked woman. She listened to what Ink had to say about the woman's fate if Deseer didn't take her and looked at Iris questioningly. She knew the talk about making a harem had upset Iris, and that wasn't what she was expecting, though she wouldn't turn it away if Iris was willing. She looked to Iris with a question in her eyes to see what her girlfriend had to say.

Focusing on the task at hand she considered her options. While he wasn’t a typical astral stalker, he was close enough that he likely counted as non-humanoid. Which means, her best chance to disarm him was her domination gaze which could dominate creatures of any type. However, she needed to be cautious. Who knows what her prey could be capable of. No, she needed to stack the deck in her favour and she knew just the way.
Weaving her hands together for the appropriate hand signs, she feels the spell energy leave her hands. She directed it at the monster, willing it to sit on his hand and do nothing for as long as possible. That would buy her the time she needs.
Seems she needs to try something new after all, let’s see if this works. She casts Oppressive boredom(DC35, -2 to save). If he fails, he loses his action. Then every subsequent turn he must make the same save or lose his action as well for 6 turns. Also same deal move to maintain distance and do the mirror image trick if he attacks her
Desseer Arnalc
Desseer waves dismissively, "We are not done yet. So, I do not yet have that information. Though, I acknowledge that such information would be useful to you. I'll get it to you when I have it." His focus shifts to one of the bodyguards. "Now," he continues dramatically, "you, Craterlord, are familiar with my compatriot's ability to...punish disobedience. Let me show you what can happen when you displease me."
His eyes dart back to Jorlane and he points to the bodyguard he was previously looking at. "Take his sword and kill him," he orders with steel in his voice.
The guard stands motionless, panic clear in his eyes.

RARGHG will crawl her way inside to the room where Desseer, Ink, and Myriana are. Popping her head through the door way before saying, “Hey guys, I am back. It took a little more effort than I expected since all the bandits kept holing up in crevices and refusing to come fight me. I had to recruit some help to smoke them out…why is there a naked woman here and why is she holding a sword? If this is a someone’s fetish I could come back later once you are finished

Myriana giggled a little at Iris' response and moved up close to her. She whispered in Iris' ear.

"Would you people," he says with barely contained irritation, turning to his guild mates and gesticulating, "let me do my thing?! Yes, a woman is essentially naked! No, that does not automatically mean this is something sexual! C'mon!"

RARGHG lets out a chittering laugh at Desseer’s outburst. “mhmmm, if you say so. Sure nothing sexual going on here. *snort* I will just stay right here in case we go over something important then.” she says while her body vibrates with her stifled laughter
