Yeah, I don't care much for them either. Thus the mirror for Vantine. Plus a mirror works better for the character concept.
You should put Carlissa in touch with Vantine. She has a pretty face, but she needs to get that eyeliner and mascara under control! Vantine can teach her a lot!
Kintargo GM
Oh it's a great spell for Vantine! It has a petty, sneaky vibe to it that's perfect for some of her moods.
But it's a very bad spell for Narcelia to have.
Thus the reason for my initial ambivalence when you mentioned it.
With her archetype, she could have it at any time, potentially. xD Well, once she's able to cast 2nd level spells, anyways.

I'll get a reply up tomorrow, and try to PM Aisling to see whether she's doing alright - hopefully she's not fallen ill again.
The Raven
If we gots the week off, I guess try and knock out some more rumors. We've gotten most of them so far. Can the Raven investigate the unfriendly tengu?
Kintargo GM
Sure. Knowledge (local) or Diplomacy will tell you about them, as you see fit.

Hi all, Im' sorry for lack of posting. I mentioned earlier about pain issues and it's been worse this last week which is a 'good sign' cos it means the nerves are all stil there and I *should" make a full recovery. Dowsnside is everthing hurts right now, sitting lying standing. They're not increasing my pain meds cos it's "jsut a phase" and it won't last which is the srot of thing you get to tell pepol when you went to med scholl apparently. (I have a phd and *years* in postdoc research in biomed but whatever)
Anyway please bear with me. I'm doing the best I can.
Kintargo GM
Oof. My sympathies, Aisling. I hope things do improve more for you soon, and take your time recovering - I'll try not to get too much progress on the main plot line without your involvement.
Kintargo GM
You folks will want to start considering the next week's rebellion options, most likely. It's not going to happen for a bit, but depending on how things go, it may sneak up on us.
Kintargo GM
A post will be forthcoming tomorrow morning.
Vantine Roubanis
I think this next time around we should lean into recruitment, earning gold, and upgrades for rebellion teams. Maybe recruit for street performers so we can start collecting information and spreading disinformation.
Kintargo GM
Sure thing. Do you guys want me to move you on to investigating the Thrashing Badger? I intend to do so by tomorrow, but I wanted to be sure you don't have much to say in the Wasp's Nest.
Kintargo GM
I'm planning to get your spoilers up tonight or tomorrow.
Jessibel L. Aulamaxa
Favorited the GM's post simply for using the term 'hellhound' (one word). Pathfinder officially uses the term 'hell hound,' but I think the old school mash-it-together version looks much better!
Kintargo GM
There was a reason I mentioned you being on a major street, after all.
Kintargo GM
Hm... well, maybe, depending on how you'd explain it. You could try a dirty trick maneuver - I'd give it to you a varying penalty, depending on what you choose to do. You might rush past him to break the hound's line of sight even more, cause a ruckus by claiming someone nearby has pickpocketed you, cause a ruckus by drawing a weapon... any of these things might cause some inconvenience for the hellhound, or at least distract it long enough to let the man get away. If you've got holy water, I'd say you could pour it in the street in front of it - that would get its attention. Alternately, hiding in the crowd and throwing a rock or something would draw less attention than drawing a full weapon.
Start a street brawl! Be creative. I reward creativity.
Alternatively, doing nothing is an option. Not necessarily the most moral option, but an option nonetheless.
Kintargo GM
I will be needing to figure out how much Notoriety this thing's going to net the rebellion. Which is to say 1d6 ⇒ 4, with more if you kill it. Probably not much more, because it is, after all, a beast, but still.

A post for the spoilers and the next round will be coming later today, I hope. I might forget, but there you go.
Kintargo GM
I'll rule that your Bluff check was an attempt at "Inconspicuous Action," Vantine, but with a not-insignificant penalty, because casting a spell in the street is considered a bit more than "frowned upon," but it's still permitted in deescalation of violence. Mind you, that doesn't mean you won't be noticed, just that they'll think you're trying to help... someone.
Vantine Roubanis
That's fine. I know there are specific skill check penalties and feats dedicated to concealed casting. But it's early, I'm still on my first cup of coffee, so I didn't look anything up.
I figured I'd throw on a bluff role in case it could be used.
Kintargo GM
Yeah, that's fine, as I can't actually find them myself.
Kintargo GM
Welcome back, Aisling! Glad you're feeling better.
You can jump in as you like, in terms of initiative - just roll it on your first post, and I'll integrate you into the combat.
Kintargo GM
Okay, I'll try to get a post up tonight, but I may have to wait until tomorrow.
Kintargo GM
I will say this - the fleeing man was, in fact, a pickpocket who the hellhound had caught out. Well, I'm sure him getting away will be fine... right?
Kintargo GM
I'll get everyone together tomorrow morning - probably you guys told Aisling where you were investigating, and she's waiting there for you.
Kintargo GM
Posts will be coming later today. Just... need some time.

Kintargo GM
Everyone doing alright? I know things've been a bit slow recently, but I do have a plan for you guys once the little thing with Clenchjaw's is over.
Jessibel L. Aulamaxa
Everyone doing alright?
Fast-forward to the 1:55 mark of THIS VIDEO. I'm the buzzard; what Bugs does is how the world is currently treating me.
Other than that, I'm here and ready to roll.
Kintargo GM
Oh, shoot, I forgot that you'd had a list of things for Jessi to do. I'll get on that later today.
Also, my sympathies. Hope the world'll start treating you a bit better.
Jessibel L. Aulamaxa
Just wanted to say a quick "Thank You!" for the well-wishes. Today's been good (so far), making it four-out-of-five decent days over the latest stretch. I'm working toward making a few lifestyle changes that will hopefully set myself up for a better situation going forward.
Best wishes to the Raven as well. Hope things turn around for you soon.
Vantine Roubanis
Sorry! I had some very busy days in a row. Back to posting now!
I'm glad to hear things are improving Jessi!
Kintargo GM
You may want to start thinking about what Rebellion actions you want to take - at least, those of you who are interested in the system.
Vantine Roubanis
Ugh, I had intended to post and have Vantine go to the show actually. But I'd checked the newest posts on my phone while I was out. By the time I was at my computer I'd forgotten. Sorry to leave you hanging Jessi!
I suggest the next rebellion action be Spread Disinformation to bring our notoriety down. I don't know that it's dangerously high, but I'd rather not find out. It's our most powerful option now that we have Vendelfek.
Jessibel L. Aulamaxa
Sorry to leave you hanging Jessi!
No biggie--I pretty much did the same thing. I was going to post yesterday, and then football happened...for the rest of the day.
Kintargo GM
It does go up to 100, to be fair. If the government's aware of you, it's in a general "man, there're a lot of criminals about nowadays." Plus, Rexus will subtract one each upkeep phase, as well.
But that said, if you want to fly really dark, it won't hurt.
