This scenario is really much more complicated than initially thought! So do we have to go to the general if it really is true that the captain is trying to throw us out of the ungrounded?

Do you think the general would even listen to you? If the opportunity to speak with her ever arises, you'd best have lots of evidence of wrongdoing at hand because otherwise it's your word against the captain's and only one of those two parties has a prior working relationship with the general.
Also, the GameDay IX convention is coming to a close. We don't have to rush this table to finish by next week, but we do need to report it (and then make any needed changes when we actually finish it). To that end, it's time to roll for BOOOOOOOOONS!
In this thread, roll a d20. If the result is 19 or 20, do the following:
- Celebrate - you just won a boon!
- Roll a d3 to determine which boon you won!
- Send me your email address via PM so the convention team can get your boon to you!
Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 6 (For example purposes, let's pretend that's a 19 on the die)
Which Boon?: 1d3 ⇒ 2Yahoo! I'll send my email to you in a PM as soon as I finish typing this post, GM!
If you haven't rolled for your boon by Friday, I'll roll it for you to make sure we get the game reported in time.

boon : 1d20 ⇒ 14

Rolling for Alrick, Ebonfeather, and myself.
Alrick: 1d20 ⇒ 4
Ebonfeather: 1d20 ⇒ 13
Hawthwile: 1d20 ⇒ 19 (Oh for crying out loud.)
Which Boon?: 1d3 ⇒ 2
I would swear these dice are rigged sometimes. Reporting this game now so the conventions staff can wrap things up, but we'll continue playing until we reach the end of the scenario.
Speaking of which, do we need to slow down the pace or push things along? I know things are crazy right now IRL, and we don't need to add any additional stress to anyone's plate.

Aside from politics stress, my wife and I just spent the past week moving so I’ve been extra busy and drained. The worst part is over thank goodness but I havent even gotten my computer set up again yet.

I will get her post up tomorrow. I just started a new position and I’m getting my bearings, so my apologies for the delay.

So, it's a little bit dumb, but if you don't want to fight Inysha you'll have to peacefully convince her to leave and never come back - which means Diplomacy is the only option. Unfortunately, my hands are a bit tied on this one. Thankfully, this party is not without its smooth talkers.

In terms of evidence, we have all the things we found the captains office (3?), the rock from the elemental, the picture we were given showing the wrong “thief” and a testimony from the guy admitted to using poison during the practice bout.
Alrik probably best to go last. His diplomacy rolls are at -3....

We made it! It's a Christmas Miracle™! I'll try to have Chronicle sheets out later today, but please double-check that your reporting information is correct and let me know if you want to use a reroll on a day job check.
Also, my sincere apologies for letting this scenario drag out like this. I imagine it was not as much fun for anyone else either, and if we end up playing together again I hope to not give you a more enjoyable experience.

This was a great scenario and I actually enjoyed it being longer. :-)
Thanks for everything.

And done! Please find your Chronicle sheets here. I'll keep this campaign active for a week or so, but please let me know when you've had a chance to download your Chronicle sheet and if any changes need to be made to it.

Thank you very much again for running! That was a great scenario and I think your GMing style worked perfectly for it. My chronicle also looks good.
