Cheers erupt from the crew of nearby Harbor Guard vessels as Raynor jumps with perfect timing into the saddle of a giant sea turtle!

Meanwhile, below decks, Magt leads some of his allies in a desperate search through the tangled plantlife in the hold of the King Xeros. His search pays off in the discovery of a cache of xill treasures: gems and other exotic materials.

My posting will be a bit sparse over the next two days due to work functions, but then we'll finish up strong by week's end.

Magt grabs the Xill treasures and head towards the upper deck. On his way out, Magt continues to look for anything he can bring back to the venture captain.

If I even see anything with writing on it that is a part of something or might be a control surface, Magt will give a quick try at just ripping it off the wall, pedestal, or whatever. I am assuming the original control crystal we messed with is too large. If not he would gladly try to retrieve that.

He looks around for anything else to grab quickly while running to the upper deck. Then he leaps into the ocean with a huge splash and begins swimming away from the ship in case the field extends some distance from the ship.

I have to say, if this was a campaign, I would so totally stay on the ship just to see where it goes!


Magt leads the remaining Pathfinders in a race against time before the ship departs for worlds unknown! They make it safely aboard other ships in the harbor just seconds before the King Xeros shimmers one last time and then disappears entirely.

Once everyone is back on dry land, Venture-Captain Hestram listens to your tale with interest. He gives you each a hearty handshake. "Ah, the life of a Pathfinder! To witness one of the wonders of a lost age, something few will ever see no matter how many centuries they live. And you all came back in one piece with the tale to tell. You've explored, cooperated, and reported--congratulations on a mission done the right way!"

It was an experience to be sure...now that we have some time, Magt...I'd like to look at that wound.is it something that has to be resolved before the end?

Ah yes, the cursed wound! Magical healing works with a DC 26 caster level check, and since there's a level 7 PC cleric in the party, I think it's reasonable to assume that with enough attempts, it's a successfully cleared condition.
