Celly feels a bit sad she couldn't reach the last Joro in time. She just sits in the middle of the floor meditating and refocusing until the last of her rage leaves her.
Don't suppose anyone can hack into the robot's control circuit and find out where the hack came from? she asks.

![]() |

"An excellent idea, Tariana."
He turns to the draelik. "Do you know how to quickly contact the other divergents? Send them a message that we think they -- I mean all of us non-joro clones -- are being targeted."
Meanwhile, he looks at the drones to see if there's anything useful. Certainly they had a weapon mounted on them, but who knows what else he might find.
Perception, Take 10: 10 + 9 = 19
When he's done with whatever he finds (or doesn't find) on the robot, he takes a seat and waits for his teammates to recover.

Celly moves over to Seggas and whispers Mistress Seggas? Have you got a side profession you're not telling us about? Or is that just a tiefling thing?

![]() |

"Very well. Go there to meet them, if you feel well enough. Or stay here. It is up to you," Skorpahlich says and mentally dismisses the draelik from any further thoughts as he returns to picking through the remains of the robot.
Skorpy wasn't trying to hack it, just looking to see if anything was usable or salvageable amongst its weapons or parts.

![]() |

Seggas takes a look at the one person they weren't able to save and gives a sorrowful slither of her tongue. She instead focuses her attention on the problem Celly put forth of hacking the computer chips still left on the robots instead of starting to blame herself and grieve.
She picks over one of the robots and prays that she finds an mostly intact control unit.
Computers: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
She thinks she has lucked out, as she pulls a mostly phyiscally intact device out but she's not sure if she can get it to boot up properly...
As she works on the thing, Celly is able to blind side her with the her whispered conversation and the tiefling stops for a moment, before slowly whispering back, "It's more of a hobby than a profession... but it could be a tiefling thing, though. I've met more tieflings through this shared interest than through anything else. Also he was kinda cute..."

Shifty |

"Sure, this place doesn't look so good!" the Draelik notes the trashed hospital.
Skorp finds the bots just had the integrated weaponry they were firing.
Seggas rips out the command module and starts hacking it - the command signals appear to come from the area where the Draelik was attacked - a spot on the far edge of the vault...

![]() |

Celly just gives Seggas a knowing smile. It may be. My tiefling best friend, Chryssi, yeah .... well .... lemme put it this way. I've had to refer to her as Mistress Chryssi on occasions. And I'm sorry you had to see me do, as Chryssi would say, release my inner tiefling, although she would have been laughing seeing me attacking a robot with a chair. And yeah ... she was in Mistress mode when she 'suggested' I wear this see-thru armour.
Celly had to blush a bit while saying all that.
Maybe you've met her already. Technomancer, artistic model, pushes the limits of dress codes, and we work at the same club
A bit louder. Right ... I think we got the invitation. Who wants to gate crash a party?

![]() |

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27
Skorpahlich happens to overhear only a portion of the ladies' conversation. Nevertheless he's ... intrigued. He has almost no experience being physical with other genders or species, and certainly not in the manner he thinks they're talking about. He looks at Seggas in a new light, and he remembers thinking earlier about the "trouble" that Celly and Chryssi probably get into together. He abruptly steps away from the conversation before he gets too distracted. Or aroused.
"Yes. It is the time to resolve all of this," he says perhaps a bit too loudly.

Shifty |

You head to the area and it becomes pretty clear where you need to be; the trail leads to an out-of-the-way juncture on the border of the vault beyond the holographic border. Here, the Joros’ community aesthetic fades, revealing a complex network of metal pipes, circuitry, and scaffolding akin to the rest of Salvation’s End.
The metal ceilings are 12 feet high, all doors are automated sliding steel doors that open automatically when someone stands in front of them for six seconds.

Skorpahlich considers the options as he scans the complex for threats.
"Without any leads, one direction is as good as any other," he says as he turns to his right. "South first? then anti-spinward from there?"
If no one objects, he begins moving that way, hoping that Tariana will soon take the lead.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
"Anti-spinward" being future-speak for counterclockwise. Cause why would they still have analog 12-hour clock faces in the far future?

Tariana has her sword out, plus her two survival knives, and stays near the front.

You move down the hall, Tariana can see a number of cameras tracking your movement - as you arrive at the first door you find it locked.
The lights suddenly go out, enveloping you all in darkness. "Really? You think you're all walking in here and expecting to walk back out? You must be BozoJoros!"
A mechanical noise comes from the direction of one of the cameras.

Skorpahlich activates the IR sensors on his armor and attempts to track where the dart came from. He gingerly picks it up and carefully hands it to Seggas. "Can you tell what's in this? More importantly, can you conteract it if need be?" he asks their expert as he remembers her dart from their very first meeting.
Addressing the camera, he says "You've locked yourself in, safe and sound. Afraid of us, ChickenJoro?" he taunts the disembodied voice.
Skorp turns back to this comrades. "Come, let us find another way in."
He then marches south to the next set of doors.
Where are the cameras on the map? Can we reach them, or do we need to use reach/ranged attacks?

![]() |

Seggas gives a giddy laugh at the idea of a new poison. Her eyes already made to see in the dark she has no trouble taking the dart and pulling a sample of the poison off with a fingernail as he custom made medkit intergrated into her spinal cord with lines to her hands and fingers starts to whirr and analyze the liquid.

Celly also has Darkvision. She aloo has an annoyed look on her face.

I've kinda taken a liberty with her custom medlab, as it can be added to a brain or arm augmentation and I've made it so it works like both, which may or may not be kosher with the rules, but at a minimum it can be 'configured so it doesn't take up a hand to use' so her hands should be free.

Seggas gives a full, long and hearty laugh at the idea of her 'biomass' being added to, well, ANYTHING. "You, want, my BIOMASS? Buwahahahaa! You realize my genetics are a flipping mess and I'm carrying enough retroviruses that if you added to any collective biomass you'd have to dump the whole mess or never have a 'proper Joro' produced from it ever again, right? I've also been working on an anti-swarm biomass converter genetic 'kill switch.' It'd be awesome to see if it works on yours!"
Still chuckling at the idiocracy of the idea, Seggas moves forward some and tries to take a shot at the camera in the hallway that Tariana hasn't shot yet.
