Noticing the pair of gamblers noticing Gorn, Tek pauses in his search for whatever it is that Gorn-Demetrius is searching for as casually walks up toward one of the observant card players. Putting on a wide smile, the gnome nods his head in greeting at the odd, masked gambler.

"Greetings friend." He says warmly. His eyes shift back toward the still searching Gorn. "A good fellow isn't he. A bit peculiar, but thoughtful and passionate in his beliefs wouldn't you say?"

Shifting his gaze back to the poker table, the gnome tsks and shakes his head at the array of cards showing.

"You best pay attention to your cards friend. That fellow got a solid pentacle flush going."

Throughout his interaction, Tekumbray watches closely for signs of life, interest, annoyance, or anything else from either the one observing Gorn-Demetrius or anyone else at the table as he interrupts the game.

Gorn-Demetrius finds what he is looking for and opens a concealed door in the southern wall.

"There you are! Time to die Darius!" the possessed priest exclaims entering the recently revealed chamber.

When Gorn opens the door, the gamblers all take an interest in what happens next, no longer paying much attention to their games.

Looking beyond Gorn, you see a flail wielding priest - presumed to be Darius - and six hobgoblin warriors.

Emenius shuffles through the room excusing himself weaving through the seated gamblers, still exhausted from earlier. Aligning himself with the previously hidden doorway and Darius, he looses a bolt of fire from his hand.

Tekumbray is more than a bit surprised to see the gamblers actually react to the confrontation between Gorn-Demetrius and the priest, Darius. Knowing they aren't just images, the gnome keeps a wary eye on the nearest group even as he put an arrow to his shortbow to send a shaft flying down the hall toward one of the enemy hobgoblins. He then ducks around one of the nearby tables to hide while he sets up for another shot into the hidden room.

Shortbow Attack Hobgoblin: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Damage: 1d6 + 3 + 2d6 ⇒ (5) + 3 + (1, 1) = 10 Not sure if Sneak applies, but went ahead and added it in just in case. But it probably misses anyway.

Aethorduil's magical bolts slam home into the chest of Darius, while Emenius's fiery bolt goes wide.

Tek quickly takes a shot with his bow before taking position for his next shot, but misses the hobgoblin.

Seeing the party begin to attack, the gamblers drop their cards and dice and move to physically assault Aethorduil, Emenius, and Cayde. Two of the gamblers even notice Tek and move to attack him.

Gambler's fists fly, landing a blow on Aethorduil, and twice on Cayde.

Seeing the entire chamber erupt into chaos as the gamblers mob her companions, Baheera moves into the room, nimbly getting to a central point as she draws upon the mystical power granted by her patron, unleashing a powerful wave of rolling thunder in all directions.

Each creature in a 15-foot cube originating from you must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 2d8 thunder damage and is pushed 10 feet away from you. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn’t pushed. In addition, unsecured objects that are completely within the area of effect are automatically pushed 10 feet away from you by the spell’s effect, and the spell emits a thunderous boom audible out to 300 feet.

Tekumbray readies himself to strike at the nearest gambler from underneath the table when the table is suddenly lifted up and tossed across the room by Baheera's thundering blast. Somehow, the gnome had managed to plant himself firmly enough to withstand the blast. As the dust begins to clear Tek finds one of his would be attackers still recovering from the rumbling blow. Not wanting the moment to go wasted, he lashes out with his short blade to try a keep the man down for good.

The Zargonite priest's eyes narrow. "It can't be...Demetrius, will you just stay dead!" he yells, conjuring a spectral weapon and spitting a glob of slime in the direction of his "brother".

Seeing the massive waves of energy going off, Aethorduil conjured rippling green fire to his blade, and being surrounded, swings ar the foe in blue while directing flames at the enemy next to it.

Gorn-Demetrius balls up as much as he can to avoid hobgoblin strikes moves toward his treacherous brother, uttering a word of healing for himself along the way.

Gamblers continue to flail at Aethorduil and one moves to strike at Baheera, but none manage to land a meaningful blow.

Two of the hobgoblins follow Gorn, one cutting deep into the possessed priest's back, while the remaining hobgoblins focus on Cayde, with only one finding its way beyond the barbarian's defenses.

Darius directs his spectral flail towards his brother, while swinging a real flail at him as well. The spectral flail bashes Gorn, dropping him to the ground just before Darius's flail caves in his skull.

Cayde takes 17 damage. Gorn-Demetrius is dead.

After Cayde tactically withdraws from the room, Emenius limps to the doorway and pushes his Thunderwave into the room.

if the doorway blocks their AOO Emenius limps back to his corner to hold the wall up.

As a lone gambler steps up to attack her, Baheera holds her position, making no attempt to attack, but oddly...smiling....moments before al'Adhaa flickers into visibility on the other side of her opponent, delivering a deadly sting to the man's back.
