Relieved when he killed the crab holding on to Khamsin, Ala'Ihys Shifts his knees turning the mount up and away, "Blast" Cursing as the second crab wounds Khamsin as he rises away from the melee.
Surprised by the fire, he hopes the folks inside are safe as he realizes that Davod is still being perused by two of the crabs. Shifting his knees he turns Khamsin over and down, 30 ft up He quickly fires both arrows at the yellow crab.

So I'm a little confused on the round count. Killing the first crab and Khamsin flying into the air was round 1. Ala'Iys firing two awful shots was round 2. So Round 3? How many rounds at a time do you want Ala'Ihys and Khamsin doing?
Hearing Nima ask about healing, Ala'Ihys calls to his fellow Sarenite, as they maintain their distance from the crabs. "Khamsin is wounded. I normally do not ride him in combat." As they flew around the crab attacking Aukan, Ala'Ihys fires two more arrows at the yellow giant crab. "I wish I'd had time to find a light enough armor for him to wear in flight But the Dawn Flower had said to leave immediately."

End of combat, that is until round 13...
ok
As the combat comes to an end and Nima does as Pharos instructs, Ala'Ihys lands Khamsin near Nima. Remebering what she'd said about healing, he dismounts his trusty mount. Points at the wounds from the crab. "He was clawed here and here, are you still willing to heal him?"
Raising an eyebrow at Pharos offer, Ala'Ihys had grown up in the desert and wasn't familiar with a lot of sea food. Not wanting to offend his new companions, he nodded towards Davod. "I eat meat, though Khamsin does not." Reaching out towards Pharos, he asked double checking. "The crabs were not sentient, right?"
Davod Mohidoon
Davod chuckles. "I don't know, Friend Ala'lhys. I did not ask!"

In a mock squealing voice, she utters, "No please dddont eat me!" She laughs, takes a bite and tears out some more.

With Khamsin all healed up she brushes his hair with her hand and pats him before joining in on the meal. She sits next to Ala’Ihys and asks, "Why do you serve the flame?"
Ala’Ihys the Archer

Still slightly bleeding from his wounds, Khamsin tosses his head up and down at Nima's question. Whinnying loudly as she heals him. Taking to the air Khamsin leaves Ala'Ihys in the company of the other humanoids.
Meanwhile, Ala'Ihys, hearing Nima's question about serving the Dawnflower, is relieved to change the topic from eating possibly sentient creatures to something else. Turning to the white-haired priestess, he considers the question. Shrugging lightly, "My mother follows the 'Dawnflower' as does most of her tribe. So, I've always been familiar." Pausing for a moment, he gestures towards his arrows, indicating he wanted to gather them. Hoping the pale skinned woman would follow, as he pulls an arrow from a crab he continues. "When I was younger, I found myself in a situation where I owed Her a life debt and realized the only way to do that was to serve Her." He pauses, cleaning off the tip of the arrow before he returns it to his quiver. "Now that I've gotten to know her, I don't think I could Imagine my life being lived any other way."
Taking the time to gather the arrows he'd fired, Ala'Ihys eventually returns to the others, asking, "Shall we press on to the fleece?"
Davod Mohidoon
The suli wipes his face of crab juice. "Yes. This was a wonderful repast", Davod says, as he holds in a loud burp. "Thank you Lady Pharos for the food, and Lady Nima for the heals."

Well Ala'lhys do you think Nima can fit on your pegasus with you when we move out from the fleece? Sasha and I can stay on the ground and trip up anything that is on the ground. Davod has his carpet. All 60 of his arrows are durable, the 'normal' 20 he wears in his quiver, the 40 'exotic' are in quivers on the saddle pommel. At 40 ft from the fleece, I'm assuming we are close enough to the fleece to walk, so not remounting.
As they pick up the durable arrows, Ala'Ihys raises an eyebrow at Nima's question. Unable to tell if she is serious or just testing his knowledge, he answers. "The Dawnflower is the title my tribe prefer to use for Sarenrae." he pauses, bowing his head, "May You keep them in Your grace." He looks back up, smiling, slightly embarrassed, "We were taught as children her name is Holy and to only use it in prayer."
He continues moving to the next crab drawing out his arrows, as the conversation turns to Khamsin, he nods. "Khamisin is..." he pauses for a moment remembering the transformation, "Or was, a blood steed from my tribe, trained to fend for themselves in the wild, but to come when called." He furrowed his brow, realizing that was not exactly the correct term. "Well, when whistled for." He smiles looking towards the direction the Pegasus had flown. "I assume he'll continue to do the same, he's not been a Pegasus all that long. When The Dawnflower called me to come to you, she turned him from horse to Pegasus, a true miracle." Finding the last of the arrows stuck in the ground where he'd missed the crab, he tucks it into the quiver. "I shall stay near you, if it is the rear, it is in the rear." He gestures again the direction Khamsin flew off. "Khamsin is not afraid, he will fight if needed." Turning back towards the cleric, "But I loathe putting him in harm's way unarmored. Once we return to civilization, I may search for a proper suit of chain for him."
As they begin to join the others he hears Sasha cry out, resisting Davod's amorous approach. Reaching out, he touches Nima's arm, drawing closer he leans in. "Is there a problem? Does the rogue often approach women in such an offensive way that they must cry out against him?"
Hearing Aukan's question Ala'Ihys turns from the priestess answering the giant, "When we leave Nima should be able to ride with me, However, in the fight, I shall stay dismounted. As Khamsin is unarmored I'd rather not put him in harms way. With your permission I will stay near Nima, firing into combat and protecting her from any threats."
Hearing Vivi say something about a sand alligator and Davod chiming in about snakes in the coins, Ala'Ihys steps in front of Nima slightly and draws an arrow quickly nocking it.

She says the name slowly to make sure she is saying it correctly, "Sa-ren-Rae?" With the correct pronunciation she seems to giggle then explains, "I did not know the flame had a name. Thank you for this Alyhis! Now it seems I will be able to praise her more properly."
As he talks about getting chain for his mount, she offers, "Tomorrow make a wish with Alexandria to have up to a magical suit of chain armor for him up to 25,000 gold in value."
"No, look at Sasha's face. She is likely having a good ole time and just covering up what he really said. She is a sly one. Oh you likely didn't know, Sasha and Alexandria are my sisters."
Aukan the Goliath
"Ah excellent! Yes that sounds just great!" He calls back to Alyhys.

Smiling as Nima said Her name, it amazed Ala'Ihys all the different ways the Dawnflower called her children. Blushing slightly, he realized he really hadn't done anything that deserved thanks, he gives a light bow. "It was truly my pleasure Nima." He wanted to blurt out that his mother was a devout worshiper and he'd grown up hearing all the stories. That his father a merchant prince wanted him to serve Abadar but his mother insisted he be named after the Dawnflowers own father. Getting his excitement under control, he simply added, "I I may be of any more assistance please let me know."
----------------
Raising an eyebrow when she commented about making a wish to Alexandria, Ala'Ihys looked towards the muscular woman with golden skin and flaming hair. He had assumed she was Genie-kin, possibly with an Efreeti somewhere in her ancestry, but he never would have guessed she could grant wishes. Knowing truly little about Genie's he wondered what the cost or the outcome might be.
----------------
As Nima whispered back he looked towards Sasha's face, trying to see the humor that the Sulis saw. Pausing when she confessed that the three of them were sisters, he nodded. He had not known, and that would explain a lot about the way they had been interacting with each other. It reminded him of his two sisters at home. Nodding he smiles. "I have two sisters, that explains a lot."

The roper is an ambush hunter. Capable of altering the coloration and shape of its body, a roper in hiding looks remarkably like a stalagmite of stone or ice (or in low-ceilinged chambers, a stony or icy pillar). In areas without such features to hide among, a roper can compress its body into a much more squat, boulder-like shape. The strands it extrudes are not flesh but a thick, semiliquid material similar to partially melted wax but with the strength of an iron chain and the ability to numb flesh and sap strength. The roper can manipulate these strands with great finesse, and can fling them as far as 50 feet to snatch objects that attract its attention.
Although alien and monstrous in shape, the roper is in fact one of the most intelligent denizens of the deep caverns of the world. They do not form large societies (although ropers can be found living among some deep-dwelling denizens like the intellect devourers or neothelids, with whom they have been known to sometimes ally), but often congregate in small clusters. Particularly interested in the philosophy of life and death and the finer points of the more cruel and sinister religions of the world, a roper can talk or argue for hours with those it initially sought merely to eat. Stories speak of particularly skilled debaters and philosophers who have been kept for days or even years as pets or conversational companions by roper clusters, but in the end, if such pets don’t eventually escape, a roper’s appetite always wins out over its intellectual curiosity—especially in cases where pets are constantly outmaneuvering their keeper’s wits and patience.
