Unfortunately the bear doesn't have the climb speed it would need to do this. Though Acrobatics (Dex) or Athletics (Str) aren't a listed skill it can still use them untrained.

Also glad you were able to catch that in Cat's Cradle. :)

Khagra stomps across the log with ease, showing everyone around how much he owned that log. Grimmylow wobbles a considerable amount more as the goblin nearly falls off, due to pointing out one of the sunken areas in the earth. Marked the one you pointed out to everyone as orange.

Marcius slips and slides across the log, scraping his shins, elbows and chin as falls into the leaves below.

Znobe makes it to the top as he scans a small area for movement. While he doesn't spot anything living he does notice the carcass of a deer lying in the trees.

@Dinardin- You can certainly try to secure a grappling hook, but you can already use an athletics check. Crossing the tree trunk requires a successful DC 12 Acrobatics check to Balance. Alternatively, you can attempt to scale the nearby walls with a successful DC 15 Athletics check to Climb.

The chupacabra rushes from the wooded patch to the north as it leaps out and pounces onto Znobe.

Grimmylow sends flames shooting forth into the brush as the Chupacabra appears. The beast leaps above the fire as it ignites the bushes and misses the chupacabra completely.

Marcius magically enhances Dinardin's weapons as Burney also tries to catch the creature in a wave of flames.

The Chupacabra is far more agile than the goblins could have ever expected. Dinardin's halberd slashes across it's side, exposing several ribs causing it to turn and hiss at him. Both of Znobe's arrows stick into the tree trunk nearby as they miss their intended target.

With the orc nearby the Chupacabra grabs ahold of Khagra. Twisting around the orc the chupacabra sinks its teeth into his necka nd quickly begins draining the blood from him. Drained 1 and Chupacabra is now quickened. It seems invigorated as the fresh blood drips from its chin.

Znobe steadies himself sending two arrows at the creature, hpoing to injure it and slow it down. The first he aims at the creatures heart, where it strikes causing the creature to start to breath deeply. The second arrow scrapes past the Chupacabra, Znobe looks closely spying if the arrow hit.

He then calls out to Bere to come and help. Znobe hears a lot of scrabbling as he hears the bear attempt to climb the crumbling walls. The scrabbling sound continues until Bere makes his way to the top of the wall.

GM - My fault for not mentioning it, but Dinardin's entire build is centered around his reaction (Retributive Strike). It's why he carries a reach weapon. Can I please take my reaction when the chupacabra attacks Khagra?

Retributive Strike:

So first of all, Khagra gains resistance 3 to that attack, meaning he loses 3 fewer hit points. Second, Dinardin gets to attack the chupacabra as a reaction.

Retributive Strike, w/ magic weapon: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 1 = 102d10 + 4 ⇒ (9, 6) + 4 = 19

Then Dinardin moves up and attacks twice.

1. Step.
2. Strike.
3. Strike.

Halberd v. Chupacabra, w/ magic weapon: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 7 + 1 = 262d10 + 4 ⇒ (3, 4) + 4 = 11

@Dinardin- Let me know if you want to use your Retributive Strike for that attack against Khagra and go ahead and roll your Retributive Strike roll.

@Khagra- You were grabbed so are immobilized. Shifted you back so you still have 1 action

Grimmylow quickly heals Khagra's injury once the Chupacabra unsinks it's fanged maw from the orc's neck. No longer drained as well. Khagra stabs down into the beasts ribcage. His trident's prones going deep in between the ribs.

Burney Burning hands DC 16 Reflex: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (14) + 13 = 27

Burney tries a few more flames but he watches as the Chupacabra begins to swing Khagra towards the fire to protect itself and quickly aims the jet of fire into the air.

Znobe has a clean shot and sinks an arrow into the Chupacabra's chest where it likely glanced the heart. It staggers a moment but barely maintains enough strength to stay standing. The second arrow misses.

Making it up the small ramp Marcius continues to guide Dinardin's hand and hopefully into the killing blow.

Ah thanks, we cross posted each other it appears.

While Dinardin's strike saves Khagra from a small portion of the attack. his followup has the halberd severe the creatures head from its body as it goes in for another meal.

The Chupacabra's body slips to the ground freeing Khagra at last.

Returning to Farmer Wilhuff with news of your victory he is deeply grateful for your work and provides your with the promised gold reward from the bounty posting. "I have more good news. While you were away I found one of the Alpaca's to be pregnant, with Majesty being the father. Would any of you be willing to let me name the soon to be born alpaca after you?"

That is the end of the bounty. I will work on finishing chronicles here today and have them out to you this evening. Hope you all enjoyed the game. Please feel free to continue roleplaying if you wish to as I do wish to hear who the Alpaca is named after.

As the chupacabra fall, the thing get out of Marcius' backpack. It is the doll! It as animated by herself!

Rapidly, Marcius pushes back the doll into the backpack asking her to not move. Surprisingly, she listens.

I will need look after this later when i am all alone.

Marcius is open that the newborn has his name. Also wow! It was an elite level 3 creature and it falls down just like this.

I didn't forget, but you didn't say how long the duration was. I thought a hex only affected "the next Strike". So what I suggest any time you provide a buff you provide a link to how it works and put the name in "bigger" text to remind people. Like this:

Dinardin has MAGIC WEAPON, providing +1 item bonus to attack rolls and increasing the number of weapon damage dice to two.

Good idea! Writting it in big letter with a link! Hex are spell that need to be substain each round by the caster until one minute goes.

Also, i am reading back my commentary and i was kinda rude to Dinardin.. I could have written "i didn't see x buff" or something like that.

I just want to say also that before this post, i was on another game where i needed to remind the gm about particuliar buff every time.So after seeing a similar event, I had realised the error was on my side and i was asking for help..

I am still responsable for what i have written. So, sorry.

When I see common long buffs I also try to put them in the tracker as well. Something like, but it can get a bit crazy with the 1 round buffs:

Thanks for running, it was great fun and quite scary, even if it didn't last long. The threat was there, drain, missing on a roll of 21 and knowing it had plenty of health (cos they all do) ....

Yeah, man. It was a good group.

Marcius, I've been right where you were. Getting players to remember your buffs is hard enough in a face to face game. When I went to GenCon last time, I wrote the buffs on neon pink stickies and slapped it onto their character sheets! But in an online game it can be tricky.
