Also, I apologize for the delay. Every time I sit down to finish up my shopping and get his background up I end up pulled away from the PC. I will try and get this little guy finished up after work today. I also find shopping the be the hardest part of character creation. Even at low level there are so many wonderful mundane items.
What is the deadline anyone? I don't believe I have seen one posted.

@Constantine
You get to take half hp if you rolled crap. Rolling while leveling up should be fun as in "hej I can roll high!" without "I will gimp my character if I roll crap"
I did, that's how I ended up with 12 HP: 6 HP for L2 and L3. Constantine's sheet has the correct amount of HP.

Arcane Hellknight Signifer
Awesome, but what about an Oracle? A divine character who doesn’t get Channel Energy… my proposed PC is not an arcane caster.
(Also, I’m tracking that a couple of Mysteries give Channel Energy, but the majority don’t. I struggle to imagine a Life Oracle entering the Hellknight Orders…)

Storm Dragon |

If you want to be an Oracle specifically, have you considered not even bothering with Signifer? Oracles can simply take the Godclaw Mystery to gain most of the benefits of the Prestige Class but without affecting your base class progression.
Edit: Actually, I thought Signifer lost a caster level, but it doesn't, and fully progresses your Mystery anyway.
So if all you're worried about is not getting some of the benefits of Catachesis, that doesn't seem like a huge deal. Channeling to harm is...not exactly the most effective use of an action anyway.
But if you REALLY wanted it I think you could just Variant Multiclass with Cleric to get it.

Aurical |

Auri looked closely into the mirror. His reptilian yellow eyes blinking as he brushed a clawed hand over his brow. One eye still bore a discolored line of a scar atop it's brow. The color of the flesh there a milky white between his golden scales. It was the only physical reminder of his slavery and his tribes destruction. One he could never remove.
He could barely even remember the event in question. Having more vivid memories of silken skirts and leather collars after the slavers had sold him to a Mendevian noble's child. The abuse had been lighter then, the bratty noble unable to inflict lasting harm on him. Not that she hadn't tried. His features remained placid in the mirror, but his tail flitted about behind him at the minor anxiety.
He put aside the distraction of his flawed brow a moment to finish applying his oil. Kobolds took pride in their scales, and oiling them was a regular part of their hygiene. One thing he had learned was that bitterleaf oil, applied regularly, would not only help the luster of his scales. In theory it could keep him from shedding in perpetuity. It also smelled nice according to most people. Similar to coffee.
Once that was finished he took a moment to admire himself in the mirror. He counted it out in his head as he did so. There was a set amount of time for vanity, and unlike his oiling he could not keep the time unconsciously. This he would have to keep so as to remain on schedule. His entire day was planned, even the free time. He could not be late!
He quickly gathered his clothing that was laid on the bed, giving a pleased sigh as he held out his robes before him. The entire garment was made of pure white silk, trimmed in gold thread, with a stole that hung down either side of the chest and a matching belt. These adornments were of black silk with gold brocade featuring gold locks and shining cities. Hanging from his belt was a holy symbol of Abadar, a hanging key with a design of a city in it's head. He gave it a flick, another part of his everyday ritual that was factored into his time.
Then came his hat and jewelry. A ring for each index finger. Both black gold and highly detailed. The gem on one a multi-hued carnation that split it's facets between ruby red and floral pink. The different hues blending together in prefect order. Something that had magnified it's cost several fold. The other a flawless diamond that caught the light like a star. The felt top hat came next. It was angular to fit his kobold head better, but this also gave it a smart and unique appearance. A patterned black and gold colored body with a silk wrap around it's base. The wrap matched his robe's belt and stole. Gold brocade shining smartly with a hippogriff feather pinned into it.
He was rather proud of the hat. He had initially bought the robes to help mark him as a follower of Abadar and show off some of his newfound wealth after acquiring his freedom. The hat though, had given him his own distinct look. One that truly marked him as a citizen of Mendev and not simply a wayward kobold who worked with the clergy. At least in his mind.
Then came his adventuring gear. The muleback cord that he binded his shoulders with, and the first thing he purchased after his initial attempt at adventuring for the crusade. Having embarrassed himself with his mediocre ability to carry anything. He would not make that mistake again.
Then, of course, was his armor and shield. A chain shirt that was polished to a shine and washed with gold. A darkwood shield that featured the symbol of Abador painted in gold fleck on it's face. This was not just to help him stand out in a group of adventurers, but made him significantly harder to harm. Both things that had helped him play diplomat in his last outing.
To be honest, he had not had much luck finding crusaders willing to attach him to their groups lately. The agitation returned as he recalled some of the ill favor he had fallen into. While he looked the part of a good and lawful healer, he had gotten a stigma to his name. That he was greedy, even by the standards of Abadar. That he crusaded for coin more than to help others. As if the two things were mutually exclusive!
"Who am I to help if I remain poor?!" he asked as he turned back to the mirror. Thankfully he had a new job waiting for him. To serve the crusade, and the great queen Galfrey herself! This was his chance to truly rise to greatness and comfort. He had come a long way from being an ugly hatchling, a pitiful slave, and an indentured servant. Now he could do truly prestigious work for the crusade!
He wasn't entirely wrong.
I don't feel like I touched on all the finer points here, but exploring his relationship with the priest who bought him via some of his other knickknacks felt like it would take too long. Basically, he has numerous flavor items in his inventory that will likely serve as more ruminating on his backstory at some point. I can't believe I really spent hours shopping and handling his carrying capacity.
Assuming he gets chosen! Not everyone wants a kobold. Perhaps he would be the perfect fit for this group though. An ironic face for the misfits.

My personal headcanon is that random entities empowering kobolds is common, because few things are more hilarious then fouling up your rivals plans using a Kobold as your "Chosen".
I love finding unique combinations of underpowered mechanics that work well enough to become powerful. Often in ways that people never suspect.
I'm still scratching my head at the scaled disciple feat and what purpose it serves. There is little ability for a prepared caster or a spontaneous one to get the full benefit from the feat, and a kobold oracle wouldn't see much benefit from the stat increase of the class other than to make up for their racial deficiency...
Amusingly it does let you learn mage armor via the draconic bloodline, and that in turn can be boosted by the kobold's favored class bonus to oracle. So you could end up with barkskin and mage armor on an oracle that increases the armor and natural armor bonuses every four oracle levels. In other words, +8 armor from mage armor and +9 enhancement to natural armor with barkskin. Eventually. With magic vestment on your spell list as well.
You could, in theory, make a scaled fist 1/oracle 16/ dragon disciple 3 with an utterly absurd AC who is an 18th level caster.

Liliyashanina |

You can try and go for it, I generally prefer to keep most defensive stats within 10 of each other, obviously making adjustments if a character does not invest in f.e. AC at all.
My NPCs fight intelligently, and occassionally break the 4th wall.
I fondly remember having a Demon, who as made from the Souls of Soviet Political comissars, with the "Smite reactionary" ability, which unsurprisingly allowed him to smite everyone with the "reactionary" trait. Which happened to be all but one of the party. Great laughs were had.
Also:
You know these, "Charisma to everything under the sun and to AC twice" builds? So yeah, I managed to take one out with my favorite monster...
Drumroll, yes, its a Succubus, big surprise yesyes. The fair lady managed to land a charm spell on him, and then unleashed her most cunning ploy.
She had a wand with transfer armor, and promptly transfered her highly restrictive corset on the dashing Scaled-Fist/Oracle/Swashbuckler.
Completely nuking his AC, and several party members took a 1 on the will save vs the bout of laughter from "Minmaximus the untouchable Aasimar" suddenly wearing a corset. The party then stood by as the fair lady succesfully convinced him to consent being put into a bag of holding, because the fair lady couldnt teleport him "to a really wonderfull place" otherwise.
Note: the player wanted to switch to a not-completely-OP character and wanted to go out in a humorous but mostly RAW way.

I had a group of players who were gifted a 'DOOMS DAY WEAPON' On opening the box they found a small fluffy bunny with a label tag that said 'Doom's day weapon.' no less, just to prove the point. They went mad trying to work out how it was such. Kept it with the party for ages, long forgot they got into a number of scraps with a Demon, supper regenerative, and if killed it kept reincarnating. In desperation in their last fight with it, soon to die, and in desperation one of them thought the 'bunny of doom' at it. Bunny landed and promptly hopped toward the demon. Who took one look! and flattened it with its foot. The party not surprised, said to me, Haha joke gift after all. It was only when demon lifted it foot and found the bunny still there, they the party asked WTF?" Demon went mad and stamped in it for a full 10 round giving the party time to heal and rebuff. But the time the demon and tryed sward hits rocks, belly flops, fire. Every time, once the attack was over the bunny, was still there. Demon backed off and bunny followed, Demon ported to the abyss and demon followed. Demon tried every conceivable way to get rid of the Boony of doom to no avail. In the end it came back to the party BEGGING to make it stop. Its ears witching, its carrot munching sounds. The why it hopped and hopped and hopped. It was only then the party realized they had no idea how to turn the Bonny of doom oFF. So what they now had was a Demon following them around with a Bunny following it. Hahhhaaha. The looks from the players priceless.

Sigrat was deeply devoted to his Lordship, Arret Fal. It was the most honorable moment of his life when he was selected from all the men at arms in the Fal household to serve as the young lord's bodyguard. He was content to do his job, and do it well. He was a simple man, and took simple pleasure in a job well done.
Arret Fal was not a simple man. As he grew up, he lashed out at the world for his sickly disposition. Sigrat, spending all his time living at the young lord's side endured the worst of it. He tried to raise him like he was his own child, to reassure him, train him if he ased, but nothing that he did satisfied the younger Fal. As the child grew into a teen, he started experimenting with diabolic practices to stimulate his growth.
Sigrat was the only one that Arret confided in. He often sent Sigrat out to collect materials, and Sigrat gladly complied, happy to provide any satisfaction to his ward. He personally didn't really know all that much about that whole devil thing, but he didn't really care much either. He was a good worker, and that satisfied him.
Lord Fal was not subtle about his practices. It was inevitable that he would be discovered. He was a cruel and cowardly man, but he had a fondness for his patient manservant. Sigrat had an idea to save his charge from the inquisition; he would sacrifice himself by claiming to be the devil worshipper.
He allowed himself to be caught during one of his missions for his lord. Under torture, he refused to implicate his charge, and claimed the whole time that he was acting under his own volition. He fully expected to be executed. But Sigrat's ward still had fondness for his faithful manservant, and managed to convince the magistrate to exile him to the Worldwound again. Sigrat was touched; the little boy he had cared for had cared for him after all, despite his dreary disposition. He resolved he would survive the Worldwound to return to his ward. After all, Arret was the closest thing Sigrat had to a son, and Sigrat was the closest thing Arret had to a father. Twisted as it might be, Sigrat would do anything to return to the young lord's side.

I present: Agatha Caulshaper, Half-Orc Witch (Scarred Witch Doctor) (sheet's a WIP but all the really hard choices are made).
Still working on her backstory. Long and short she's a Half-Orc shaman of an orc tribe, real wise-woman-y sort with all that entails.

Mercedes Acidinus |

@ Liliyashanina - please check your Private Messages. I think my previous question about the Hellknight Signifer class were misunderstood and then largely forgotten. Answers aren't urgent, as Mercedes wouldn't be taking levels in the PrC until Character Level 7 at the earliest, but I appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks! I look forward to selection time!

** spoiler omitted **
To be clear, I don't have any intention of pursuing that cheese. I was just thinking out lou- via text about what use that racial might have. Didn't take the feat for it either. Aurical is planning to go full buff/mezz/heal with a little divine fury for good measure.
In other news. I came up with Aurical as a play on gold related names like Aurelia. It never occured to me how puntastic a name it is for... an oracle. >_<

Liliyashanina |

They way I see it as a GM, if you cheese, I cheese, if you dont cheese I dont.
I absolutely understand players rather erring on the side of "too optimized" then "underoptimized", but if one player is too optimized (compared to rest of the party) I am probably more inclined to bring the other players up to his level (partly via loot distribution, partly via various boosts the other players could gain), then to "nerf him".

Sapphire Aurora |

She sat on the doorstep, behind her was just death, a house of death. The contact had been simple, Kill a merchant and all that was his. The guard dogs she took out with toxic meat, She gained access to the back of the large house in the early hours. Going from room to room killing everything, the servants, the family, a cat, and some rabbits in the kitchen. Even plans are thrown onto fires. Now she was done and sat watching the sunrise. She did not feel like others did but she liked the way the light played over the land. She could hear the fire now taking hold, anything still alive in the building would be ash soon. Standing she walks down the path to her mount. It was still early and a nice ride on the hills.

Aurical |

Okay everyone, you know the drill.
PANIC!
The little kobold gets a head start on everyone else. Dashing over to a wall and ducking low. Covering his head with his small clawed hands up near his horns. He then peeks past a wrist at the other characters assembled and has anxiety all over again. He throws his hands to his side and runs over to the DM, dropping to his knees before bowing and scraping.
"Don't let them eat me! I taste terrible!"

Liliyashanina |

Ping me if I missed you, Candidate pool
Constantine Paladin, campaign trait Hells rejects
Gm assigned traits: Good saves, low AC, hit reasonably hard, can probably tell every Succubus in Alyushinyrra "I most refuse thee my Lady, for I am a virgin and saving myself for someone special" and get away with it (very high willsave vs charm/compulsion), face
Aurora
Ninja Nanoshade/investigator
Gm assigned traits: Squishy glass cannon, intense stabbing, probably up for grabs in terms of who she worships, skill monkey, not to be confused with a certain Russian Cruiser.
Aurical
Oracle 3, touched by divinity
Gm notes: Fairly high AC, divine support, comic relief, semi face
Sahala
CHA based witch, also a face, no campaign trait but villaionous rescue should definitly be considered here. Supportive caster, debuffer
Agatha Caulshaper imho too hard to judge on account of not being finished
Mercedes
Face, semi tanky, hells reject
Sigrat
Hells reject (thats a lot of possible hellknights lel), frontliner, decent dpr,
Karga
Callistrian inquisitor, probably wants to pick up a campaign trait as several woul fit well, and they are generally speaking stronger the normal traits and worth picking up a drawback.
Missing skills, but likely inquisitor standart fare, meaning skill monkeyish with side serving of sense motive and intimiate
Benedict
Virtuous Bravo and tanky git (near max hp). Dex based Paladin, not too ifferent from other paladins other then that.
Yartak
Orchestra, Sorceror, sound based which is unusual
Bengi
Ranged combat, scouting.
Isin
Rouge, reasonable DPR.
Did I miss anyone?

Storm Dragon |

Yeah, I unfortunately got sick Friday evening and wasn't really up to writing a full character backstory. I wanted to write something up with an admittedly standard witchy vibe; delivering babies and laying curses with alternate hands, etc. but couldn't think through a wall of mucus lol.
Main reason she was gonna be here is her tribe was wiped out by Angazhan cultists and wanted revenge.

Aurical |

I'm honestly amazed at the amount of auditions for the LG face of the party. I figured this would draw more properly off-alignment outcasts, and not so many straight faced/no tongue in cheek paladins. Looking at the current submissions it could almost be half and half.
Which would, honestly, be hilarious.

Mercedes Acidinus |

Face, semi tanky, hells reject
I am not sure I’d describe Mercedes exactly like that, but sure, you’ve got me!
I’d describe her as a tough, melee brawler with the divine power to be a very frightening force for [LAW]. She should have something to do both in and out of combat, most of the time, and introduce a very, “not nice or good, but at least she’s on our side…?” kind of reaction from the other PCs.
