Sure thing.

Wolstine begins concentrating, casting a spell that manifests a Nixie Next to Irves, within the water bubble. Once the creature appears, she tells it in Sylvan to help Irves breath underwater. The creature waves it's arms in the water and touches Irves.

Khunbish is required to make a wish - a wish for power, a wish for wealth, or a wish for happiness. You can make your actions as usual afterward. To speed things along, I'll post the results for all three wishes, but only open the one you choose.

Wish for Power:
Perezia twists the words of Khunbish's wish. He is fatigued for 1 hour.

Wish for Wealth:
Perezia twists the words of Khunbish's wish. His pockets fill with junk and he is encumbered for 1 hour.

Wish for Happiness:
Perezia twists the words of Khunbish's wish. He is sickened for 1 hour (no retch possible).

Hopper throws a bomb at Perezia, which hits; and a bomb at Red, which misses.

Snake-Khunbish makes a wish, but Perezia twists his words and he looks fatigued. He bites Perezia, but she pulls her arm away at the last second. She doesn't dodge Irves, though.

Perezia looks at Red. "See to this wound, will you, dear?" She then looks back at the assembled Pathfinders. "I don't see why you'll murder my nixies but you won't murder Corvius for me."

I'm guessing each nixie can only do the heal once, so going to switch attacks to Perezia

Khunbish is at 31/78 in case anyone wants to throw a heal. :)

Khunbish-Snake twists around and lashes out again at the marid, trying to sink his poisonous fangs into her flesh.

During Raznik's debriefing, Jeeves tries to follow along. Unsuccessfully. Perhaps a song of our glorious deeds. He strums his lyre and sings:

The team first met on the pier.
Two goblins, two elves, and a gnome.
A wolf and a cougar were near.
And an owl. A group far from home.

The location the party was told.
A mansion where genies did reign.
The party, so brave and so bold.
Met the owner: one Corvius Vayn.

But first, a mephit attack.
Surprised us before very long.
Wolfie and Irves, they fought back.
While Wolstine inspired with song.

A whirlwind then gave us hell.
The bards played some music to calm.
Then met a belker...the smell!
That Hopper is good with a bomb.

A marid -- half-genie, half-fish.
In water that filled a large room.
She tempted us each with a wish.
But it only led to her doom.

Rescuing nobles. A plus.
Reporters and crowds gave a cheer.
Admiration was surely for us?
Autographs after a beer.

Jeeves smiles to all, says his farewells, "It was an extreme pleasure working with all of you." He chirps, howls, and growls a goodbye to the animal companions, each in their native tongue. He then prepares to return back to The Surly Sailor pub in Absalom.

We are in the classic culture difference territory:

GM wrote:
May we humbly request that you clear the first floor of any dangers? This manor is still our responsibility, and we will need to clean up after the party is completed.
khunbish wrote:
what we might find on the ground floor?

In different regions the counting of floors is different. In most European countries (that I know of) you start with:

Ground floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor etc.

So for me we entered at the ground floor where we fought swarms, and now we are on the 1st floor.

=================

But in some North American countries (US and Canada in the parts that I've been) they count:
1st floor, 2nd floor etc.

so there we entered on the 1st floor where we fought the swarms and now are on the second.

=================

So I think that in here we are talking about clearing the floor where we met the swarms right?

Yes, clarification:

I'm American, so I've been writing everything in American conventions. I believe the scenario author is Canadian, so I'm pretty sure any box text is consistent with my interpretation.

First floor = the floor with the swarms, the nobles, and (just posted in Gameplay) this combat. In the slides, it's Slide 4.

Second floor = the floor with the stranded melody (hallway hazard) and servants. In the slides, it's Slide 7.

I interpreted Khunbish's request to be regarding the first floor / slide 4, but there's no other hazards they know of on the second floor / slide 7 either.

Bombs (except alchemist's fire) will work normally, but creatures have fire and acid resistance.

I'm not sure if it was intended or not for this to be the case - realism says they should have a shorter range than normal, but Paizo's had two chances to clarify this and they haven't, so ... *shrug*

Just a reminder that Hopper is likely on vacation by now. (It's still the 12th where I am, but I'm GMT-7 so it's the 13th in half of the world.) I'll bot Hopper when everyone else has acted, or if someone is waiting for Hopper to act (just say you're delaying for Hopper).

Watery Soup, just making sure you saw Jeeves' post (looks like we posted at the same time). I mention it because Jeeves is still bold as if you're waiting. But hopefully, you're just waiting to process it because I asked to delay till after the allies. Anyway, just making sure you saw it.

Ooh, I did miss it! I'll wait until Khunbish posts since it doesn't alter anything immediately.

An orc with the Vigilant Seal faction is there to question Corvius Vayn. Not about genies or wishes, but about a human woman named Melota that he's in love with. He shows you a returning rune that he's crafting.

Crafting: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 19 vs DC 18

Friendly request: Aktuh is searching for Melota. Can one of you offer him a cryptic clue that will show up in a future adventure? Past clues have been: Riverlands, Shadows, and Syringe. The first two worked out pretty well, but syringe has been tough and he's been stuck on it for a while.

Chronicles are HERE. Let me know if anything needs to be changed.

I've reported the game, although it's through the third party site, so I don't know when it'll get posted.

Thanks for running, Watery Soup. We all appreciate how you kept up the pace of the game. Thanks! Really enjoyed the role-playing from all the players -- made it really enjoyable. Hope to see you all in another game soon.

One question for Watery Soup: Those wishes that Perezia had us make: Just curious would have happened if we had crit-succeeded on those saves? Any chance something good might have happened?

P.S. WS -- Chronicle looks great. Thanks again for switching gears late in the day to run this scenario. I know all of us really enjoyed it.

Yes, something good would have happened. :)

Spoiler just in case people don't want to know:
Wish for wealth:
Failure: encumbered with treasure, Crit Success: gain a temporary (1h) item

Wish for power:
Failure: pushed to limit (fatigued), Crit Success: attacks deal extra damage

Wish for happiness:
Failure: disoriented (sickened), Crit Success: inspired, bonus to attack rolls and saves vs fear

Crit Failure was just whatever Failure was, plus stunned 1, which is a huge missed opportunity, in my opinion. Having something truly terrible happen would have been super fun.

@GM thanks for running this game, It was awesome. I like the 'feel' of this scenario. It is a shame that the nixie Queen (Perezia) is not more neutral to make the choice harder to make. If she would be all: 'I just want to stop slavery of genies, help me stop genie-binders', the choice between the two would not be that clear.

Great game, thank you all!

I made a related comment when I reviewed the scenario - Corvius Vayn is too sympathetic. He shows up in PFS1 #10-21 Slaver's End, and the "Debt to Corvius" boon was definitely not presented a positive thing - the assumption is that something bad happens to your PFS2 character for having the negative boon. (I was actually kind of looking forward to something bad happening to me.)

It'd definitely be more fun (at least for some people) if there were a harder choice at the end. Sparing Perezia / killing Corvius (or killing Perezia, then killing Corvius anyway, hehe) should be appealing.
