Beneath Wirholt’s Rictus extends one of Professor Kramolag’s two satellite facilities: Slumbersun, more a tangled network of halls, studies, and artificial ecosystems than a compact laboratory. A combination of etched metal signs, sealed areas, and trial and error allow you to navigate the facility without extraordinary difficulty.

Shortly after you descend into Slumbersun, you enter this laboratory through the west door.

Fluid-filled canisters attached to the walls contain a range of small creatures floating in stasis. An overturned operating table has broken one of these containers, spilling viscous liquid across the floor. A much larger glass cylinder stands to the southeast, though it appears empty.

Since you already fought the guards that were here, this laboratory is abandoned.

Incidentally, each of the guards that came up from below were wearing a a special copper medallion.
