I would like to begin by apologizing to the GM. I have the That's Odd feat. Feel free to tell me as much or little as you like.
Also, I am going to establish a "Pursue a Lead" on one of the missing pathfinder agents, unless you'll allow the pursuing of the missing shipment.
Pursue a Lead:
You spend 1 minute examining the details of one potential clue, designating the subject related to that clue as the target of your active investigation. This subject is typically a single creature, item, or small location (such as a room or corridor), but the GM might allow a different scope for your investigation. You don't need to know the identity, purpose, or nature of the subject, but you do need to be aware of its existence. For instance, finding a footprint is enough to investigate the creature that left it, and seeing a hasty sketch of an item or location can be enough to start your investigation of that subject.
Whenever you attempt a Perception or skill check to investigate a designated subject, you gain a +1 circumstance bonus to the check. The exact checks this applies to depend on the actions you use to investigate and are determined by the GM, but checks to investigate are typically Perception checks or skill checks that use Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma.

EDIT: lolz...well...just read the trigger on the potency crystal...so...how does that work with devise stratagem? (the declaring attack but before rolling)

Unfortunately the way they are worded, I'd say they don't work together. You can't use the crystal until you actually make an attack, but you also can't use it after you've rolled the d20.
Hopefully there will be clarification in the future.

Just to be clear I dont know 2E half as well as I would like to and this is an opportunity for me to learn the system better. As is my usual practice I play the barbarian (or goblin) who doesnt know the rules so I can learn what the rules are with some justification for not playing by the rules. But please let me know any quirks or tips that would help my understanding(although preferably not in the game thread I prefer to keep that for the game rather than rules discussions)

My apologies. I lost track of where I was on the map, and am not, in fact, next to a bandit. Rather than try to retcon, I’ll keep the Perform and Interact, and go forward from there.
I also don't have survival, hence no roll. Also -1 Wisdom, so only would succeed an aid roll on a nat 20 (boosting my 19 by 1 degree of success), while crit failing on an 11 or less.
