This is the character that I've been trying to get into a Jade Regent AP for several attempts now. I briefly played in one that was midway through when I was recruited to cover lost players, and it almost immediately collapsed.
I'm a forum regular and I check in every day or every other day. I'm OK with a casually-paced group though, if that's what people want or what the GM can commit to.
I want to try to play through the AP from start to finish, traveling across Golarion and experiencing the various puzzles, problems, and NPC story developments along the way.
The caravan subsystem is terrible but I can work with it if the group wants to use it for the overland travel sections.
Mechanically, I like using 20-point buy with Background skills, as this gives room for characters to have a little "wiggle" in their development instead of having to be laser-focused. RP-wise, I like strong character connections, good party dynamics, even rivalries if both players approve. I dislike bullies and hyper-optimization that excludes other players from participation.

When I started the thread, I was thinking of my cleric, Posh's Cavalier, and 3-4 others. Hattori's Ninja seems perfect and I liked Filona for the romantic angle of the two gnomes. (Or maybe they will argue all the time. Either way is good.) Caladorn is good too. I have not read everyone's character who posted renewed/continued interest. I was starting to do that when you so providencially replied.
I would like daily posting, unless there's literally nothing to say. Tell us the story and we will react entertainingly. I am committed to the entire AP. I want teammates who are dedicated to the same. I don't know about the caravans, but I'm happy to try.

This is the character I made for the AP. He's a generalist oracle who dabbles in melee and could fit into any party, I think.
I post daily and would like to complete the AP. What I expect as a player is only that the same dedication to completing a path from the other players and the GM (preferably also one post per day in the non-weekends) to keep it alive. Other than that, I'll try my best to do the storytelling as well as I can and to interact with the NPC's and other players to the best of my ability.
I’ve Applied to a number of jade regent recruitments as most here have, I’ve got a variety of characters made up specifically for it, particularly an Oracle, a bard, a Druid and this kitsune rogue focused around magical tail.
I should be checking the forum every day, and have been fairly consistent in that for a while, though I don’t have nearly the backlog of posts that some do.
I am intrested in going for completion of the AP. I like an emphasis on character development and intraparty relations. I’ve played in games that are hyper optimized and games that are primarily designed for completely novice players and think I can fit into most, though I generally prefer less optimization.
IRL I’ve been playing for 12 years or so and GMing for 8 of them. I’ve got experience in dnd1-5e, pathfinder 1 and 2, mutants and masterminds, savage worlds, starfinder, GERPs and a few others.
I originally made this character for a Rise of the Runelords that didn't even make it to the first combat and have since adjusted him for Jade Regent. He's a witch and I'm thinking he will be more of a support type than damage.
Personally I check the boards at least once a day during the week and try to check at least once on the weekends. I would like a group that works well together and regularly keep the story moving.

Ok, so I'm 100% down with playing this. It sounds like one where a mounted little guy like Posh can shine. I don't know much at all about this AP, except it's a long trek to the East, using a caravan mechanic people seem to hate, much like the cargo mechanic of Shackles, and the Underground Rebel org of Hell's Rebels.
I've wanted to play it for a while, but I won't be offended if the GM wants a different set of PCs.
With that said, I've never dropped out of an AP that didn't stall, and I'm dedicated to the long haul on this.

I have been playing games for over 10 years and have been on and off on PbP for the last six or so years. I check the board regularly everyday and post as much as my life allows me. I always do at least one post a day and do my best to make everyone aware if I'm not able to.
Baradim is a wanderer and a devotee of Sarenrae, charged with spreading the Dawnflower's light. As an Inquisitor, he'll specialize at demoralizing the enemy and taking captives when he can, thanks to his Redemption inquisition. When he can, he'll offer redemption to those that can and fiery wrath to those who are too far gone. He's entranced by Shelelu's kindness and beauty and is wishing to follow her wherever she goes.

Well...I....mmm....I am actually starting my initial DMing foray on these boards myself. I will be starting an Agents of Edgewatch game; which I invited my current DMs too (here on the boards and IRL).
I have been gaming since age 9 (various systems but mostly DnD/PF); and I have great interest in this AP. I just adore the themes, motifs, scenery! It is a classic journey-style AP that I would love to see to the end. I am quite active on these boards. I check in almost hourly actually (some may consider this a sickness...lol).

Sure, You can change out your character submission. Recruitment is open until Saturday evening CDT. The same holds true for anyone else who wishes to submit an alternate character.
I may switch out Baradim, not sure yet. I do have a question though GM_Corwyn. Have you looked at the Elephant In The Room Feat Taxes? I know it is some houseruling stuff but, as a lover of my martial classes, I think it is great. If not, no worries <3

I despise the so-called "feat taxes" rules. They use deliberately loaded language ("nobody likes taxes! let's say that you're being taxed!") to try to push bad design. If you want your character to do extraordinary things, take the feats for them. That's why they exist. This is just power creep to give things away for free because people are mad about having to actually make choices in their character design.
I am of the same opinion to be honest. The designers did design the game with at least a semblance of balancing; although, admittedly, things do tend to come out of balance at the higher levels. I believe those particular rules only exacerbate the problem.
That being said; it would be entirely your call; and I would--if recruited--would abide by your decisions.
Fun is the goal.
Someone did point out in a different thread that there lies the potential for a lot of rewriting on the GM's part, and that may especially be the case here, where a large focus of the AP is on some NPC's that may be using feats that would be adjusted by the Elephant in the room rules.

Good point. I think we will skip the feat tax house rules and play the AP as designed.
I (Joker27) am going to tentatively submit Temur for this as I think he is the most interesting of the characters I've made for Jade Regent, he was for a recruitment that specified they wanted romance so he is angling to hopefully have a romance with Shalelu though that can be rewritten as a friendship if you don't want romance.
I do have an idea for a different character but it may well not come together either well enough or in time so I figured I'd put my best foot forward!
