Turns out that my aching knee and swollen calf were being caused by a skin infection that has now fully bloomed. Which leaves me on my back, keeping it elevated and dry while taking lots of anti-biotics.
In other news did you know that taking lots of anti-biotics can cause diarrhea?

I did, actually!
Taking a pro-biotic or eating yogurt can help offset some of that.
I read the discussion thread earlier and was thinking about a comment while I got breakfast and the ever important coffee. Now, after the diarrhea conversation I'm not sure how to join in without sounding either trite or snarky.
For what it's worth the yogurt does sound like a good idea.
GM_DBH I hope you get feeling better, once you're up to conversations I may ask you more about the aching knee, cause I've got one of those too :(

Just wanted to let you know that I got your pun, and that I appreciate it.
The story is that I have a sty on my eyelid that I'd had surgically removed (it really hurt to do that), but it keeps coming back. Applying heat and using lid scrubs aren't doing much, so I was given an antibiotic to help (because a sty is just an infected tear duct). The antibiotics did Very Bad Things to my digestion, but it did help the sty, somewhat, so I'm currently on a much lower dosage of antibiotics for a longer period of time, and that's helping the sty situation (along with the heat compress and the eyelid scrubs).
I hope you've all enjoyed this insight into my exciting life.

Sorry folks but I'm still not in good enough health. It may be a few more days depending on what the Doctor says. It is mainly the medication knocking me out.

It is a bad case of Cellulitis
The major problem is the infected area is constantly weeping. This means the dressings get soaked and make the infection worse. So I'm on a powerful diuretic as well as taking antibiotics 4 times a day as well.
It does seem to be working, slowly. I had the dressings changed today and the infected area is shrinking thankfully.
I still can't recall how I got the infection though? A small scratch on my ankle that suddenly flared up into a painful infection.
Hopefully it will keep improving and I'll be back to updating by Monday. Thanks for your patience.

Bad news no update tonight.
Good news the infection is visibly getting better and hopefully it won't be much longer before it is gone.
By visibly better I mean the surrounding area is no longer red and inflamed. Still a small, infected area that is very painful.
Very painful as the dressings were changed today and I got an old school nurse who poured saline solution over the area and scrubbed it clean. She looked a little disappointed that she didn't get any screams out of me. :)
Way to show that healthcare worker who's boss, DBH!

No update tonight sorry. Infection improving a lot. Medication still chaining me to the bathroom. Thankfully I'm on the last days of it.

I think that if we were to follow our previous-stated goal of moving together as a group, then Bharak will be one square east, Uzamara will be right next to him (two squares east of where I see her now), and then Axton right behind her. Elena would be to the side of Uzamara's new position, since she's to her side now.
I'm going to go ahead and move everyone as described above. If I'm being presumptuous, we can move them back.

The ceiling is 15' above you. 8' in the corridors, 15' in the rooms unless otherwise noted.
Okay, then by my (very shaky) math, if I aim a fireball centered at the ceiling above a square that's at least 3 squares (15 ft) away from anyone in the party, we should be safe from it.
EDIT: And then I just saw in the gameplay thread that he's dead. What a waste of some algebra!

On this topic, I am curious, would you have allowed Elena to damage an undead through the use of her healer's hands/incredible healer healing ability?

Healer's Hands has the line, "These benefits do not apply to creatures that are not healed by positive energy."

I've added all of it to the loot list.
Umazara and Axton are the only two PCs without a cloak of resistance +1. Umazara, since you got the rapier, are you okay if Axton takes the cloak?
Also, that loot list is kind of unwieldy. Can we clear out loot that's already been sold or that's been moved to someone else's alias?

As far as clearing out the loot list, works for me. I think anything that has been sold or owned by another pc can easily be erased from the list. I'm for that.

I was out visiting my Mother in Paraparaumu today and got home to find I'd left my phone and wallet out at her place.
Now have to head back out there to get them. :(

A place like "Paraparaumu" just sounds far away.
A quick google search shows that its in New Zealand 34 miles from the capital. Taking off my sleuthing hat, I'll just say: "round trip drives suck. Take it easy! it's horrible when you're tired to try and do anything that relies on brain activity.
lol. yeah I googled it to, then spent an hour looking at the islands in the area, thinking "I want to live near a beach!" The closest we've got is lake Erie, and trust me, there not really beaches...
I live in Houston, which is just 45 minutes from the armpit of the Gulf of Mexico. Not even counting any of the runoff from surrounding industry, the currents and the shape of the Gulf drop all of the mud and silt along the beaches here. But if you go just an hour south along the coast, the waters are beautiful.
I'm sure NZ's beaches are more beautiful, though.

Hey, Andostre, are you buried in ice in Houston? We are here in DFW. And it's not going away until at least Thursday.
Sleet and snow, bay-bee. Ugh. Man, I hate this kind of weather. I wished it was just snow. There are a few cars out but we walked to Whataburger just to get out and get something to eat. Fortunately, they were open for dine-in. Unlike the KFC next door. I don't get it. If you're going to be open, why not let people in? How much drive-thru business are you really going to get in this type of weather? Just doesn't make good business sense to me.
Especially, when you're the only two fast food places open. I know because I called a ton of them around me and the others never answered.
