Chorizal is no more pleased about retreating than Rastar. Of all the places where there may be enemies, their ship is one of the least likely.

He stands taller at J'Shun's words, scowling as the man points out his moment of doubt.

"Maybe you're only worth ten of them," he grumbles.

He foregoes even the pretense and doesn't bother with his laser, pulling out his dragon glaive, instead. He ranges next to Rastar, keeping out of the line of fire but ready to charge ahead at the first sign of an enemy.

This room is foul with the stench of excrement. Hidden among the smashed crates littering the floor are the cracked-open, chitinous exoskeletons of multiple human-sized creatures. A hulking, spined mammal rises from the floor to menace intruders with a rumbling growl.

Might want to move tokens on the map. Rastar is way back in the hallways and Bodo isn't too far away, but Chorizal seems to have not left the ship yet.

Vyviane gives a small glance around the corner and double checks that the thing is not a jinsul before pausing. "Certainly isn't a jinsul. Seems almost mammalian... Any idea what it might be Mahpu?" She takes a picture and sends it to Kelvad back on the ship curious what he thinks of it.

The large creature seems like it has violent intentions, however J'Shun can tell by the demeanor and protruding ribs that the creature is actually starving and hungry rather than hostile.

You will need to act fast though, as you rather resemble food.

"Quick! Did anyone grab any more of those fruits?"

Rastar holstered one of his pistols and pulled the scythefruit he had picked up out of a pouch. He tossed it on the floor in front of the beast, hoping it would take the hint. He then pulled out his pistol again, ready to fight if it became aggressive. With a moment's reflection, he also hit the controls to close the environmental seals on his suit, hoping to clear the foul odor from his nostrils.

Chorizal is ready to assault the mammal when it is pointed out that the creature is more hungry than angry...or more hangry than anything else.

Though he's grumbling about it, he does his best to demonstrate that he and his squad are not food but that there is food available if the creature bypasses them.

J'Shun, ordered Bodo to bring some fruit with him earlier so I'm hoping Bodo did so.

"This creature is starving. We may be able to avoid conflict with it if we feed it. Corporal Mars, give the creature the fruits we picked up earlier."

J'Shun, is too distracted by the creature to hear Rastar whispering into his comm unit.

The fruit hits the floor, and the creature dives on the fruit like a possessed beast, buying you sufficient time to get more of the sicklefruit in front of the creature which seems far more interested in solving its hunger issue.

Looking around the room whilst the beast feasts, J'Shun finds several pieces of chitin (and chitinous limbs) a set of basic lashunta tempweave, two leg blades (that could function as hook swords) and a vector
graviton pistol. The remaining supply crates in the room contain 200 feet of titanium alloy cable line and two grapplers.

From what he can make of it, J'Shun determines that the Jinsuls probably fought the creature and managed to get it into this storeroom and lock it in, but two of them were killed in the process, and subsequently eaten by the creature as the only food source.

"There is no question now. The jinsuls are present. We will find them and eradicate them. Quickly now, it is possible they took the station's crew prisoner and we may still be able to save them."

Once they have cleared out the room, including Chorizal picking up and examining one of the claws and discarding it, he looks at the creature.

"Should we lock this thing up again, in case its dangerous or let it roam free? I wonder if it will just wander out of the base and off if we let it."

This hangar contains a dilapidated starship of a classic Pact Worlds model in the final stages of repair. While most of the area was cleared in preparation for the ship’s departure, a few supply crates occupy the edges of the space. The ceiling arcs into darkness above, and a massive, curved metal door stands shut on the far side of the hangar.

You see four Jinsuls laying in wait, prone on the wing.
The hangar ceiling rises to a height of 50 feet. Climbing the side of the starship requires a successful DC 20 Athletics check, and the starship’s wing is 20feet in the air.

Vyviane gladly picks up the gravity pistol, happy to see that she finally found a weapon on a mission that fits her hands and doesn't have too much of a kickback. "I'll hold onto this. Just give me a call whenever you want me to get some enemies bunched together!"

In the hanger she gives a small growl as she finds the loathsome jinsul hanging around on the wing of the ship. "Let's get this handled and handled quickly!"

She pulls out her small pistol sliding into place behind some crates for cover and waits for the enemy to come a bit closer to her.
Double move to get a bit closer and some cover.

"Of course..." Chorizal grumbles when he sees the position the enemy has taken. It doesn't take a genius to know that by the time he got to them with his dragon glaive they would have cut him down.

With a mournful sigh, he lets it clatter to his feet, marches forward while drawing his artillery laser and lets loose.

Waving his longsword at Rastar and Bodo he bellows, "Follow me Starfinders, ATTACK!"

He then follows Vyviane and Chorizal into the fray.

J'Shun, sprints to the starship while stowing his taclash back on his utility belt. He then leaps and grabs hold of a protrusion on the ship's side and begins climbing.

"Rally Starfinders, take the attack to the jinsuls!" J'Shun uses his Regroup skill. He restores the 3 stamina points Chorizal just lost back to him.

However, he can't quite get good enough grip and can't make his way to the top of the starship.

Spent 1 entropy point to boost J'Shun's movement by 10' again. Entropy points +0, EAC 14, KAC 16 this round. Is it a standard action or move action to try to climb the side of the starship?

Okay, I misread the automatic rules. Fusillade sucks for my character. Looks like I'm going to have to buy a mnemonic editor

Rastar opened up with his pistols, sending a fusillade of shots at the remaining jinsuls. He watched with dismay as 36 bullets managed to completely miss the two closes targets. "FRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Vyviane slides in a bit closer and points out something on the body of the plane, away from her. "I swear it's that mammal thing from upstairs! On no! It looks hungry!"

Hoping she distracted the other Jinsul in black enough, Vyviane takes a shot at him.

Vyviane dashes her full 40 feet and then after a second to catch her breath does so again, ending up near the back of the wing and in a good position to shoot from after her breathing regulates itself.

I forget as a 3rd level operative her speed should be higher.

Cursing, Rastar dropped his pistols to the ground, then grabbed his assault hammer. "Fine, if that's the way you want to play it, it's clobbering time!" And he rushed forwards.

How hugh up is the wing they are on? Can it be climbed on? Jump up? Jetpacks? Will finish move after I hear back.

Chorizal got very close to the top of the wing with his first attempt to climb up. He goes for the gold now.

To do that I'd have to use actions to attach one to my rope and that would be after at least two move actions to get the equipment out. Then again I might have to do it if J'Shun can't climb the side of the starship again.
