Horizon Hunters

HP 38 (-0) | TN Male Gnome (Herbalist) Cleric 3| AC 15 | F/R/W +9/+5/+11 | Perc +9 (low-light) | Hero Points 2/3 | Speed 25 | Focus Spell 1/1 | Divine Font: 2/4, School Scroll 1/1 | Active Conditions: Wayfinder vs. Clumsy, Enfeebled or Sickened

Thanks for the scenario! I liked that one.

Should we consider getting a fourth PC?

Horizon Hunters

Male Tengu Rogue (Eldritch trickster) 6 / HP 72/72, Perc +12, AC 24(26), Fort +10 Ref +14 Will +12 / Active conditions: Low-light vision, Nimble dodge, resist negative damage 1, +1 HP/min

It would be the best. A pregen is by default.

I have recruited a 4th. He's the GM for my other PbP, so I'm super happy to pay him back for his time.

He'll be playing a social Champion, which I think works perfectly if you guys are going with Rogue, Druid, Cleric, especially if Chupko will be able to take over the Int-based skill checks.

For Bounty #12 I'll run Pregen Quinn to cover for Mutaq's skillset and then I'll probably make a new thread to kick off the Scenarios.

Awesome!!!

Interesting read:

Adventure Mode in PFS Guide 3.0 - What does it mean and how does it interact with Bounties?

Do we go B-C-D-F-E? Or E-F-D-C-B?

Computer still in pieces due to work being crazy busy. But tomorrow morning I should finally have a breather.

Thanks for your patience ^_^

No problem. Thank you for the explanation.

I'm cruising through the guide to see if there are any changes I haven't accounted for.

Apparently all pathfinder agents get a free wayfinder after two missions. Do bounties count or do we need to run two more before we get ours? Not a huge deal, but preparing a cantrip other than light could be worth it if we all have wayfinders.

Trig is planning to hire Unzgrin to travel along with the group. I'm guessing Lore: Dwarf would fit for her or is she more of a general historian or should I do Lore: Fungi or something?

I'm also finding quite a few things wrong with my PC, as in things I forgot to calculate properly or even put on my sheet. He has a nice destruction focus spell now and his info will be a bit more organized. I don't think anything was 'wrong' though, so just the normal leveling up changes.

Since I've applied all of these Bounties to the same PC myself, I just checked, and I was able to download the Wayfinder Boon from my Boons page just fine ^_^

She is described in the adventure as "a librarian and historian" who "has made it her life’s work to scour the foothills around Urgir for other ruins." So Society would definitely be a winner for her main Hireling skill. But she only discovered evidence of dwarves "a few weeks ago", so maybe more Library Lore than Dwarven Lore. Or Orc Lore, Urgir Lore or even Underground Lore.

No worries. If something is obviously off in a post I'll point it out, but I won't be an audit stickler.

All of these Chronicles will likely be available for eternity, so if you need to replace an edited Chronicle with a fresh sheet, feel free to redownload it.

What a meaty Bounty to wrap up your first level. Social interaction, exploration, combat, and 5 hazards (4 mushrooms + 1 haunt).

I have to imagine it was written this way on purpose.

Yes, Trig, with Nethys you can choose Magic missiles as 1st lvl spell and get Cry of Destruction as focus spell if you chose this Domain. I simply thought you didn't want to use them.

I've played a warpriest of Nethys during the Fall of Plaguestone. That's why I know.

Horizon Hunters

Yeah, I specifically chose to not prepare magic missiles. I like buffing my allies more. I completely forgot about the focus spell though.

That said, I think my magic weapon weapon buff will be good for only a short bit more and sorta depend on who we add as a fourth and what they use. Once everyone gets +1 weapons the value of only doubling the damage die is reduced. So I'll probably prepare it for a mission or two then find something else for that slot.

Your 4th player is beginning with 0xp (this will be their first foray into PFS2), and as such, they'll always be 12xp behind the three of you.

So magic weapon will probably get a lot of use ^_^
