"Aaaarrgghhh!!!" BakBat screams as he attempts: 1d20 ⇒ 5 to cast burning hands again. He successfully casts it, and, in order to get all three of the monsters in the fire, he will have to catch himself in the flames also.

"Ouch," BakBat says as he takes three fire damage.

Kizik watches as the otyugh whisks his new friends away. "Uh oh! BakBat and Tolobo go bye bye. Kizik go bang bang!" But first he has to reload. This time he throws in a bunch of knives. As he's reloading, he kicks a loose rock into the water where it makes a splash to draw the otyugh's attention away from him. Regardless of whether his ruse works, he decides to sneak forward a short distance (risking the effects of the stench) to get into better position before firing his gun at the creature. BOOM! "Take that!"

Kizik really doesn't like the look of the Otyugh heading his way. "Uh, oh. Big guy coming!" He quickly scrambles to reload, while simultaneously kicking more chunks of nearby debris to the other side of the sewer hoping to distract the creature. Once his gun is full of knives again, he points and shoots before making a tactical withdrawal.

Once the last of the bad guys goes down, Kizik hops from foot to foot in nervous excitement as the adrenaline slowly dissipates. "Everybody do good job. Kizik happy you on his team. Kizik sorry he wasn't more help."
Hearing the voice in the distance, Kizik scampers down the hallway to try and find the source. He calls out. "Good guys are here. Bad guys are dead. You can come out."

Two kobolds who you assume are Chief Yiddlepode and Trapmaster Tok emerge from behind the barricade.
”Thank you, Pathfinders! We would surely have been eaten if you had not come along!” says the chief.
A young kobold then leads them back around so that another can attempt to treat their wounds.
Shortly thereafter, as the kobolds cheer and poke at the deceased otyughs, Drandle Dreng and Dragonspeaker Engashez arrive from an adjacent tunnel.
”Magnificent job, Pathfinders. I’ll be sure to mention you in my report.” says Dreng.
Whatever the construct was that began this calamity, neither of them can say for certain.
