Cayden hops out, studying the area. "If we want a better view of the area, I've got an idea. I can get some eyes in the sky, see through the senses of birds and other animals. I'll be unconscious for as long as I'm doing it, though."

Zania and Chloe move towards the 'fairgrounds' and Zania spots Toni leaning on a tree sipping a drink seeming normal. Ove on the south side of the fairgrounds about 20 bikes are pulled up. A good amount of bikers are up and about stowing sleeping bags and chatting.

A well tatted guy is chatting up a platinum blonde with curves in all the right places. He's all smiles and shes flirting a tiny bit.

Toni trying to listen in finds it very hard to hear them, but from body language she could probably figure what the conversation was about. Though why a woman dressed to the 9's looking like her would want to flirt with someone like him, is beyond Toni. Suddenly she sees her smile and point to the fairgrounds and then glance at her watch as she says something. He nods and glances over to the fairgrounds looking around appraisingly then back to the silver haired woman. As she turns to go Toni picks up ...remember, no deaths... and she starts towards a 22 Subaru Outback. Something about her tugged at Toni's mind. She had seen her here in Bodega Bay before....but where.

Stopping at the Bodega Bay Tours marina, near the RV park. They stoped and made like there was something wrong. Sariel stood smoking a cigarette and glanced around. A sign said 'closed' on the door. and all three Boats were at dock. It was very quiet. no sign of Sato or Longjiku nor any bikers hanging around.

across the bay they could see the festival grounds.

'No ones near the boats, there's nothing going on here at all.' Closing the hood of the jeep, Sariel looks at Cayden, "Maybe a birds eye view would help. I don't see anything happening here." He points to the festival grounds, "Everyone's over at the festival."

Gesturing towards the back seat, he asks Cayden, "If you lay down in the back would you be able pick up a bird or something while we drive over to the festival?"

He looks at their driver, "What do you think Jon, ready to head that way?"

Toni sends a very quick message consisting of the poop emoji and a down arrrow

Then she starts racking her brains trying to remember where she's seen the woman

Not recognizing the blonde, and unable to overhear anything, Zania moves next to Toni.

The cavalry has arrived. Did you figure anything out?

Just then Toni's text arrives and she glances at it and says

Oh, guess not.

Toni, meet Chloe. Met her in a parking lot when I was trying to track down Ameiko. She's a friend of hers. Couldn't find Nishka to tell us how she fits in, but remember how Nishka called me a...

She uses her fingers to make quotation marks.

"Star Person" yesterday? Well, she is one too, and so is that blonde. No idea what any of that means in the larger scheme, but probably good information to have.

Anyway, she seems to think that I am in on Ameiko's disappearance, so she's following me rather than looking for her. Maybe motivated enough to help us.

Chloe interjects to Toni. "I never said that."

And yet again to Zania. "Do what? What are we supposed to be doing if we're not actually looking for Ameiko? What's a 'Star Person'?"

Although Chloe is clearly becoming exasperated with Zania's unwillingness to talk about anything in a straight, sensible way, she does stop at that point because first impressions matter. She smiles her perfect smile at Toni and says "Hi Toni, it's nice to meet you."

It's true, Chloe never said she thinks Zania is a party to the kidnapping. However she thinks it's unwise to dismiss the possibility that she could be. I think Chloe is occupying the typical space a person would given what's happened and what she's been told. She wants to be helpful if she can with solving the problem she knows to be real, finding a missing Ameiko. The rest, with big conspiracies and star people, just isn't something she's going to buy into coming from a stranger she met 20 minutes ago.

"Hey, Chloe. Nishka Vashti said something about a group of us protecting the area from some great evil. And the Kaijitsu family is involved somehow."
Toni shrugs. "Sounds crazy to me too, but those guys" she gestures toward the bikers, "are here to trash the festival"

'I really need my own wheels just in case something goes really south.' As they were loading up into the jeep, Seamus asks Jon. "He Jon, before we head to the festival, drop me back off at the diner so I can grab my bike." As the were driving off, Sariel pulls out his phone and sends a text to the group. >Marina empty no sign of Sato or Longjiku headed to festival<

Figure I'll get Sariel's bike so a little more independent.

Toni's answer doesn't assure Chloe of much.

So they're some sort of cult led by old Vashti? Great.

Chloe looks over at the bikers.

"There's a lot of them, but why do you think they're going to trash the festival? Have you contacted the police about it?"

"Nothing solid to take to the sheriff, just stuff we heard in a bar last night, and something blondie over there just said. Anyway, the sheriff saw how many bikers were here yesterday."

Having been dropped of at the diner by Jon, Sariel rides his triumph over to the parking lot where Toni had parked her Kawasaki the day before. Finding the little 'dual-purpose' bike he parked the triumph beside it and started walking towards the Fair.

Seeing Tony speaking with an attractive olive skinned dark haired woman, Sariel pauses, waiting for a moment to make sure no one else seems to be watching them, he then approaches. Not wanting to say anything about the situation in front of the athletic looking woman, he calls out. "Good morning Toni." He pulls his left hand out of the leather jacket pocket gesturing back towards the parking lot. "I parked my triumph over by your Kawasaki, I figured I'd show it to you later."

As the group gathers back at the festival grounds and begins keeping an eye on things. All seems well. for quite some time. Til folks begin to move down to the bathtub races by the shoreline then all hell breaks loose.

Please place your guys within the festival grounds however you want I have the bikers in the the gm layer so you dont know where they are, exactly except theres a lot of them.

each square will be as hindering terrain for movement having at least 1 person in it besides you for the first handful of rounds, which I will roll at the start of combat. From here on out we will be going from 1 combat map to another for 5 maps. each with large amount of bikers from a different gang.

For clarity, Toni will be wearing her leathers, having arrived by bike, but won't have much of her other gear (such as her backpack & the stuff in it), which she'll have left at home.
While waiting for any possible trouble to happen, she'll have been looking for things lying around that could be used as a weapon - tools, lengths of 2x4, stuff like that. The area where the bathtubs are being assembled is likely to have some stuff, but hopefully there will be a few things lying around elsewhere.

Chloe will continue to stick with Zania, and now Toni. She'll be starting wherever they are.

So three notes. 1. Each square not occupied by an enemy or a good guy has 1-3 people in it, and as such are considered to be hindering ie double movement and adds +4 to ac of opponents for ranged combat for first 4 rounds. 2. remember there are laws. so try not to kill anyone. All opponents die at con negative as characters. Leader dies at -17. Lt at -11 Thugs at -10. 3.There is no surprise round for good guys. But bad guys are surprised the first round until their action

As the group began to make there way to the bathtub races along with everyone else, except for 1 person per booth, suddenly the Ghost Mountain Riders sprang to action. They came from all directions, clubs, chains, knives in their hands. One of them, the apparent leader shouted for them to take the fair down. as he adjusted brass knuckles on his hand.

The roar of a motorcycle accompanied his shout, as another member of them road an Indian into the fair swinging a chain.

Zania was the first to react to the threat.

Zania, having expected all of this since the day before, is almost relieved as she watches it begin.

She wants to accelerate the chance for the innocent people to get away before things get ugly, so she negotiates through the crowd so that she is near one of the thugs, but does not attack yet. Instead she turns and yells to the crowd in her best tourist guide voice:

Attention: There is a gas leak on the fairgrounds. Please put out any cigarettes, and evacuate immediately by order of the Fire Marshall. We apologize for the inconvenience. I repeat, there is a dangerous GAS LEAK. Please EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY.

Zania will go total defense this round, just repeating that... trying to get people to move away, and distract the attackers.

Zania started yelling for the immediate evacuation after maneuvering near a biker coming out of the port-a-potty. This spurred the crowd to moving very fast.

The Biker coming out of the toilet, paused looking around, seeing people beginning to run. He was a little confused. and looked to his friend, who shrugged and he half turned and put his shoulders to the port a potty trying to topple it.

The one adjacent to the slide after shrugging his shoulders took his knife and started slashing into the plastic parts of the slide cutting it.

The Band was jumping off the stage and heading toward the parking lot at Zania's words, and a thug jumped up on stage and started knocking mike stands over and pulling the plugs on amplifiers.

One biker was pushing through the crowd, and grabbed a the edge of a picnic table and tried to overturn the table. The table toppled over almost smashing into a family of 5 who barely got out of the wat. Food and drinks scattered on the ground and people started screaming.

Another Biker moved into the booth of the Duck Club, and started tipping over food plates and knocked over the beverage holder.

2 bikers moved into the City tent and started tipping over displays and toppling tables.

Yet another Ghost Mountain Rider moved to the Bodega Bay Escape booth and started slashing at the display stands with a knife. The representative of the company screamed and ran out of the booth.

One biker thug moved to the swinging boat ride, where 8 people were inside as it was moving back and forth, and started throwing levers and pushing buttons randomly. The boat started to speed up and the people inside were screaming.

another biker moved into the Terrapin Creek Food both and began knocking the fish and chips off the table with a sweep of his club. The representative screamed and ran out the other side.

Gourmet Au Bay and Drakes Fireside Lounge were equally assaulted in the same manner.

Maybe crazy and cultists, but they seem to be on to something...

Chloe most easily notices the biker up on the stage. She starts working her way through the crowd in that direction. When she gets closed enough where she might be hear over all the noise, she calls out.

"Hey! That stuffs expensive! Leave it alone!"

Impeded movement so Move 20'. If she can still pull or vault herself up on the stage she will.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

Toni follows Chloe toward the stage; as she passes a booth she stops to pull up a large tent peg to use as an improvised dagger

I'm assuming the booths, being temporary, have guy lines that are pegged down, and that a peg is retrievable as a move action, and will be similar enough to a dagger for damage (though probably piercing only).
GM, feel free to correct any of those assumptions; I'm mainly aiming to end up armed by the end of the turn

Just before the fight starts
Raising an eyebrow as Jon actually draws his weapon and checks the chamber, Sariel didn't feel the need to check his 1911. He could feel the weight of it in his inner jacket pocket. He knew he kept a full mag and a round in the chamber all the time. Instead he craved a cigarette. Resisting the urge to pull the cigarettes out of his pocket, Sariel released the pack of 'Lucky Strikes' and slipped his fingers into the 'knuckleduster' instead. Answering Jon; "Always Jon, always." He realized the other woman, he assumed she was the 'star person' Zania had texted about, had notices Jon draw the weapon as well. She didn't seem too happy about it.

As the fight starts
Hearing the two cylinder roar of the Indian, Seamus turns, realizing it had begun. While Zania, thinking quickly, calls out her warning about a 'gas leak.' 'Smart woman.' Hoping the warning disperses the crowd he watched as the chaos ensued. True to their plan, Seamus didn't see any blood. Sure, lots of shiny knives, delinquent pranks and burly bikers; but thank God, no blood yet. Chuckling as the new woman calls out her reprimand as she moved towards the stage. Realizing Toni was following her, Sariel looked toward Cayden and then Jon to see what they were doing.

Just a little fluff, to keep my head in the character.

Cayden yells too, "Please, evacuate the area in a brisk but orderly fashion!"

Also trying to help clear the fairgrounds.

Move, people...quickly... Jon says as he waves the people away from the action. He moves forward, eyes focused on the thug at the Duck Club.

ok...moved towards...i assume a double move isn't possible given the circumstances? also, remember Jon has 40' movement speed...not 30'

Cayden begins to shout and direct bystanders to their vehicles. Directing traffic if you will. In no time at all the people start going where they are supposed to

Next round it will just be The party and the Biker gang.

Jon heads towards one of the bikers tearing the duck club tent apart, pushing through the fleeing crowd.

Toni moves to the edge of The Tides tent, and pulls a tent peg out of the ground, the edge of the tent sagging towards the rear and she looks at the bikers approaching, she pivots the tent peg in her hands and looks at it for a second.

Toni-Id say Piercing or Bludgeoning. but otherwise yes.

Chloe shouts at the Biker messing with the band equipment and she pushes through the crowd, and with an easy one handed vault she lands on the stage, raising up to face him.

The Leader yells Yeah, Run Rabbits Run. As he moves into the lane between the vendor booths and starts pushing display cases and turnstiles over.

'That was well done.' Smiling as Cayden politely disperses the crowd, Sariel reaches to his collar and pulls the very catholic crucifix out of his shirt. Crossing himself he prays, softly, "Benedicat Pater celestis amicis meis hodie precor in Christo nomine amen." He begins to move to the east, looking at the girl running the coffee shop as he tightens his grip on the 'knuckleduster' in his pocket. "You may want to get down."

As he steps beside the coffee tent and slightly behind Zania, he yells at the biker directly in front of him. "Hey Stupid! Once the fellow looks at him he spits, and asks. "Is this really what you blasted idiots do for fun?"

Standard cast bless, move 15 ft, still rough terrain so that's all he gets. If the eastern thug comes at him he may give Zania an AOO

Sariel touched the cross around his neck and prayed and the group felt uplifted from his prayer. Then he taunted one of the Bikers.

The Biker on the motorcycle swung his chain to wrap around two of the supports for Huria's booth and as he drove past it pulled the booth down. He swung his bike around and faced inside revving the engine as he pulled his chain loose with a flick of his wrist.

we start the round with the citizenry cleared out.

Just want to make sure that *all* the citizenry is cleared out. Sounded like some people were trapped on that one ride where a biker was randomly using the controls. That is the one I was most concerned about... so if that is still going on, I want to go there. I am posting below assuming that all the innocents are safely away though.

Zania, seeing that the innocent bystanders were cleared out, tasers the biker she is standing next to in order to take him out of the game, at least for now.

Zania seeing the citizenry out of the festival grounds, but the family still stuck in the boat ride, backs away from the Biker standing in front of her and past Sariel heading towards the fair ride.

The Gang Members continued their random acts of destruction.

The slide began to deflate as holes were sliced in the air filled plastic.

The Gang Member on the bandstand turned at Chloes words and said Look Lady, Unless ya want trouble, git to runnin with the rest of the folks here. as he raised a crowbar threateningly.

Moving to another picnic table, a Biker grabbed the edge and tried to flip it too. He easily tipped it on its end and over, drinks and plates flying.

Continuing to wreck the duck club booth, The Ghost Mountain Rider opened the cooler and began throwing beer cans out into the festival grounds, pausing to crack one open and taking a big swig smacking his lips together with pleasure. I love this job

The Main tent was being ravaged by the two there.

Over at Bodega Bay Escapes, the displays were nearly all destroyed.

The Biker randomly hitting controls pushed the stop button as the ride was up in the air, and it boat stopped moving and groaning could be heard from the struts and wires as they strained to stop momentum He was laughing hysterically pointing at the obvious fear on the families face.

A Thuggish looking brute was just wreaking havoc on Terrapin Creeks Booth

Booths for Gourmet Au Bay and Drakes were being wrecked by two bikers.

Chloe figures a threat while wielding a crowbar is sufficiently dangerous for taking action in self-defense. She takes a step forward and strikes at the biker high, aiming for the nose. Since she expects he'll move his arms upward to ward off the blow, she follows with a quick knee strike aimed at his ribs.

Yep, that's fine. My character's main goal is to save that family, since they are still here and trapped, so she'll move up, incapacitate that thug if possible, and go from there. Double-moving closer lines up with that intent.

Oh, crap... Jon says as he hears the scream from the trapped riders and spins and sees the thug goofing around with the controls. He rushes towards the men, changing his target.

Hey, ugly...wanna try messing with someone who can fight? Or are you a little pussy... he says as he wraps his left hand around his sack of quarters and the other ready to draw his gun if needed.

Actually, reading back, there's a chance Chloe will have downed this guy with those attacks, in which case Toni would move toward the biker at gourmet au bay, stopping at the end of the move and readying to attack if a biker comes into melee range

With the public on their way out Cayden takes a deep breath as a gust of wind blows through. Truly, this was the way of the dreaming mind of the world to steer him towards a greater purpose.

He reaches out, both mentally and physically and the plants of the fairground writhe and twist and grow, rising in rebellion against the bikers who would bring chaos and destruction.

Casting entangle, the approximate area is the green circle. Bikers inside it will need to make a DC 15 reflex save or be, well, entangled.

Cayden turned to look at the Bikers tearing up booths to the rear of the festival and his face became serene and a slight breeze began to blow and tree branches, flowers, bushes, long grass all began to sway on time with his bodies movements and then to writhe. grabbing and holding the thugs. The Bikers all began to scream and struggle against the plant life. Only one managed to evade being grabbed, and even he was terrified.

In the future, please all of you---roll any saves of the opponents, Youll find them in their stat blocks. Just as Ill roll your saves that are needed. it helps move things along.

Jon glanced at the plant life suddenly writhing and back at Cayden, before running towards the Biker controlling the boat taunting him.

Toni moved up onto the stage and shoved the tent peg into the bikers ribcage causing him to grunt in pain, blood coming out of the wound.

Chloe moved forward and struck the biker across the bridge of nose, an explosion of blood and he yelled Farg!!! and then a kneww caught hi in the groin and he doubled over falling to the stage. unconscious.

Hearing Jon shout, The gang leader spun and his widened as he saw the mass of writhing plant life behind Jon and he muttered what the hell?! standing still jaw open as he tried to make sense of what was happening.

Realizing that Zania was moving to help the people trapped on the ride. Sariel decided it was up to him to deal with these two. 'Huh, he has more self control than I expected.' Raises an eyebrow as the biker chooses to slash the inflatable slide instead of react to the insult. He turns in time to see the other tipping over the porta-potty as the odd blue liquid with chunks of waste and toilet paper begins to seep out onto the ground around their feet.

Drowning out the sound of the fight going on around him Sariel focuses on the task at hand. In an instant he decides to start with the celebrating toilet tipper. Withdrawing his hands from his pockets, bringing them up into a traditional boxers stance. The left just in front of the right, he shifts his feet stepping into the blue and brown liquid. Taunting the toilet tipper, "Hey twinkle toes, really? Right where we're standing?" And throws a fierce upper cut with his right hand, the one wearing the knuckle duster.

'He must have a glass jaw. Serves him right.' The uppercut closing with the mans jaw, the thug drops like a sack of potatoes into the blue and brown liquid. Turning towards the the biker who had ruined the slide, he lowers his hands slightly, snarling. "Well stupid, you just going to stand there or what?"

Sariel knocks one of the Bikers out with a quick uppercut with the brass knuckles, dropping him into the waste running from the port-a-potty.

The One on the bike spun the cycle in a circle, looking at the writhing plants and says what the farg! is that? Boss what ya think? then he looks at Jon and says Back yur arse up there hero. you dont want none of this.

Zania double-moves, sidling right up to the biker at the controls of the ride, smiling warmly and looking at him admiringly. (And let's also remember that she is stunning as far as attractiveness goes.)

Not a stunning bluff, but let's hope that he's as dumb as he looks. Her goal here is to distract him/get him to do something besides attack this round, and then to be able to taser him/help the people next round. (Also, she 1. doesn't think the people on the ride can hear her over their screams, and 2. is assuming that the ride will have safeguards built in so it won't do a loop or actually harm anyone... even though it is probably terrifying to the people on it, it likely isn't actually going to kill them unless they panic and try to get out of the restraints.)

Chloe spends a few seconds in shocked amazement. The guy had gone down quickly and easily. For all the time she has spent training and sparring, Chloe has never really hit anyone before, not with the intent of doing them harm. She's shocked at herself, but also a little pleased. All the work she's done actually does get her the results promised.
