@Haechi and Olaf, you're not first in the initiative, but I'll keep those rolls for your turn. Since Haechi would be up now (all alone in the tracker), I'm going to assume they still fire off their magic missile to keep things moving. If either of you wants to change your action away from the magic missile, feel free to post that on your turn (right now for Haechi).
With the necromancer's direction, the undead seem a bit more coordinated in their efforts. The blue skeleton rushes forward and raises its shield in Haka's face.
The necromancer moves forward and fires off a beam of purple energy at Haka.

With a growl Haka chops first at the skeleton then the zombie that bar his way to the necromancer.

Retcon time...
Haechi blanches when he sees Haka go down so quickly under the combined attacks of the necromancer and his skeletal minion. "Oh dear! Oh dearie me!" In his rising panic, he looks about him and instinctively calculates how fast he can escape. He is instantly flooded with shame. ”I will not leave my friends to their fates. The great Apsu will help us prevail. This corrupt creature will pay for his crimes.”
And with his backbone thus restored, he casts his spell...
Magic Missile it is.
GM NovelEnigma |
Alexion would negate 3 damage out of 11, leaving 8 left, and Haka only had 6 hp remaining.
Luz Lumino |
if the Skeleton made that choice :). It wouldn't know how much many hit points Haka has left and it woudd be enfeebled 2.

Definitely a free action on the necromancer. Looks like both recalls failed, so no bonus.
Olaf revives Haka, who manages to open their eyes and look at the rather risky situation they are in.
Luz easily hits the necromancer with an arrow, making the caster seem very nervous with the blood flowing freely from him.
Seeing no one needing healing right now but seeing a ton of undead, Larraz casts a three-action heal to blast everything.

One of the skeletons completely ignores the energy, while the other only seems slightly affected.
All three of the zombies seem more disrupted by the energy.
The blue skeleton swings at Alexion, but both of its attacks are parried by the dagger-wielding champion.

Haechi |
With his defensive wall of mighty fighters holding strong against any undead incursion into his vicinity, Haechi feels comfortable enough to continue taking the fight directly to the necromancer. He glances at his shoulder and is mildly annoyed to find Haetae missing. "Get your fanny out here Haetae; I need you." With a little grumbling, his familiar crawls out of the backpack where she’d been hiding and back onto his shoulder.
Haechi reaches over and touches her with his finger. "This may tickle a little." The kobold wizard then concentrates and Haetae glows for a second as the magical essence stored within her passes to her master.
Action (◇): Drain Bonded Item: Drain Familiar: Haetae
With the magical energy recovered from his familiar, Haechi recasts his earlier spell. He once again claps his hands three times quickly; opens his arms wide; says, "fulminis iterum ad magus mortis,"; and brings his hands together with a crash. Three bolts of pure energy once again shoot out of his fingertips and fly down the street, smashing into the nefarious necromancer.

Olaf Spiritwell |
The necromancer's out of range anyway. But unless I'm missing something, the 3-action heal is indiscriminate -- it's everything within 30'.
GM NovelEnigma |
Wow, Haechi, you're really making me appreciate Magic Missile against boss enemies. Ignoring their higher AC and Saves is a really smart idea! If he had Shield prepared, I definitely would have been casting it instead of 3 action harm after the first volley, but he didn't.
Haechi unleashes another volley of magical force bolts that smack into the necromancer and knock him unconscious. His last words are in necril, "彼らを殺す!"
The undead don't seem like they are stopping their offensive.
Alexion slashes out at the zombie in front of him and then raises his shield.

The zombies show their lack of martial skill by most of their attacks, completely missing everything, though one does manage to score a glancing blow on the very wounded Haka.
The yellow skeleton instinctually isn't a fan of sources of positive energy, so it focuses on Aidan instead of Haka.

The skeleton's first attack leaves a deep gash in Aidan, but its second attack fails as part of the skeleton's armor gets wedged into its arm socket, locking up its arm.
The grey zombie can't get into the melee, so it shambles around towards Luz.

Luz takes out the yellow skeleton leaving only one skeleton and one zombie left to deal with.

Haka expects the first attack and deflects it, but the second surprises him, but with the creatures weakened energy and Haka's half-orc ferocity, he simply takes the blow with a wicked and defiant smile.

GM NovelEnigma |
Your return trip to Caliphas is surprisingly mundane. You don’t have any tasks other than to get home in one piece, so you can carefully maneuver the Gravelands to avoid both challenging terrains as well as any lingering patrols, taking the time you need with the cargo you obtained.
When you arrive back at the Vodavani Lodge, you see Venture-Captain Evni Zongnoss casting healing spells on and fussing over a few Pathfinders whom she and her team extracted during their mission into the Gravelands. She greets you, solemnly listens to your debriefing of the slain Pathfinders they encountered, and eagerly welcomes any discoveries you uncovered.
She asks that the PCs "If you found any, please return any belongings of the Pathfinders you found so they could be delivered to the fallen’s families, especially wayfinders."[/b]
Evni accepts the bodies of the non-Pathfinders nonetheless, "I promise that I'll try my best to find if they have any surviving loved ones."
The documents and texts the PCs return are all of great use to the Society, but the statue, in particular, amazes Evni, to the point that she wonders out loud the effort required to transport such a thing across the Gravelands.
Evni is excited to see at least one survivor in Larraz, "Larraz! I imagine you'd like to return home to Katapesh after...well after all this."
Larraz accepts, "I am eager to return home to my family, but don't count me out of the Pathfinders yet. This group was inspirational in their cooperation and effectiveness. Maybe I'll join them someday."
The End!
