Salim nods and with a simple car simply takes the quill and signs the third and fourth contracts. He would ask for some healing so that he would be better if need be.
“If there is nothing else that is needed then, thank your for the opportunity. I am excited to see where this takes all of us.”
See discussion for my next few days.

"The Templars of the Five winds..." Grim wondered aloud, frowning in concenctration. "I think I've heard tales of such heroes, a long time ago...
"Has anyone heard of a 'Pale Mountain'? I believe they won a great victory there, and it should be in this region somewhere."
Aukan the Goliath
Aukan walks over and whispers to his Dwarven ally, "We were in Pale Mountain..."
Aukan the Goliath
Aukan busies himself with a hexagonal shape, playing with the runes and trying to find the way in.
He would play chess, a game he just recently learned, or dice with anyone that asked.

Since the corsair took to the sky and the whole trip she can't be found.
Nima Lily
At noon she creates one sort or another of a flame and prays. She even sings in Ignan.
Most of the trip she can be found in her cabin reading books and doing research on something.
Sasha Line
She is seen most of the trip in the rigging of the ship, looking for tears and loose ropes. Besides her there is the captain and a few servants who fulfill the guests' wants. Oh and the cook but he stays in the kitchen most of the day. You might wonder how it runs with so few crew.
Davod Mohidoon
Davod walks the decks, interacting with the crew and enjoying the ride.
Tiesa
After purchasing a harvesting license, Tiesa employs a large team of fifty laborers to pick the pesh fields clean over the three days before their journey. With her cargo safely loaded on the corsair, she spends the journey either smoking pesh, quietly observing the others (more Detect Thoughts), or actively asking the original party members (Aukan, Grim, and Vivi—though maybe not so much Grim, given his seemingly poor memory) about their adventures freeing Kelmarane and cleansing the House of the Beast.
Spent 65 gp for harvesting license and 50 laborers working for 3 days to harvest pesh

"I think we both know that even my subconscience will 'breeze' the results of a dice match ... but I would relish a chance to battle you once again on the chess field my friend."
Grimoin Al'Thorrak
Grim signed the third contract, and the confidentiality codicil.
“Not sure if ya ‘member me, but ya helped me out at the Nightstalls a few years ago. Still much obliged, and glad to see we’re going on an expedition together. Wonder if ya might help me with a few more contracts when we’re done here?”
Grim nodded at Tiesa.
"I'm grateful I was of aid and assistance. Of course I will be happy to assist you in any contractual matters." Grim replied courteously. After listening to Aukan, Grim raised his eyebrows.
"THAT was Pale Mountain? I don't think I ever heard the name while we were there; I just thought of it as the Gnoll base." He said.

He says with a merry attitude, "Indeed! Have at ye!" He thinks his first move and the pawn moves itself. Though Aukan likely loses badly he has a good time playing, especially enjoying how the chess pieces move and attack one another. Yes he has a set of Wizard's Chess! Then the board resets itself and Aukan asks, "Another or would you like to wait until after lunch?"
---
Quietly he tells what little he knows, "There are many mountains in that range and it would take a week or two on foot should we return by that route. Though the Pale Mountain's peak does go higher than most of the others. Upon it was the base of the Carrion King. A leveled dungeon."

Yeah, we heard Pale mountain, thought a bunch of diseases waiting and loaded up on disease prevention which didnt do anything when my squad went in. I was shadow based on that point, that went ok, then that gunslinger idiot accidentally discharged, alerting half the complex and it went downward from there. Thanks for the rescue!
She smiles,
Anyone up for some sparring?
Davod Mohidoon
Smiling, Davod merely states, "Sorry, Lady Vladimirovna. I do not 'spar', I only kill. Beg pardons."

"When was the last time I waited for anything!? I borrowed money I didn't even need specifically to forestall being bored before we left! Let's raise the stakes: loser serves lunch for the winner!"
GM Wolf
If you are on the corsair before Tiesa, you would see her come to the ship with about 50 workers. Each with a laden bag over their shoulders. 50 bags of the stuff each with about 10 pounds of material. Just an estimate, let me know if you think this is too much or not enough.
Leaving the bags on the corsair and leaving each collects a bag of coins from Tiesa, obviously happy.

He simply replies to Djyn, "Sounds good!" As they finish he asks, "How do you want to be served, velocity or piece by piece?!" He obviously was thinking more about how to serve as opposed to winning.
Later on she walks over to Vivi and asks, "What do you want to spar with?!"

Looking at the horizon on the eighth day you see Katapesh in the distance. The corsair takes the long route around to the water and lands in the water to appear as a simpler ship. By then it is far past dusk and the night covered their descent.
Several carriages are waiting for your group. The carriages take you to the compound unless you request a different location. It is planned that the next day you will head over to Rylan's manor. There are many rooms in the compound, ten in total. Four on the ground floor and six on the second floor. Will you take a room towards the front or back. There is a courtyard of meditation sands in the back. There are twenty foot walls that surround the compound. There is a five foot walkway along the wall. The back of the compound has a ditch or more so a moat without any water for 50 feet. Beyond is a steep wall which goes up a good 150 feet.
Which room would you like to stay in and what do you do for the few hours left of night and the wee hours of the day?
Davod Mohidoon
Davod thanks his host, and takes one of the rooms on the second floor. It is elegantly furnished, like the rest of the compound. What excites the desnan the most was the rich, tall bed he'll be allowed to sleep on.
If given time, Davod takes a quick but relaxing morning nap on the plush bed.
Tiesa
After ensuring that her merchandise is secure, Tiesa selects a quiet bedroom on the second floor in the back, overlooking the courtyard. She whiles away the last few hours of the evening by strolling around the compound, peering into the thoughts of any guards she meets, then retiring to her room for a peaceful smoke. In the early morning she smokes some more pesh and leafs through her grimoire, preparing her spells for the day.

Jyn will take a room all the way to the back, surrounded by as much shadow as possible; he doesn't want anyone to see he & Zephyr coming and going. He wants to make at least one night flight around the city, it has been many years wince his last visit. He also wants to get street food somewhere ...

Salim takes the time on the trip to relax and spends most of the time listening and engaging in little bits of small talk asking servants, or even some of the other members of the expedition where they’re from or what drew them to Kelmarane in the first place. Overall his mood is generally good, but as Katapesh comes into view he grows less happy. Eventually settling into a rather quiet and contemplative attitude.
Once in the manor he prefers to take a room on the second floor, near the meditation sands and spends an hour there at night simply staring up at the stars, he would draw in the sand some of the constellations he saw as well. In the morning he’d spend an hour there simply sitting and relaxing watching the sunrise.

Who is awake at the wee hours of the day? Is there anyone out back at this time?
Haha! Certainly not Davod. The suli thief was arms deep in Desna's bossom, fast asleep.
Tiesa
Tiesa sleeps soundly through the whole night, getting the full eight hours of rest that every wizard needs to properly function. Her nocturnal familiar, on the other hand, fluctuates between cat napping, prowling around the bedroom, and peering intently out the window.
It’s impossible for Tiesa or her cat to make that Perception check. I’d be very impressed if anyone even has the +25 Perception modifier needed to even have a chance to succeed.

Jyn is out until "last call" happens here in Katapesh; he wants to get something to eat whereever the drunk people go. As an outsider, Zephyr does not need to eat or sleep (GM please feel free to use him in any way that is helpful while Jyn is sleeping).
Zephyr amir
The book floated gently to the floor as the Zhyen flew over to rouse his master; they had gotten home not all that long ago, but he knew that Jyn was tired from flying around Katapesh all night.
He shoved Jyn's shoulder while very quietly whispering, "Master! Master! Wake!! There is something on the roof!"
A burst of aether blew the bedding off the bed as Jyn awoke with quite a start; something was very wrong. "Lead, I will fly after you. Out the window, they won't expect us from the outside of the manor."
They quietly flew out the open window, and up above the roofline to see what was causing the noise Zeph had heard.

You think what I am thinking Sis?
That you didnt actually do any sparring?
That this room is way to nice and some assassins or whatever are going to happen.
True, what do you suggest?
Vivi rolls up some bundles of roughly her size, and puts a fake Vivi on the bed. She herself sleeps below it.
Only time I was good at laying traps was when the Succubus was inside, the Erinye was bad at it too. She muses
Alert traps are OK for Gorrum, anything else denies fights
Vivi would still be asleep, under the bed, with a fake Vivi on it.

Salim would be watching the sunrise in a quiet meditation relaxing.
I do not have +25 so unless heavy modifiers I can’t make it. I’ll roll none the less.
