Zharis |

Don't worry, Phillin, it's part of the job to keep you safe. You stay in the truck under cover while we handle this. I can leave you a gun to defend yourself if someone makes it up here to the window if you want, but we're definitely going to try to prevent that.

Tulgram Coldforge |

Tulgram will approach the window, pulling out his injector on the go. Leaning out of the window, he will aim at Xylian.
Catch it, lad! - damai hears when the needle enters the joint of the armor, vulnerable to piercing objects, almost painlessly.
+1 AC for 4 rounds

Zharis |

Zharis climbs out of the truck onto the roof to get a better sightline, then lobs a grenade.
Looks like range increment penalties are -2 per range increment, and for a grenade it maxes out at 5 increments... but since it only takes a 5 to hit a square, I feel like I still have a good chance. (Too bad I didn't think of the range penalty thing when we were fighting the flower. Probably didn't have to climb that cliff.)
Throwing a Frag Grenade 55 feet: 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 5 - 4 = 5 (20 foot range makes it a -4 penalty)
Piercing Damage in a 15 foot radius: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Yikes, that was close, and not much damage, but you know... explosions are always good for the camera. Reflex save for 1/2 damage, and range increment penalty also applies to the DC of the saves I believe, so should be easy.

Hani Makoa |

Hani jumps off the bike and moves toward the bandits. There is a flash as his energy shield activates.
Move action as shown. Standard action to activate energy shield for 8 temporary HP.

"Grenade!" shouts one of the Brass Dragons, a half-instant before deadly shrapnel fills the air!
Thanks to nat 1s, both White and Black take full damage. Yellow made the save and has Evasion, so takes none.
The vehicles each have enough Hardness that the grenade won't scratch them.
White: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Black: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Yellow: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22

GM Jhaeman |

The driver of the urban cruiser activates a loud PA system. "No one misses with the Brass Dragons! You scum killed our friends when we weren't even around. Now it's payback!"
Then, unbelievably, he grips the steering wheel tightly and slams the accelerator on the ground, making a straight line for the hover truck! Before anyone can react, the cruiser smashes into the back of the larger vehicle in a thundering collision!
Phillin's head cracks against the side window, and he slumps down into his seat restraint, clearly unconscious . . . or worse.
Zharis, Tulgram, Phillin, and the driver of the urban cruiser take 10 damage (DC 11 Reflex save for half).

Reflex Save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Zharis is completely surprised by the kamikaze ramming move, and gets hurt, only able to retain her position on the hover truck by extending her claws and clinging to the roof, but in the process putting one of her own claws right through her flesh... and unable to retract it until she knew she wasn't going to fall.
She yowls loudly
Hypocrites! You started the whole thing by stealing from us, and then act surprised when we want our data back? We come to ask for it and you shoot at us? WHAT THE HELL DID YOU EXPECT? If you don't want to get hurt, try a career where you don't screw people over for a living!

Xylian Xuuvats |

Xylian screeches to a halt, the force of the deceleration causing the wheelless front end of his bike to scrape against the pavement, sending out a shower of sparks. He dismounts, kneeling with the bike between himself and the more numerous opponents to the south and draws his carbine from its magnetic holster on the back of his armor. Thumbing the safety off, the weapons hums to life as he braces it across the top of his rented enercycle.
Action to dismount bike, using it for cover from the three southern enemies; action to draw Ice Carbine.

Tulgram Coldforge |

Ref: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Heh! Yeer old lads too? Despite the fact that the impact greatly shook the car, duergar remained firmly on his feet. What did you call yerself 'ere? Damn rusty kobolds? Just let me get out of here, I'll teach ye quickly where your place is...
What is the action to get out of the car?

GM Jhaeman |

Xylian dismounts and takes cover, ready for action.
One of the Brass Dragon motorcylists drives into the heart of the action to support the driver of the urban cruiser. Another one takes careful aim with a sniper rifle and fires at Hani!
White has done a double move. Hani, if you have a melee weapon out you can take an AoO against White or the cycle as it moves past you.
Yellow does a full-round action to shoot at Hani (who has cover) w/ trick attack. The trick attempt fails and the attack misses.
@Tulgram: It's a move action to get out of the hover-truck (you can place your token in any square adjacent to the vehicle).

So, if this one dies, there may be difficulties... Tulgram looks at the fallen driver, carefully examining his injuries, and then presses on several points on his neck, from which there is a crunch - not like fatal but rather pleasant, similar to manual therapy.
Medecine: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (16) + 13 = 29 (First Aid; biohacker can do it without medkit in his hands)
He then reaches for the car door, dropping his injector to the floor and pulling out his favorite pole as he jumps out of it. I'm going to give you a thrashing, you rotten lizards!

GM Jhaeman |

Phillin begins to breathe easier, having Tulgram to thank for saving his life!
From around a corner, one of the Brass Dragons fires a glowing pistol right at Xylian's enercycle.
She then yells back "Rotten lizards? We stole that data fair and square! It was your bunch that came and wrecked everything! Now even the Siroccos are moving in on Brass Dragon territory!"
Phillin is stable--good job, Tulgram. Black is firing her overcharged pistol.
Xylian, after hardness the enercycle takes 2 points of damage (currently at 5/7 hp).

Note, I am assuming that my action doesn't prompt an AOO because even though on the map that enemy looks like he is beside me, he is in a car below me, and I am on top of the truck.

Thunderstrike Pistol: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Sonic Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
But when someone yells back, she is goaded into responding:
You could have just stolen a copy of the data and left us our own copy and we would never have come after you! Why'd...
Zharis realizes that she is arguing with someone who will never see the other side of the argument, and also that the girl probably lost some good friends because of their actions, justified or not. When it came down to it, their actions were questionable anyway. Vigilante justice... but she didn't want to think about anyway. Could she draw something out of this scene for the audience?
Using the pause as a dramatic intro, she draws on her acting skill and plays a different hunch. Jin was right. They were finding them too fast... and this wasn't just hijacking the truck. It was personal, so where were they getting the information?
Sounding beaten she says
Okay, okay... you're right. We should have stayed out of it. ... But how about we pay you more to walk away? She can't be paying you much, since she is playing both sides.
Bluff: 1d20 + 14 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 14 + (1) + 1 = 23
(Zharis has no intention of paying them a cent. She's just fishing to see if they will reveal who hired them. The "she" was a guess, which could be a couple of other gang leaders, or could possibly be Lurian (hopefully not, but to get her ship back she might be desperate), or it could be that woman who hired us. Taza. She could have identified the Brass Dragons when they broke into the room... no, no... had to be earlier. How could they have known they were even going to stay at this Casino? That woman admitted that she set the whole hologram thing up. She would have had the information ahead of time... but what I don't get is why? Was she friends/lovers with someone we killed or something? I mean, it's a cartel. She could have had the guards pull us into an alley or something. Why the rigamarole? Trying to keep her hands clean and blame it on a gang, not associate it with the casino?)

GM Jhaeman |

The ifrit driver of the urban cruiser exits the vehicle, her legs shaky. Suddenly, her hands begin to smolder and then burst into flames! She directs the flame outwards towards Jin and Tulgram!

Zharis glances at Tulgram, not sure about whether he is bluffing to scare everyone off or not. If so, he would make a fine actor.

Tulgram's attack missed.

Zharis comes to the conclusion that it has to be Taza setting them up. Only she could have known they were hired to guard this shipment. Why was she playing both sides like this? So she could look good protecting the shipment against hostile forces, or did she want them to fail? The motivation wasn't clear, but the role was. Taza was the leak.
Didn't change anything immediately though. Still had to win the fight before she could figure out what to do with that information, if anything.
She lobbed another grenade, trying to make sure the enemies at a distance didn't feel safe.

Xylian's ice cannon sends a freezing projectile right into the ifrit Brass Dragon's chest, and she grunts in pain before, a half-second later, Zharis' grenade explodes!
As the concussive blast echoes through the streets of the Brass Bazaar, Jin's crackling doshko slams into the chest of of a brave but inept Brass Dragon, sending him to dreamland with cracked ribs and scorched flesh.
Xylian hit (shame about the minimum damage roll!). Zharis' grenade did full damage to Black, but Yellow made the save and had evasion. None of the bikes took damage because of hardness. Jin puts White out of action.
