Just unlucky, really. Or maybe she volunteers. :P
Kintargo GM
I'll bot Aisling and Raven later today, if they don't get actions in.
Kintargo GM
Post'll be coming tonight or tomorrow. Sorry for the delay, folks.
Aisling Talbot
why does everything in kintargo always attack aisling
This is a good question :)
I've jsut realised that I never took a level 3 feat. I'm going to take weapon focus (longsword) as an extra +1 to hit won't hurt!
EDIT: it doesn't seem to help either :(
Kintargo GM
Sadness. And yeah, they're small and skittery little buggers.
Kintargo GM
Oops, I'll get a post up shortly, since it's been a couple days.
Kintargo GM
I forgot that the inflict spells are on the witch spell list. That's actually not a bad one... though it's probably a bit tougher for Vantine to get into melee.
Vantine Roubanis
That's true, I doubt Vantine would ever go on the offense with it. But if she found herself hemmed in or otherwise unable to keep a healthy distance from the fight it could come in handy.
Kintargo GM
My computer has been having some trouble today. I may not be able to get a post up until Sunday, but I'll try to get things up today if I can.
Kintargo GM
Are you gonna continue pushing into the Fantasmagorium? Any Asmodeans who come in will probably notice that you've been by, what with the destroyed skunk ape skeletons.
Kintargo GM
I'll give Nyxra and/or Aisling another few hours to respond yea/nay on making a quick retreat before I assume it's a "nay" and move you towards the next room.
Kintargo GM
I'm giving folks a chance to post before combat starts, because Magpie's found some foes for everyone!
Kintargo GM
No worries. I expect us to slow down pretty significantly towards Christmas.
... Much like the ningyo, who have a measly speed of 10 ft.

Aisling mentioned potions of lesser restoration. According to THIS POST, everyone except Aisling got one from that treasure distribution. A quick use of the Search function indicates that Aisling already had one, and the Raven and Vantine took potions of lesser restoration for their freebie/gift boon from the Rebellion System.
Kintargo GM
Huh. I wish I could keep better track of that sort of thing, but I'm apparently too distracted to do so.
Kintargo GM
Indeed. Also, we're two weeks from our first anniversary of the game. It's been a good run so far, and I hope everyone is still having fun!

I'm still enjoying the game. I think Jessi's showing some signs of growth from the child of privilege she started the game as.
Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it!
(Looks like I got my present a bit early with Jessibel seemingly confirming a crit!)
Kintargo GM
Indeed! I'm going to let Aisling take her time, because, uh, holidays. So there may not be a post from me today.
Kintargo GM
My posts will resume come tomorrow.
Kintargo GM
I'll have you guys open the door in a couple hours.
EDIT: Assuming no one has another plan.

Jessi can sheathe her rapier and use a pair of move actions to open both doors, then taking a step back for safety (if necessary). This would allow the heavy hitters (Aisling, Nyxra, and the Raven) to swarm through.
Kintargo GM
I'll give it another couple hours before I bot Aisling, but since it's New Year's, I'm inclined to give more time.
Kintargo GM
Indeed! I'm going to have to post tomorrow morning, 'cause I feel rather gross this evening. Nothing serious, just a little nausea.
Kintargo GM
I'll give Aisling until later today to post. I imagine she's been caught up in New Year's stuff.

Brief advertisement: One of my players has, alas, dropped out of another game. If you want to join my Wrath of the Righteous game, rerecruitment is open.

I'm tempted. The WotR game I'm playing in has stalled out, which might just be the holiday season. It's been a long time since any word from the GM though and I'm starting to worry.
I wish I could port my character from it directly over, I've never played such an insanely OP character before. We rolled ability scores on very favorable terms and got some bonus goodies as well. Just crazy.
I'll see if I can find the time in the next couple of days to trim her down to a reasonable size as a submission. I'll keep the background and so forth and change deities to Iomedae, she was going to drift into her camp in the other game anyway.
I might switch to paladin since I've never played one before, but I also still like the fighter to Heritor Knight path I had planned.

What a shaaaaame. Str TWF fighter would be insaaaaaaane.

@Sensen: After sleeping on it I've decided to do the sensible, responsible thing and not submit a character for WotR. I have enough games to keep me busy right now, no need to be selfish trying to get in even more.
Besides, I saw Giant Halfling is going to apply. He's a GM of mine in another game and he's cool. I don't want to compete with him since he seems pretty excited about it.
Kintargo GM
Sorry to hear, Aisling. Hope it passes soon.
EDIT: I'll give everyone a chance to post, but there will be combat (again) within the next post. Dungeons, man.

Would you believe it? Tomorrow's our first year anniversary for the game, and we've not lost a single player to attrition. I'm pleased, and I'm having a lot of fun. Hopefully you all are as well.

Happy Anniversary Everyone!
Not losing any players in the first year is no mean feat. You deserve kudos GM (most of them) along with the rest of you for hanging in there. I'm still loving this campaign. Here's to another year!
Kintargo GM
Indeed! I'll bot Raven if he doesn't get a post in the next few hours.

That is amzing! A whole year. Thanks for letting me stay, I know Iv'e posted less regularly than I wanted to. This year I will try not to get hit by any cars

Heh, I've been lazy and just marking a lot of comments as favorites.
This topic deserves a few words though. It's been a pleasure to game with you all. Extra shout out to our dedicated GM!

This had been a great game =) Love everyone's characters and our lovely DM is amazing. This is the second game I've seen reach the one year mark without losing a player.
Average of 10.2 posts a day between gameplay and discussion in our first year.
