I got confused by the aid another part of the description of the Demand action. I'll leave it up to Shifty if he'll allow J'Shun to use his Authority Medallion and just apply a +2 bonus to the missile attack instead of a +4.

Chorizal takes one look at the red flashing shield indicator in his aft arc and makes a quick decision.

Chivix took a deep breath and pressed a button on his armor. Draconic fluids poured from reservoirs deep in his armor to flood his body with chemicals. Time seemed to stand still as he and Gravy went into a kind of overdrive mode themselves, rushing from system to system and activating a cloud of nanobots he had personally brought aboard for just such an occasion. Shivix closed his compound eyes and saw through the nanobot swarm. Without his AI to assist, it was unlikely that he would have been able to do much more than let the cloud act autonomously, but with the dragonblood boosting his senses and Gravy's own intellect helping out, Chivix guided the swarm across the hull, patching the worst of the wounds in the Indefatigable's sides and giving them another chance. Hopefully it would make the difference, because as the dragonblood left his system, Chivix was a quivering wreck.

"Make...it...count." was all he got out before collapsing on the deck.

Chivix regained consciousness a few seconds later (9.3, according to Gravy) and struggled to the engineering station. The board was completely red, except for some minor flickerings of orange in the shield generator. Quickly he shunted the last of the engine reserves into shields, bulking up the port side and switching J'Shun's maxware (and how did he sneak that aboard?) into the front.

Ok I could rebalance but I'm not sure what we are planning maneuver wise. Would we rather I lock on to a ship for the to hit bonus?

Well your ship will be moving first, so I suppose you can work out your strat and what you now want to do with your positioning and the shields :)

Flyby might be the best option since we lost initiative. I think engines are glitching now so that is a penalty to piloting rolls. The forward arc weapons are now glitching and the turret weapons are now malfunctioning, so they take -2 and -4 penalties respectively.

I'm going to try a Barrel Roll. I can get behind the ship that's currently ahead of us and put our starboard toward them for this turn. That gives us max shields but only turret weapons. I put an X where we would end up but the barrel roll will flip our port and starboard. Anyone have a better idea?

No I can do a lock on try try to mitigate the damage. I can also switch rolls next round do so some patching for engineering

Don't they get an AOO if we fly through their hex?

I have enough speed and maneuverability to get to that spot without flying through their hex. I could also do a flyby which would let us target any one of their quadrants with any one of our arcs but that involves flying through their hex and they get an AoO if I fail. I'm open to suggestions but I think our only other good option is another backoff which puts us 4 hexes back (no turns) and gets the baddies out of the arc of the capital ship (if it's still of any help to us.)

"Hold on to your lunches!" Chorizal declares, he goes straight at the nearest drone but then loops around it's path, twisting the Indefatigable in a corkscrew what leaves them upside down in relation to their opponents when the guns start blazing.

Or that's what he tries. In the end, he has to abort the maneuver to avoid crashing.

Well...it was a good idea, anyway.
