"Awww. We're sorry to hear that. Haven't you been able to fix it back up? Do you mind if we fix it instead on behalf of Kupyn? And sure enough, what she did is not good, we will tell her that her being old does not give her a pass to knock other's things because she is angry." Sif tells her consolingly.

Sif only has Athletics +3. Would repair with Crafting +7 possible?

![]() |

Crafting: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Sif takes a look at their broken castle and inspects it to know what needs to be repaired. She then begins working on it with the materials that can be salvaged from the broken castle and some resources that can be used to strengthen it. "How about that?" she asks after sweating herself out repairing the castle.

GM Ash |

After watching Sif, take look at that rubble that was Brownies Castle. The witch is about to feel how the structure was built and laid out. Sif, takes the first log, and begins to place in the north corner, then the south, the west, and then the east. Building on that foundation, the rest is easy. After an hour and half. The task is complete, Nelia is cheered up and bows most gracefully to the group, she then claps her hands. Five brownies bring the scallions, to the group and then she says We are pleased, here are the scallions that are needed. We will be in attendance for Winter’s Week. Thank you once again. She bows and then returns to her court.
The party then proceeds to get the potatoes, traveling to the next direction.
A small mining compound sits just at the foot of the Hollow Hills. Several dwarves sit outside eating lunch. Hanging above the entrance is the sign “Steim Mine: Our Roots Run Deep.”
At the head of the table sits a venerable dwarf with a flowing white beard spilling over his mining leathers. ”Hello there. Here for ore or potatoes? If it’s the former, you’re in luck. If it’s the latter, there might be a problem.”
Anyone can attempt this challenge, please try to post by Monday.

Augustus bids farewell to the Brownies, thanking them for the scallions.
Arriving at the mines, the prof looks around and takes a few notes of the surroundings.
"Hello, good sir. Alas, we come for potatoes for the winter's week rock stew! Is there anything we can do?"

![]() |

Still hanging on to the fluffy Darb for confidence, Bitty starts getting excited. "Egg, I think I'm getting the hang of this adventuring thing! I have an adventuring party! And I've talked to farmers and fairies! Me!"
She waves farewell to the Brownies, and then curtsies to the dwarves. "P-please? We don't want to disappoint everyone coming for the Winterweek celebration." Then she pauses a moment to listen to Egg. "Egg says you have the nicest beards Egg has ever seen."

![]() |

Sif smiles at the brownies and their queen, seeing them happy with the newly-repaired castle, and they have acquired the scallions they needed. She bids them goodbye before continuing their search for the other ingredients. She walks next to Darb this time, though cautious the pup might snack on her owl familiar perching on her shoulder. She even secretly listens to what she is saying behind her whispers. She is actually curious about who is the Egg she is talking about. She hasn't been listening anyway to her talk, or it just slipped her mind if ever the sylph gnome mentioned it. "So who is Egg?" she asks away because she might not sleep on it if she does not learn who Egg is.

![]() |

"Oh no! Didn't I introduce you? Sif, meet Egg." Bitty shows Sif the enormous light blue speckled dinosaur egg that is poking out of the top of her backpack. "Isn't Egg beautiful? And such a good listener! Egg is my best friend... And was the first to join our adventuring party!"
Bitty is going for Beastmaster Dedication at Level 2, when Egg will hatch into her own little dino friend and flanking buddy.

![]() |

"Oh..." Sif is somewhat surprised to see a dinosaur egg. She wonders where Bitty got it but she does not ask. And where on Earth Golarion could she possibly steal it?! her mind is asking, but realizing what she is thinking she hopes that she does not look like she is doubting Bitty has gotten it legally somewhere. "How did you meet?" She just blurts out after Egg is shown to her, hesistant to even touch it.
She is too carried over by their egg conversation that she almost forgets that they have potatoes to get for Kupyn. "Oh, yes, sorry about that." she tells the dwarf. "Kupyn asked us to get some potatoes from you, she will be adding it as one of the ingredients of the rock stew she will be making for the Winter Week."

GM Ash |

Jaget Steim, the dwarf family patriarch, a elderly dwarf leaning on a stick. “ Well had promised, the potatoes, Kupyn. She was supposed to bring me a tincture, to help my joints See that she sent you. By any chance do you have the, tincture or do any of you know how to heal?”
He looks at each of you with a smile.
I need a medicine check or a nature check as long as you healing tool with you. You can also simply cast heal or provide a healing potion. Sorry for not answering so fast. I have been sick.

![]() |

Yes, Soothe can be used to heal.

![]() |

Before with Sif:
"I found Egg in the Kaava lands in the Mwangi Expanse. The gripplis there raise dinosaurs for defense. It was love at first sight!"
Bitty leaves unclear whether she stole Egg from the aforementioned gripplis, or asked for it outright.
Now:
Bitty also comes out and looks over the old dwarf's joints.
Medicine: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
"When Grandma Beryl gets joint pain, I massage the joints like this." Bitty says, massaging the sore joint.

GM Ash |

The small song of Soothe, that Summer hums, while waving their hand in intricate manner. Begins to take form over Jaget, the soft silver light, brings a warmth both mentally and physically to the old dwarf. After, few seconds the group of Pathfinders see the old dwarf smile. By Torag, that feels so much better. Jaget says he stretches out his knees. Thasper, run done to the store room and get the potatoes and the flasks.. A young redhead dwarf runs down the small hallway, after a minute or two, young Thasper returns and hands the bag of potatoes to Summer. I have something else for you as well. Jaget says. Thasper hands over a four flasks, to Bitty. These flake contain, special properties, use them wisely.
The group is ready to return to Kupyn house, any conversations along the way? .

![]() |

Bitty takes the flasks. "Ooh, special spices! We'll see you back at Kupyn's for Rock Stew!"
Can Bitty tell what the flakes contain?
"So... We're all done! It's time to make the meal and then relax! Are you tallfolk as hungry as I am?"

![]() |

Augustus seems to be in wonder before Sumner's spell and its effect.
"Surely, that was... the perfect spell! Well done, my dear."
Turning towards the dwarf, he bows.
"Thank you very much, master Jaget!"
Like Bitty, he turns his attention towards the flasks.
"Any idea on what they contain? Healing magic, perhaps?" he says to the young gnome with a crooked smile.

![]() |

Sif waits for Bitty to tell how she obtained Egg from the gripplis but there is no answer about it. She doesn't dare to ask anyway, thinking the gnome might be offended. "Well, that is good for the both of you." she tells her.
After they have obtained the potatoes and given flasks with contents with some sort of something with special properties, she asks if she can take a look at it. "Let me see."
Crafting +7 about the contents of the flasks, if it helps.

GM Ash |

Sif learns that these flasks, as she opens one smells of strong acid. She then puts too back in the flask she holds. As the group make their way to Kupyn’s cottage, they hear a yelp from inside. Kupyn’s cottage is brightly colored, with a thatched roof and tall chimney merrily puffing smoke into the brisk air. Yet as you get close, the house begins to rumble and quake.
The front door spills opens. Numerous tiny cobblestones pour out—no ordinary rocks. They all have open mouths with gleaming sharp teeth.
finish up replies to conversations, then tell me what skill outside of perception you may want to use for initiative, also this the last encounter of the bounty.

![]() |

"Eep! I don't think those rocks want to be made into stew!"
Bitty is avoiding notice with a Stealth of +7

![]() |

Sif might want to identify them with Nature +4 / Arcana +7 / Occultism +7.
"Does Kupyn want us to eat those or what?" Sif asks herself after hearing Bitty exclaim about the rocks with teeth.

![]() |

I will roll the highest among them then.
Arcana: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Hero Point: Arcana: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

GM Ash |

Sif looks at the what appears to be swarm, of stones flying in small cyclone. She seems to know that they are related to the some sort of summoning gone wrong. The stone swarms are aggressive.
some of you maybe used to combat a certain way. I prefer to let player roll for initiative.
Here is the order I am building.
Sif 14
Augustus: 14 (Perception)
Bitty needs to roll stealth
Summer needs to roll with a + 2 from Scouting ahead.
Once I get those I begin combat.

![]() |

Bitty delays for Inspire Courage.
◈ Interact to draw Rock Solvent
◈ Throw Rock Solvent, I.C.: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 7 + 1 = 19
Persistent Acid Damage plus 1 splash: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
◈ Interact to draw rapier.

![]() |

”Someone must have wrongfully summoned them! They must be eliminated at once!” Sif declares and attempts to detect where is the source of magic coming from after which she draws her staff.
◆◆ Cast a Spell, Detect Magic
◆ Interact to draw weapon

![]() |

oh wow, I was not ready to see a swarm so soon xD
The good professor tries to recall if he ever saw or read about such a creature ! He then weaves a protective enchantement on himself and tries to hide behind Sumner. oh brave sir Robin!
◈ Recall knowlege (do I let you roll?)
◈ Cast Shield
◈ Hide Stealth: 1d20 ⇒ 14
@GM: for some reason, Pathbuilder didn't fully export the character sheet. I'll put on my profile the spells memorized for today. Sorry about that.

![]() |

Sumner falters a bit at first, just wondering what the heck he has gotten into. But then he readies his weapon and shield, and begins to sing a hymn for his allies. (He is much better at this song than the rock stew one.)
◆ Draw longsword
◆ Raise shield
◆ Inspire Courage

GM Ash |

Augustus that’s fine.
Bitty digs in satchel and pulls out the rock solvent & then throws the rock solvent at the Cobblestone Swarm, causing one side to melt, as the acid burns into it. Bitty notices the solvent did more damage than expected. She then, pulls her rapier, desiring to protect Egg.
Sif concentrates and while pulling their weapon. The Cobblestone Swarm seems to be magical as well the Cauldron.
Professor Augustus takes the better part of valor and recalls from his minds the Shield spell, then steps behind Summer. The Professor ever so curious knows that these creatures are aberrations.
Summer pulls theirs shield & sword as they sing hymn about the Last Walk Knights. Everyone begins to feel inspired.
The Swarm moves to where Summer is and the Rocks begins to pound both Summer and the Power Professor.
one action to move and one action for attack
I need Ref save from Summer and Augustus.

![]() |

"Egg thinks you should leave the swarm so that we can throw more rock solvent!"
Bitty delays for her companions to get out of the swarm.
◈ Interact to draw Rock Solvent
◈ Throw Rock Solvent, I.C.: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 7 + 1 = 19
Persistent Acid Damage plus 1 splash, I.C.: 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 1 = 3
"Or grab some more rock solvent from me if you need to do so!"
◈ Interact to draw another rock solvent and offer it to one of her teammates.

GM Ash |

The Cobblestone is not looking well as the both rock solvents hit the swarm. Whips of acid, fill the air as the battle continues.
Sif will move up to the swarm One Action, they swing with their staff with both hands at it. One Action 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 the staff contexts with swarm. 1d8 ⇒ 4 a piece of the swarm falls away. She swings again, One Action 1d20 + 3 - 5 ⇒ (19) + 3 - 5 = 17 hitting the swarm again, 1d8 ⇒ 8 the creature shatters and the cobble stones fall to the ground. Kupyn points to the cauldron, I think it’s about to make more !
I did the bot thing, She do really good. The acid damage did a lot to it. To be clear, the cauldron is the issue. How do you all want to proceed? We are still in combat order,

![]() |

Bitty approaches the cauldron, draconic tail twitching with dismay. "Eep! We need to fix it!" She looks to see if there are any misplaced runes or anything that she can fix.
Bitty has both nimble fingers (Thievery) and knowledge of magical things because of her draconic grandfather (Arcana). She also has Crafting because she was raised in a dwarven city.
She tries to put her nimble fingers to good use, looking for magical runes to manipulate.
If Thievery does not work, Arcana and Crafting are two less.
Thievery: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
◈ Stride
◈◈ Disable
