A place for out-of-character discussion.

Out of Character, I would say this sounds like an Aspis trap to capture/kill some Pathfinder agents. Or a triple agent that just wants the Apis and PF's to fight, so she can run off with the goods. But either of those might be too complex to resolve in a single session.

@GM Valen - There are a lot of icons on the map and sometimes telling friend from foe can be a little tough. Perhaps bordering the PC icons would make it easier to tell them apart at a glance?

Red border added to NPCs.

Sorry for the lack of posting. I will move us along tomorrow (within the next 24 hours).

We need to remember not to be obviously Pathfinders.
So my first thought is a brawl. Takes no particular social skills. If some of you go in to get a table and into place. When getting a little closer to time. The Ifrit and I go in with our pets. The horse and mammoth can 'accidentally' bump into so tables to cause a ruckus. If that doesn't start a fight, we can bump into your table so that you can be offended, get mad, and start swinging. During the fight, some of us can 'run away' to knock down the back doors. At least until the local authorities are called. Then we all clear out.
That isn't the only possibility of course. But it doesn't require any particular social skills.
Other ideas welcome.

How about simply staggering how we enter the bar and order some food?
I know it is a fantasy game but it seems really strange that a person would think that entering a bar and starting a fight would be more normal than ordering breakfast?
Surely mercenaries, travellers and very strange people need to eat a meal and unless we scream out we are Pathfinders how are these people going to know?

I'm good with staggering our entry. We just need to create a big muck-up around noon. That should be pretty easy to do. Accuse the owner of selling crappy pearls. Spill a drink on someone or somehow else pick a fight to start a brawl. Micah will go in with Fyl imo, since two Ifrits together make a lot more sense than coming in separately.

That really is not a good idea for so many reasons. A lot of the characters are good aligned in the party.

Not that it matters anymore for the scenario, but you might want to think through that logic a little more. The party is already willing to do property damage and possible bodily harm by starting a bar room brawl. That's not very different than starting a controlled fire that will force a fire evacuation. The latter at least reduces the chances of physical injury.

The potential for a fire to rage out of control is significant especially in a city not built in the modern era. On the other hand a bar room brawl is a daily occurrence.
GM Valen
Sorry for the delay. Mondays often require a lot of catch up on work and there are a lot of "moving parts" in this stretch of the scenario.

Proposal:
We have enough crates to work with to control the battlefield. Let's move them around to make a labyrinth of death while the party sits on the 2nd floor to observe/make ranged attacks. Pets can intercept in the maze.
We can check all the secret doors to make sure none of them are additional entrances. If they are, we can seal them off as well... and hopefully not miss an air vent.

My schedule is going to be wierd for the next 10 days. I think I will still be able to post every day. But if not, just bot me.
BiggerBird likes most people. He would rather scare people away than have to kill them. But he is very unhappy about these drug dealers. They need to be dealt with harshly.

We are getting close to the conclusion. Please make sure that your info is correct in the Recruitment Thread as I will be using that to create the chronicles.

My information is correct. I just wanted to confirm that we were able to resolve a combat encounter non-violently with the Kortos Consortium. This is for the Season 10 reward sheet.

Mine is correct as well. Thanks for running the scenario! I haven't gotten to play Micah & Ponya that much, so it was fun.

He will definitely evolve and there are for sure parallels between eidolons and that other game of which we do not mention*.
So perhaps Micah will finally name his fire horse that name at that point, just to confuse more people. :D
*Why don't we mention it? No actual reason, I just thought it would be funnier to not mention it.

Confirmed!

Sorry I was absent most of the last week. It was supposed to be alternating shifts, not 2 shifts a day.
Info is correct. Thanks for running.
Does this scenario lead to another? That ending sorta seems like it is leading to something specific.
GM Valen
My apologies. I thought that I had posted the chronicle sheets, but either my memory has failed me or the boards ate my post. The game has already been reported.
Chronicles can be downloaded here.
Please let me know of any additions or corrections. I will mark the campaign thread inactive once I have confirmation on the chronicles from all of the players or one week, whichever comes first.
Thanks for a fun run and I look forward to sharing a table with each of you in the future!

You posted them in the recruitment thread. I got mine and it looks good. Thanks!
GM Valen
I am leaving town on June 11th and will mark this table inactive at that time unless I receive confirmation of receipt of the chronicles from the other players before that time.

It looks good to me. Thanks. :)
