Myriana
Myriana saw Iris go her own way when Myriana went to go speak with Deseer and realized that Iris was in a bit of shock and troubled by what she had just witnessed. She knew she would need to talk with Iris and try to help reassure her, but for now she decided that it was best to let her have some space.
When she reached where Deseer was Myriana listened to what he had to say seriously and nodded in understanding, "That makes senyase nya. I may be whimsical nya, but I am nyaot lettinyag my guard down nya."
Hesitating a moment before bringing up her concern Myriana was about to speak when she heard the strange scrabbling sound out in the hall and her gaze jerked that direction. It was big, whatever it was, and it sounded like a giant multi-legged something tore off down the hallway. She looked back at Deseer and asked, "What was that nya?!"

His gaze flicked once toward the smoke drifting over the district before returning to her, calm and unhurried.
“We’ll focus on keeping people alive and the district from tearing itself apart. You handle what you need to handle. So long as we’re not working at cross-purposes, there’s no issue.”
A faint edge of dry humor crept into his voice.
“I’ll make sure the priests understand the arrangement. Better it comes from me than through raised alarms.”
He shifted his stance, already turning away, a small smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth.
“Just try not to leave more mess than we can reasonably explain.”

Kislum Thrallmaster
Kislum smiles and bows, saying, “Then I will leave you to it. Good luck on your quest to stabilise these districts. I will get out of your hair”
Kislum turns and moves back to her thralls. She stops briefly to search chandler’s body for magical items and gold before entering chandler’s tower. She snaps her fingers and orders her thralls to place all the treasure into expensive materials into trunks and prepare them for transport. She will keep the magical rings and necklaces on herself.
She will then sit down and concentrate on black’s link. She intends to check on his progress and make sure he is on task
Kislum will just stay in the tower and concentrate on black’s link till he returns unless something else comes up. Her thralls outside the tower not helping her loot will keep an eye on the trio until they leave.

by spar I mean we each deal non lethal damage and then when we get staggered(dealt your hp total worth of non-lethal damage) the spar ends. Since we are both physical combatants, iirc we can just declare that our attacks will deal non lethal damage I think: https://aonprd.com/Rules.aspx?ID=172

140 damage without DR applied... looking to see if I bypass that Lawful DR...Nope that is 10th level. So 140-30=110 damage nonlethal, except for the cold he can't turn off. It would be +3d6 for each hit in cold if he was hitting with everything.

actually I think we take the fight outside, I don’t think she can swing her weapon in the house also she can’t actually hit an AC 48 without going all out
Round 1: She will rage as a swift action and swing her scythe down in an arc
to hit: 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (9) + 27 = 36 [miss]
vital strike: 12d6 + 2d6 + 53 ⇒ (1, 1, 4, 2, 1, 2, 4, 5, 5, 5, 3, 6) + (6, 1) + 53 = 99
Round 2: Her first strike caves in the stone beneath the monk but her already disappeared. She will smile as she feel the countering blow and strike thrice with her scythe activating her superpower (haste(+1 to hit), refresh in 1d4)
haste refresh: 1d4 ⇒ 3
dice=to hit] d20+28[/dice][miss]
full attack damage: 6d6 + 2d6 + 44 ⇒ (3, 2, 6, 5, 5, 6) + (4, 5) + 44 = 80

Round 3: The monk has thus far completely thwarted her strikes by neatly dodging her, with her heavy blows striking nothing but air. Very impressive
to hit: 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (18) + 27 = 45 [miss]
full attack damage: 6d6 + 2d6 + 44 ⇒ (5, 6, 2, 4, 3, 6) + (1, 4) + 44 = 75

full attack damage: 6d6 + 2d6 + 53 ⇒ (3, 2, 2, 3, 1, 5) + (2, 2) + 53 = 73
Round 4: The monk was very skilled at dodging her strikes. And his strikes her consistent and sharp. RARGHG giggled to herself in admiration
to hit: 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (16) + 27 = 43 [miss]
full attack damage: 6d6 + 2d6 + 44 ⇒ (5, 3, 3, 2, 1, 1) + (3, 6) + 44 = 68

full attack damage: 6d6 + 2d6 + 53 ⇒ (5, 5, 4, 4, 4, 3) + (6, 2) + 53 = 86
Round 5(RARGHG will presumably be staggered after this) She unleashes her super power granting her haste for the round and unleashes a final barrage of strikes.(haste, refresh 1d4 rounds)
to hit: 1d20 + 28 ⇒ (12) + 28 = 40[miss]
full attack damage: 6d6 + 2d6 + 44 ⇒ (5, 6, 2, 3, 5, 2) + (5, 4) + 44 = 76
to hit: 1d20 + 28 ⇒ (15) + 28 = 43 [miss]

to hit: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (17) + 21 = 38 [miss]
full attack damage: 6d6 + 2d6 + 53 ⇒ (1, 5, 3, 3, 4, 2) + (1, 1) + 53 = 73
RARGHG steps back, staggered her scythe resting by her side. The stonework and buildings lay shattered near her as she laughed loudly. “very impressive work monk, you are very skilled in your footwork. You dodged all of my attacks very well. It seems I have some ways to go in the path of the warrior. Thank you for the spar, you have helped me learn much about my own weaknesses.” RARGHG smiles at the monk. Yes there was much she needed to do to grow stronger.
yeah it’s no surprise she lost without getting a hit in, her to hit is +28 even with bulls strength, rage, haste and bane so she could only hit him on a 20. Technically she could have stopped using power attack and used her trox frenzy to reach a +31 or used a mythic point but it’s a spar so she wouldn’t go that far. Still though that was fun rolling so many dice plus I also realised full attack against foes with similar AC nearly doubles her damage compared to vital strike since most of her damage comes from modifiers. Good to know for the future
RARGHG
oh wait i actually made a mistake, to deal non lethal damage with a lethal weapon, you take a -4 penalty to your attack roll. Technically this changes nothing since she would still need a 20 to hit in either case but just wanted to add that in
Dominique Silverstone
RARGHG and Dom, step outside probably to the street.
She had hit Dom once: 75 damage. Then 2 rounds of healing: 30. So only 45 damage by the end of round 5. Oh wait with the -4 on nonlethal... yup she missed.
-
Yeah, cleave and great cleave could do wonders!
He laughs and merrily says, "You nearly hit me multiple times! If you struck me a few times I would have needed to retreat to heal up. But as you said it was merely a spar. You are amazingly strong! You made me work for my defense, most of those I have faced can't hit me even as I stand. But we are players so it makes sense we hold true power. Do you have another form? Oh I also didnt use my punishing kicks which may have made you prone and staggered. I hope to see your fighting skills in the future."
Desseer Arnalc
Desseer leads the trio down the stairs and into the main area. As he steps through the doorway, into the main room, he hears the commotion outside. His body immediately tenses and he looks around the room to quickly track who is missing.
...Dom is missing...and RARGHG is missing.....?
Desseer raises an eyebrow and looks to Jav. Pointing outside, "Are they real fighting?"
Jav shakes her head as she shrugs.
...Probably...
The elf-incubus relaxes slightly, raises a hand, casts a spell, and then vanishes.
Casts Vanish
Ink the Spot
'Should I kill him and despose of the body?' Ink suggests nonchalantly as if it were another day in the office. He was after all no stranger to such work. Infact his supposed humanity seems even more distant.
Ink slithers and slimes his way into the room. He takes a minute to study the scene.

RARGHG
RARGHG laughs as well before noticing the others watching the fight. She waves at them cheerily before saying to dom, “Unfortunately my scythe limited me in terms of striking ability during spars but you were very skilled regardless. I look forward to seeing what you can do in real battle as well. My guild mates have some things to discuss with you I think. We should probably follow them.” she picks herself up and walks over to them
Kenyu Evians
Kenyu under the cover of invisibility will cast a message spell to Thorin(it’s harmless so it wouldn’t break invisibility).
She will then repeat the action and cast message again this time to Hrothgarn.
She has moved to about 30ft behind them so John doesn’t hear her whisper the words as part of the spell. She isn’t attempting to hide beyond the invisibility though so Thorin should still see her if he turns around.
just thought I’d keep the ball rolling and give Thorin and Hrothgarn a reason to notice me. The spell allows a reply but it has to be one sentence and they should probably whisper it
Myriana
Myriana wasn't sure what a RARGHG was, other than maybe something and orcish horde would yell as they charged. She was quite confused still but decided that it must not be too serious since no one seemed to be panicking. Eventually she came to the conclusion that RARGHG must be another player like them.
As Ink mentioned there were some players he wouldn't be able to detect Myriana nodded and said sadly, "Yeah, nya, like my old guild nya. Most of the higher ups nyaever were captured when I was used by you to bring them downya. If they are here and have a venyadetta we wonya't see them cominyag nya."
Eventually Myriana went with Deseer and Ink outside to see what, exactly, was going on. Her eyes widened and her ears laid back as she saw the big ankheg facing off against Dom. "I take it this is RARGHG nya?"
Desseer Arnalc
"Yes, this is RARGHG," Desseer confirms. "Trox that focuses on high damage hits. Great against enemies with high DR that can't be overcome." He then looks between the sparring partners. "RARGHG is right, I need to speak speak with you. You have someone making maneuvers here in Cinder. Do you have any more I should know about?"

When using telepathy you should really put it in a spoiler to the intended recipient. It is two way but you can only have one line going at a time... right?
Ink slithers outside no one really notices the moving slime just as he wants. Dom and RARGHG are fighting outside on the street.
They actually both seems pleased with each other. Happy to get some exercise.
Outside along the street Dom and RARGHG, begin to slow down and stop their spar. You can see where RARGHG hit the ground and buildings as there are impact craters from the massive scythe.
There is not much blood but there is plenty of bruises and cracks in RARGHG's chitinous form... there are also ice crystals jutting into her form. 110 nonlethal damage, 30 cold damage, roughly.

"Yes, this is RARGHG," Desseer confirms. "Trox that focuses on high damage hits. Great against enemies with high DR that can't be overcome." He then looks between the sparring partners. "RARGHG is right, I need to speak with you. You have someone making maneuvers here in Cinder. Do you have any more I should know about?"
He stretches and walks over as well, his voice is as smooth as velvet and welcoming, "Honestly, I don't know what you speak of. I am here with Thorin and Hrothgarn Jotunsmith as diplomatic envoys between our great guilds. I know of no one else making maneuvers on behalf of our great guild. Though Arthur has his ways, and this is the first time I have been in this city. Should we discuss inside, or I could spar with someone else? If there was anyone watching us, they would surely have fled for their lives."
Desseer Arnalc
"Ha, no," Deseer says with an amused smile. "I don't violence for the fun of it. Nor, would there be much to gain or train, the skill level between us is too great." He shrugs, leads the group back inside, and continues, "Well, Lillith is here and is in place as one of the Craterlords, Zerasha. Apparently, there's an organization that is outside of Cinder that is strongly interacting with Cinder on the quiet. With all of the destruction we've wrought, we might be able to use them to help rebuild Cinder, and then deal with them after their usefulness runs out. Lillith is taking point on that."
Desseer turns to Myriana, "That's the main thing I wanted you to know. Zerasha is Lillith of Dragon's Glory. I think you two will get along well. I haven't dealt with Roth yet. I was just going to use him as a figurehead. That just leaves the Craterlord of the Guild District, Rukar. He is known to be sneaky and spy oriented. I was planning on dealing with that myself so that we don't cause too much destruction in that district. Not having to rebuild the craft district is preferable. As you are interested in taking the Cinder project, decision making is yours, as far as I'm concerned, the Lady of Cinder Myriana. What would you like me to do?"
Kenyu Evians
Kenyu senses she has been heard and casually drops invisibility, her regal form appearing in a flash as the illusion fades. Her blue hair sways in an unseen wind as a gentle light from her divine blessings illuminates her form.
She smiles at the trio in front of her brightly before looking at John, “Hello I am Kenyu, a member of dragons glory. You must be someone from this other guild I heard we have allied with. It is a pleasure to meet you. I apologise for the illusion but I suspect your vampiric friend would not appreciate my presence so I had remained hidden. I hope I didnt cause any offense.”
She will turn to Thorin and Hrothgarn before saying, “So do you still plan to go to the asmodean temple and gather the priests? If you don’t mind I will accompany you, my presence alone should sharpen your skills at negotiating and other matters if you need it. And steel your minds against lies, which I suspect will be especially of use against those priests. Shall we proceed?”
Now that she has revealed herself, both her guild mates can get the morale bonus from her presence. Also if you make a skill check and fail, she will use gallant inspiration to give you a retroactive 2d4 bonus to hopefully make you succeed. You can use it whenever, I will just deduct it from her spell slots whenever it is used
Warlord John Morgrave Sorbin

He continues to smile, as his eyes focus on you and over you. "Warlord John Morgrave Sorbin... at your service as your allies. There is no offense taken. I understand. I am merely a pawn amongst giants."
Myriana
When it was pointed out to her Myriana realzied she understood her confusion now. The difference between reality and the VR world was enough to throw her off, especially with the differences in her perception without vampiric senses anymore. She was never close to RARGHG as Myriana was not one for fighting, her specialty had always been more towards spying and manipulation than combat, so they hadn't interacted much.
The sudden promotion of Myriana to Lady of Cinder made Myriana jump in the air as she punched up and said, "Yatta nya! I'm a Lady nyaow nya!" She flapped her wings in the air as she turned to look at RARGH and Dominique and said, "My first decree is take the dueling outside the city nya! Quit damaging the inyafrastructure nya!"
Settling back down to the ground Myriana what Deseer had explained the situation as far as the craterlords went was and nodded in agreement, "Yes, please deal with Rukar nya. If nyascessary remove the problem nya but if he canya be turnyaed thenya so much the better nya. My target was dealt with anyad there was little to no damage nya. A lot of people nyaeed to have their sight restored nya. I'm working onya a spell for that nya but it will be a few days nya."
With the arrival of the others from their allied guild Myriana's eyes were largely drawn to Kenyu as she saw the gorgeous woman. "Ohhhh, she's pretty, maybe too pretty, but that's alright nya." She took a step forward through a crack in space and appeared right in front of Kenyu as she leaned in and rubbed her ears against the woman's chest while her tails swished happily.
Desseer Arnalc
Desseer smiles warmly at Myriana's excitement. He then holds up his hands to dampen, "Firstly, you have already been special. Second, this is as it pertains to our guild, I cannot speak for Dragon's Glory. While it isn't dire, you should speak to Lillith about it."
"I will take care of Rukar as I was going to Zerasha. I have yet to deal with Roth, would you like me to, or do it yourself?"
"Lastly, I would presume to leave Jav for you. She has started the process of logistical coordination, so she may as well continue. However, unless you insist, I will take Jorlane's guy."
Myriana
Having had whatever fantasies had her rubbing her ears against a non-existent something popped Myriana nodded and said, "That sounyads good Deseer-sanya. What are your planyas for both of them? I donya't care if they live or die nya but if it seems they canya be turnyaed they could be useful nya."
Turning her thoughts to Jave and Jorlane's guy Myriana said, "That sounyads good nya." She looked to Ink then and asked, "Would you keep anya eye on thinyags around her nya? The remainyainyag crater lords might get desperate anyad try to attack before we come for them nya."
Desseer Arnalc
Desseer nods, "Turning enemies into allies or useful tools is simplistically ideal. The problem comes in doing so too often. You could easily be creating a force of enemies that can be your undoing. And, even worse, ones that have easy access to you when you are vulnerable. I'm not opposed, but please be careful. As for my plans for them," Desseer continues, "It really depends on Rukar. I originally planned on using a trio of previous Craterlords to run Cinder. Two that knew of each other and ran overtly. The third would be one of the spy oriented Craterlords that kept an eye on things, namely the other two. The two would not know of the third. Lilith can pretty easily fulfill the third in the plan, but not in a way that I had hoped..."
He looked at the others realizing that he had started rambling. "Sorry," he apologized with a head dip. "Roth can still be useful, he just needs to be..encouraged." Desseer shrugs, "Rukar is a wild card. I don't know anything about him except where he probably is. If it is your desire that I attempt more of a turn than kill, I definitely can do that." He pauses for a couple moments in hesitation before continuing, "But, I will say, if I determine that he cannot be trusted, I will be more inclined to kill him." He pauses again, closes his eyes, and takes a deep breath. With a smile he says evenly, "Though, this is now your project and so I will do as you request." With a playful smile and nod he adds, "Lady."

“We regroup with our people, then return to the temple and put the clergy to work where they can actually help. Stabilize the wards, tend the wounded, keep panic from turning into looting.” A brief pause. “Kenyu, if you’re willing to walk with us, your presence will be useful, especially where words matter more than force. We’ll need clear heads before steel.”
He glanced between Thorin and Kenyu, “If either of you see a better angle before we move, I would like to know. I’d rather hear it now than fix it later.”
Then, to John, evenly: “And John, if you’re here to smooth edges, keep pace. We’re not standing still.”

Myriana considered what Desseer revealed of his intentions and Myriana finally nodded in agreement. "That sounyads good nya. I will trust your judgmenyat nya."
Kenyu Evians
She thinks for a short while before shaking her head, “I have no other suggestions about our course. So we go to meet Dom and then go to the temple to acquire the aid of the priests. Do you know where he is? I wandered off earlier so i am not sure where he is.”
Desseer Arnalc
Desseer closes the front door to the house-base, turns to walk, and then stops.
Myriana has got this, right?..Of course she does...the whole thing with the other guild...Yeah, she's got it...And, you can't be everywhere all the time...At some point, relying on others was inevitable...Ugh, being in charge sucks...Why do some people want this so much?..Because of the benefits...and, most are bad at it...so it isn't hard for them...Speaking of benefits...should I be taking advantage of those benefits?..But there's no time...There's so much to do...I've got to finish here in Cinder...then go back and report to the Adventurer’s Guild...Probably get tested for a higher rank...Should I get tested?..Hmm...Probably nit, actually...While knowing where stand on this world would be helpful, others knowing could be bad...Yeah...I should avoid that...for now, at least...I mean, if casting third level spells is uncommon...I wonder if it is a level issue, or an ability issue?..If level... that seems unlikely...But, they are NPCs...Maybe they can't gain levels...I haven't gained a level...I don't think...Is it possible to gain levels?..That is something I really need to find out...Maybe not number one priority, but it is up there...
Desseer blinks after statue-ing for several seconds. He looks around, reminding himself where he is, and starts a little jog. With a fluid motion, he crouches and then launches himself into the air with his legs and wings.
Sanders had worked a lot on this launch off when the game was just a game. He would record the launch a few different ways, watch back, see how it worked with his outfit, adjust, and then record again. His hair also quickly became an obvious factor, so the angle of his head became important too. Now, after practicing it a great many times, he didn't even think about it when he did it. This left his mind to consider a multitude of thoughts as he flew into the sky toward the 'three story brick building' in the Guild District.

"Whatcha drinking?" he asks casually as he enters from the porch.

“We’ll check in, take stock of what they’ve stirred up, then head for the temple while the district’s still listening.”
A glance back to Kenyu, steadier now.
“Stay close. Things tend to change once people realize help’s actually coming.”

Grand Lodge Hrothgarn :
Warlord John Morgrave Sorbin
|
He would guide you to the HQ if you wish...
Down the path, those in the street or watching it would eventually see John return with several very unique individuals. Please describe yourselves.
Desseer Arnalc
Desseer chuckles, "Yeah, that was the purpose of the chaos. I figured there would be knowledgeable and clever people like you who know the value of knowing what's going on and who is doing what. That would make you harder to deal with. So, I essentially incapacitate you and then deal with you later." He takes a sip and then shrugs, "And now, it is later."
Desseer lets that sit as he shifts to a more comfortable position. When he continues he speaks in a comforting way, "Now, before you drink yourself to death because you think I'm going to kill you, hear me out. I don't necessarily want you dead. This is the other reason I left you until now. I want you to do your subterfuge intelligence thing for me." After delivering the offer, Desseer stares hard at Rukar.

With Deseer on his way out Myriana shook her head when Dominique asked if she needed anything else and said, "Nyao Dominyaique-sanya, I canya't thinyak of anyathinyag else nya." She let Dom go with that and turned her focus to Ink when he spoke to her and responded to the ooze, "Alright thenya Inyak-san, just keep me apprised nya." With all of that out of the way she decided to go check on Iris and headed towards their room where she assumed Iris was resting.
