Misty kit |
Misty fires two quick darts at the yellow bot, hoping to free Sturmvanger up.

Yellow collapses into a pile of spare parts.
Blue (shaken) moves in to take Yellow's place.
blade: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 7 - 2 = 25 bludgeoning: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Orange (shaken) tries to wallop El'zar while flanking with Purple
blade: 1d20 + 7 + 0 ⇒ (9) + 7 + 0 = 16 bludgeoning: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Green scuttles past Purple and also has a go at El'zar

Jersey is up
phaeton_nz |
If it left your threatened area - sure
Jersey 12 Joro |
Jersey grabs his disk from the sky and rushes to aid El'zar. "Three on one! We need to even those odds!" Moving through Misty to avoid blue
Singing disk vs EAC: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 vs Orange

Seggas, Von Juntz, El'zar and Sturmvanger are up.
Seggas Yakan, DVM DMD |
Seggas lines up another shot as she moves a step to get into better shooting range. As she does, she loads another shot of nanobots into her gun.
BioBolter ‘Bii’ (Castrolance) vs Blue EAC: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Acid Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
As she hits the nanobots spread over the blue robot, breaking down armor and joints as they do.
-2 AC and 50% movement speed to Blue!
Sturmvanger |
Sturmvanger sees Seggas' shot connect with Blue and takes a swipe at it, as well, hoping to eliminate one of the damage platforms.
Tactical Doshko): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Piercing: 1d12 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
But he has been rattled by too many hits and can't focus on his target.
Von Junzt |
Von Junzt moves up and tries one of his spinnerets on green:
Restraining spinneret vs. Green's EAC: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Rounds entangled (if it hits): 1d4 ⇒ 3
Entangled: You move at half speed, you cannot run or charge, and you take a –2 penalty to your AC, attack rolls, Reflex saving throws, initiative checks, and Dexterity-based skill and ability checks.
Ending the entangled condition requires the target to succeed at an Acrobatics check or Strength check as a move action (DC 14).
phaeton_nz |
Red: -2; Green: -3 entangled; Blue: -5 -2AC slowed; Purple: 0
Purple moves past Green and has a go at Von Juntz
blade: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26 bludgeoning: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Misty is up.

((Botting Misty))
Misty fires two more quick darts at Blue.
Needler: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (17) + 7 - 4 = 20 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Needler: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (11) + 7 - 4 = 14 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
and much to her amazement and delight, cracks radiate from both impact points and Blue collapses into pieces.
Green, even though entangled, moves and continues having a go at El'zar
blade: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 7 - 2 = 11 bludgeoning: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Jersey is up.
Jersey 12 Joro |

phaeton_nz |
Somehow the sonic disk must have hit a resonate frequency as purple vibrates to pieces.
Red continues hitting Sturmvanger
blade: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 7 - 4 = 7 bludgeoning:: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
blade: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 7 - 4 = 22 bludgeoning:: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Seggas, Von Juntz, El'zar, Sturmvanger and Misty are up.
Sturmvanger |
Sturmvanger takes another hit and, even with his will hardened skin, it is too much for him.
He collapses at the feet of the robot.
Spending an RP to Stabilize.
Von Junzt |
Von Junzt moves closer and demoralizes red, despite its recent achievement.
Intimidate to Demoralize red: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (9) + 15 = 24
The DC of this check is equal to either 10 + your opponent’s total Intimidate skill bonus, or 15 + 1-1/2 × the opponent’s CR, whichever is greater. If you succeed, the target is shaken for 1 round. The duration increases by 1 round for every 5 by which the result of your check exceeds the DC.
Von Junzt’s Special Shaken: You take a –2 penalty to attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks while you have the shaken condition.
Seggas Yakan, DVM DMD |
Seggas pulls out a small vial and sticks her thumb nail into the seal on the top of it as a needle extends from her pointer finger, draining the contents of the vial she pumps the liquid into Bii. At the last second a second needle extends from her fingers and injects another liquid. Raising Bii, she fires a glob of differently colored acid at El'zar. "STURM YOU ARE NOT GOING TO SEE SAM, NOT YET AT LEAST! El'zar, stay up! You'll need to possible heal him again!"
Loading a healing serum into her weapon and then adding a biohack to boost El'zar's AC by +1. Given how close he is, and she has scanned him, this attack will automatically hit and, due to injection expert, not deal damage.
Mk. 1 Serum of Healing: 1d8 ⇒ 2
Sorry Strum, El'zar got to you first and could use the healing himself.
phaeton_nz |
Green tries to get that AOO off on El'zar
blade: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 7 - 2 = 16 bludgeoning: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Misty kit |
"I have some more healing here!"
Thanks to Misty Kit's earlier linkage to the team, they fly through the control of their biohacker and they launch a healing serum at El'Zar as well.
Mk1. Serum of Healing: 1d8 ⇒ 1
Edit: Oh come on. The DM was getting better results when they were playing me!
phaeton_nz |
Red: -2 & demoralised; Green: -3
Green attempts to break the entanglement
acrobatics: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Whether or not it suceeds or fails, it then shoots at the nearest Starfinder, Jersey, with it's integrated azimuth laser rifle.
v EAC: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 fire: 1d8 ⇒ 7
It's eyebeam is also powering up to fire. Red's eyebeam is also powering up.
Jersey is up.
Seggas Yakan, DVM DMD |
Seggas, noticing the powering eyebeams starts to dance and shout and holler, seeing what she can do to get their attention.
Not sure if there's anything rules wise for this, but if Seggas can pull attention for those beams onto herself, she will.
Jersey 12 Joro |
Jersey steps in to take a position between the two remaining robots and swings at green.
Singing disk vs EAC: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Damage (So): 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
phaeton_nz |
Red: -2 & demoralised; Green: -9
Red fires up the eye beam and the line rips through El'zar and Seggas. It cannot comprehend why Seggas is jumping up and down and saying "Hit me with your best shot" but since there was more than one enemy in the line, it fired.
face laser: 1d6 ⇒ 6 fire & electricity DC 9 ref for half.
Everyone except Jersey is up.
Sturmvanger |
Sturmvanger awakens from a dreadful dream where he was surrounded by fighting and couldn't do anything about it.
Things aren't much different when he regains consciousness but at least he can do something about it.
He grabs his doshko from where it fell out of his hands and slashes at the red robot standing over him.
Tactical Doshko minus Prone: 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 5 - 4 = 16
Piercing: 1d12 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Von Junzt |
Von Junzt demoralizes green this time:
Intimidate to Demoralize green: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18
The DC of this check is equal to either 10 + your opponent’s total Intimidate skill bonus, or 15 + 1-1/2 × the opponent’s CR, whichever is greater. If you succeed, the target is shaken for 1 round. The duration increases by 1 round for every 5 by which the result of your check exceeds the DC.
Von Junzt’s Special Shaken: You take a –2 penalty to attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks while you have the shaken condition.
Misty kit |
Misty Kit quickly slaps another serum into their pistol.
"Please stay up El'Zar. I don't have many of these left."
Mk1. Serum of Healing: 1d8 ⇒ 4
phaeton_nz |
Red: -12 & demoralised; Green: -9 & demoralised
The doshko slams into Red severly damaging it but it's still active.
((Waiting on Seggas))
Seggas Yakan, DVM DMD |
Seggas brushes off the energy beam from the eyes of the robot and moves to get into a position where she and the mostly healthy Joro are in a line together. She keeps jumping up and down continuing her song. "♫...Fire awaaayy!♫" She looks over at Jersey, "Really never thought I'd end up going back to back with a Joro, but I'm glad you're here!"
She takes aim at the monster of a robot harming her partner and fires a shot at him. "Com'on Bii, Give me the strong stuff!"
BioBolter ‘Bii’ (Castrolance) vs Red EAC: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Acid Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
phaeton_nz |
Which dissolves Red into a pile of components.
The last one left, Green, calculates where it should be to get the most number of Starfinders, moves to that point, and fires it's eyebeam through Misty, El'zar and Sturmvanger
face laser: 1d6 ⇒ 2 fire & electricity DC 9 ref for half.
Jersey plus everyone else is up.
Seggas Yakan, DVM DMD |
Seggas gives a curse, "You Mother******ing Machine. I was RIGHT HERE!"
In her anger, she raises Bii and takes another shot.
BioBolter ‘Bii’ (Castrolance) vs EAC: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Acid Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4
She anger leaves her shaking and throws her aim off as she fires wide.
Seggas Yakan, DVM DMD |
Dangit two nat 1s for attack rolls? GM mind rolling for Misty again seems they're the hottest dice on the table right now!
Sturmvanger |
Refl: 1d20 ⇒ 18
Sturmvanger lurches to his feet, aided partially by two sharp, rapid flaps of his wings. The motion is enough for him to avoid the worst of the eye blast but even with that assistance, his armor slows him down enough so that he can't quite get within reach of the last robot, but he's just a step away.
Von Junzt |
Von Junzt doubles moves around the group, towards the robot, already imagining this will take at least one more round.
It's unfortunate, but all my good spells and augments are worthless against the unliving.
Misty kit |
Yeah, I've noticed that too.
Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Misty Kit loads a biohack in their gun and attempts to impart sonic vulnerability on the last target.
Needler: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13Piercing Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Jersey 12 Joro |
Jersey runs after green before it can get another shot off and smashes into it with the singing disk.
Singing disk vs EAC: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Damage (So): 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
phaeton_nz |
Between the two of them, the last robot is destroyed with pieces scattered in a 10ft radius area.
=== Combat Over ===
There is nothing to stop you from taking a breather.
El'zar Ill Magnificao |
El'zar using healing touch to give Sturmvanger some more HP (10). Then rests himself and uses the rest of his mystic cures on anyone else who might need it.
mystic cure I for Von juntz i guess: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
and the excess will top off El'zars HP.
Von Junzt |
Von Junzt was 1 hp down only - somehow the robots didn't see him as a threat
Von Junzt recharges stamina and his spinneret.
Seggas Yakan, DVM DMD |
Seggas pats herself down and double checks, but yup, she didn't take any damage from that fight...except maybe a sore throat from screaming.
"Well those robots almost seemed trained to hit a target until it goes down. I have a serum of healing or two left in my pack if anyone wants one."
She moves over to Sturmvanger and doublechecks he's okay but it seems their chef did a good job on that front. She then decides to sit down next to him and replenish her biohacks.
Spending an RP to 'recover' stamina and biohacks just in case there's more.
phaeton_nz |
Once you are healed up and ready to go, you make your way to the Lorespire Complex without further incident.
When you get there, it’s immediately clear that a massive battle has just taken place. The charred and crushed remains of robots identical to the ones you fought in Drifter’s End lay scattered across the lawns and courtyards. Armed Starfinders stand stationed at each entrance to the main building. Many of these guards bear the familiar Exo-Guardians emblem or wear gear and insignia associated with Radaszam’s Obsidian Spiders mercenary outfit. As Starfinders, you automatically know that these are both factions associated with the Society that actively recruit combat trained agents into their ranks—it’s clear that they have come together to defend the Lorespire Complex in its time of need. These Starfinders nod grimly to you as you pass but are too involved in their tasks to offer further assistance or conversation.
As you approach the facility, you are intercepted by Celita, the android leader of the Dataphiles Faction. She’s wearing an armoured vest under her usual attire, carries a rifle slung across her back, and is clearly out of breath from physical exertion - which is a bit unusual for an android.
After introducing herself, Celita turns a stoic face to the group. You must be the Starfinders scheduled to arrive today. It’s impressive that you managed to bridge this distance so quickly. Thanks to your quick reflexes, and to the efforts of a veteran team who helped defend the Complex grounds from those machines, we were able to evade the worst of this attack. The Archives and Guidance remain uncorrupted by the virus—for now. She pauses, glancing overhead to the patchwork of erratically moving starships visible in the artificial sky. Most of Absalom Station is still reeling from the attack. There’s currently no way to estimate the full extent of the infrastructure damage. It’s unclear whether Absalom Station was the sole target, or if this is one of many coordinated attacks across our system. As soon as I have more data, I’ll pass it on. Stand by for now.
