With the patron and the ambassador out of hearshot, Zare points out “You know that guys conned you 200 credits, don’t you? He bumped the ambassador on purpose. I’ve seen this con before.” while thinking seen as in I pulled it off a couple of times, it’s been a while thought.

In the ship, Zaré seems a bit bored by the sight.
“Nugblub, don’t you want to see some of those ship closer?”
Unless the ambassador refuses, Zaré will go in the control room and start piloting the ship to get a closer look at some ships, especially the ones the ambassador seems interested in.

Sensing that Nugblub is as happy as a clam, hehe, Rilynn goes for a jaunt around the ship, eventually opening a control room of sorts at the opposite end of the ship. She sits down to figure out what these controls do.
Nugblub pays little heed as Rilynn ventures into another area of the ship. Not long after entering a control room, the lashunta woman wrestles control away from the ship's automated system, allowing the Starfinders to oversee the steering and other functions of the vessel.
“Nugblub, don’t you want to see some of those ship closer?”
"This is a fully-automated vessel," Nugblub replies. "I can hardly imagine how we could get any closer to the other ships."
Let me know, based on Nugblub's response, if you still wish to try and pilot the ship and I will apply any effect of the check retroactively.

After the first hour of the tour passes (with the old ship, perhaps, flying a bit more smoothly depending on who has control of the helm), the Periphery Stars ship moves from the Armada and begins heading back to Absalom Station.
Suddenly, the ship begins to judder and shake as though it were experiencing turbulence.
"That seems rather unexpected," notes Nugblub.

Rilynn is enjoying Deris' company and is about to reminisce about her favorite deep jungle excursions on Castrovel when the ship begins to shudder. She spins in her chair and her fingers glide over the console. At first she is stymied by the archaic controls, and remains confused why they are hitting turbulence. But then she checks the system board and locates a series of faults emanating from the cargo bay.
"Whatever is causing this seems to be coming from the cargo pods on the ship." She keeps her voice steady to mask her alarm. "I'll continue to manage damage control from here but someone should investigate."

He could also enter the open cargo holds and deal to whatever is in there.
From Soarin's current position, he could hear the rumbling vibrations of the hull caused by the cargo doors being opened and quickly surmise that something has occurred in the cargo bay. Presumably, Rilynn gave everyone a "heads up" over the comms in your armor if not that of the ship. However, any responsive movement by Soarin would have to occur on your turn.
