Booker: HP: 21/38; minor healing potion 3/5; AC: 20 (21 before first action); Fort +8; Ref +10; Will +7; Per +7

Booker winces as Doc with her usual bedside manner makes things worse before they get better. "a know, anyone might tink dat you didn't like helpin folk.." he mutters.

Still, Doc's techniques were effective... especially at keeping those who were not quite sick *enough* away from taking too much of her time. Certianly didn't stop him pocketing the remaining healing potions.

"Any of you get bit bad, let me know." he says to the rest of the team.

"I'm all for thinning out the hoard from up here. Never heard of nobody getting better after becoming a zombie. But I'm *not* keen on splitting up the team doc, you try sneaking across, I'll be right behind you."

Gritting his teeth Booker tries his (not very good) luck once again. Waiting until the zombie's seem to be facing the other way, he tries to slip silently across the road to join up with Doc.

Doc and Booker easily sneak across the to the theater. They come upon a scene of abject horror inside. Meanwhile, across the street, ZakZak and Zindarel are poised in the window to try to thin the herd outside, unaware of what's going on in the theater.

The fine furnishings of this theater, including velvet seat cushions, polished marble aisles, and expensive silk draperies, are marred by blood and other, fouler liquids. The elevated stage at the far end of the theater features a gloomy tableau of painted wood and canvas designed to resemble a decrepit cemetery. The display is decorated with religious iconography that seems to twist and warp when looked upon for more than a moment. The northern portion of this building is occupied by a stage. A grim backdrop painted to resemble a graveyard full of fractured headstones rises behind the stage; a pair of undead, looking remarkably like Melsa and Harven Aldthistle, and carrying defiled religious symbols of Pharasma, caper in an obscene dance. They continue to act out the play scene by scene, over and over again, as their souls serve as fuel for the hungry magic.

The braziers heating and lighting the theater are fueled by a viscous alchemical oil designed to burn long and slow. You can Interact with the braziers as an action to coat a single melee weapon in flaming oil. The weapon sheds light like a torch for 1 minute or until used to make a melee attack, whichever comes first. The first melee attack made with a weapon treated with the brazier oil in this way deals an additional 1d4 fire damage, after which the flame is doused. Once the flame has been doused, you must reapply the oil by returning to the brazier and using another Interact action to re-coat the weapon.

I noticed the Red Circle Zombie in the map but realized I never added it to the combat tracker. So I'll apply the damage to Blue instead, since you did hit it (but it wasn't a crit). Since there aren't many left, I might as well tell you -- the regular zombies have an AC of 12. The other zombies not much better. So rolling anything more than a 10 before your bonus pretty much guarantees a crit on a ranged attack...

Zindarel shoots Green as she runs for the theater, putting a neat hole in its chest but not really slowing it down any. Meanwhile, Melsa Aldthistle joins her husband beside Booker.

"You cannot stop us! You will join our children soon!" she says in a harsh tone.

Booker fires his scattergun at Red, catching the Aldthisles in the blast. Meanwhile, ZakZak blows off Green's head, clearing the street, on his way to the theater. Arriving, he shoots at Red. Red is barely keeping together but is still up. Harven mumbles words in an obscene tongue. Suddenly, you notice the wounds on Red beginning to close. Harven laughs evilly and walks up to Booker. Red does the same and swings at Booker with a meaty fist.

Apparently, this troupe is going for comedy." She sighs and adds, "I see it more as a tragedy."
