Just a heads up, In the morning I'm taking a friend to the nearest 'City' (Columbus Ohio) for an out-patient procedure. So I will not be posting at my regular time. I'll be up later tomorrow than normal and should be able to get any posting done before I head to bed.

So I focused on the roll and not reacting to the possible effect. Now that I've reread it, I probably should have spent more time on my post.

I thought this was well written, and hadn't determined how Elathras would respond. I was just waiting for everyone to post. I didn't find it offensive at all. I'll probably wait till the morning to post, but I'll certainly respond some way. Again, a well written post that was totally appropriate.

I thought it was well done as well. Pretty cool and intense.

I'm just glad Uma made her save. Oh my gosh, that would've been totally embarrassing. :P

@Javell, I think Uma hasn't levelled up yet to level 7, is that correct? Her header is at level 6, but her profile stats are still at level 5. For this situation, is Umazura for instance going to cast Haste or Good Hope, which she might have at level 7? Asking because it'd be useful to know what spells the other casters are picking. I could use my one haste here but well... I only have one :)

Suppose a reminder on the Haste front that @Bharak can also cast Haste once per day while he has the Stength Sihedron equipped!

You are correct. I haven't. And I did not realize she's still at level 5. Ugh. Apologies. Between working 6 days a week as much as I have and working to find time to spend with family, I've had a difficult time finding time for the boards. It's usually late - like it is now - and I'm just flat-out too exhausted to mentally do much.

I've got her leveled up in herolabs, I just need to get it over on her profile. It's just the time involved to get it all done is what I'm seriously lacking.

She will take both of those. Haste and Good Hope. Those are some good ones.

Apologies. Technical problems with my PC had it out of action for most of the day. No update.

@everyone remember we have both blessing of fervor and haste. That can help a lot on attack rolls such as scorching ray and such. But also defensively on the dodges.

You know, whenever I think of blessing of fervor, all I ever think about is the final bullet point:

Cast a single spell of 2nd level or lower as if it were an enlarged, extended, silent, or still spell.

None of that helped me for scorching ray in this instance, but that +2 to attack certainly would.

And I forgot all about haste! Thanks for the reminder.

So I know after reading they are fanatics even the prospect of surrendering allowing some of her fallen sisters to live might not sway them, but I think Elena would at least try before rejoining the fight.

Had a bad migraine, lay down and took a nap. Did I miss anything?

Don't think you did. It reads as through we pause for a around to give them a chance to surrender. Which they'll probably ignore and then we continue whooping them the next round?

Sadly I'm still down. Tired and aching joints mainly. No energy for anything but drowsing in bed. Hopefully it will clear over the weekend.

Probably, but she didn't ask about the actions Elathras was taking while she tied up the maiden, she lectured him in the goodness of mankind :)

I'm not even sure she would know what he's doing with the swords, shields, etc. when he finally tossed them in the water he's two rooms away and she's clearly wrapped up in taking care of the maiden.

Fair enough i suppose. I guess it's up to the others and Elathras on what to do with the loot while Elena is busy.

Returned from overseas! Was welcomed back warmly by work, with lots to do, and some unexpected family medical issues and the sad reality that my computer is fully dead (only posting via phone until I buy a new one). Will catch up with the game as soon as possible.

Hey gang, I'll be traveling for the next couple of weeks for a family vacation. I expect to be able to post for the most part, but there will be a couple of times that I'm off the grid. GM, feel free to bot me if my absence is holding things up.

No update, I've been at the Doctors and need a rest after a checkup.

Tomorrow is Matariki here in New Zealand, a public holiday so it is likely there will be no update again.

Sorry, no update again. A change in medication is not going well.

As some of you may remember I'm on anti-inflammatories due to severe arthritis.

Last year this caused me a lot of trouble when the anti-inflammatories started eating through my stomach lining, causing pain and acid-reflux.

My Doctor changed my medication and after a period of adjustment things seemed to have settled.

Over the last couple of months I had increasing abdominal pain, and worse blood in my stool.

So I'm off anti-inflammatories completely, and on medication to try and restore my internal linings.

Internally things seem to be slowly improving, however with only paracetamol as a pain killer things are much more unpleasant. Currently my main activity is finding a comfortable position to lay in while hoping the painkillers finally do something.

The arthritis is in my shoulders, hips and knees. So moving is awkward and painful. It's a family trait sadly.

Hopefully my internal linings will recover and I can get some form of anti-inflammatory. I've been using them for 15 or so years to be mobile and being off them is crippling for me.

*I am not giving up running my games. I will hopefully be adjusted, or find a working painkiller to be more active soon!

Thanks for the heads up GM_DBH, Having arthritis in my knees I don't even want to guess how uncomfortable you are. Hopefully things will adjust quickly for you. But don't worry about us, were not going anywhere.

DBH, as I said in another thread, if there's anything you need to help take some of this game's burden off of you, let us know.

Hope you feel better soon, DBH. I wish I could do something to help you except wish you all the best. I echo Axton in that if we could help with running the game somehow, please let us know.

Sorry to report there has been no improvement.

The cold weather down here is really hammering my arthritis. It doesn't matter how warm I keep it inside my home. The temperature drops and my joints ache.

Coming to the end of winter so hopefully things will warm up a little. Wellington is a harbor city, on a strait and close to Antarctica so the wind chill is nasty.

I hope to get things moving again soon.

And I gotta confess, it's difficult for me to wish for warmer weather for you. I say that because here in Texas, over the past 3 weeks or so, we've averaged around 105° Fahrenheit for the high pretty much daily. I think it got to 108° today. Yesterday was near that - if not that - as well.

If we hit 99° for the high, we'll probably cheer in excitement. :P

(Obviously, I'm joking. Hopefully, it will warm up for you asap. Whatever helps). :)

Some good news for a change. It seems that one of my internal problems was caused by having to go through two heavy anti-biotic regimes thanks to the Cellulitis I had this year.

This stripped out my stomachs good bacteria leaving me suffering due to the anti-inflammatories I'm taking.

I've been on a course of pro-biotics which have made a difference. My internal discomfort is mostly gone now.

I still have the arthritis pain, but with one source of discomfort removed the pain-killers are working more effectively.

I will start updating again in a day or two when things are settled a bit more for me.

Yes, this area counts as Underground terrain. You're still under the actual lighthouse in the complex carved out of the headlands rock.
