I have a question about boon qualifications.
I have Regional Support Package 2017 Boon #3 which gives me "On-the-Job Training":
Despite spending 3 years in training, a Pathfinder learns many of her best tricks and skills from her companions while in the field. Choose one skill (Diplomacy). Once per scenario when you succeed at a skill check of DC 15 or higher with this skill while benefiting from the Aid Another action of an ally who has at least 1 rank in the skill, you may check one of the boxes below. Once you have checked all 10 boxes, you become specialized in that skill.
Does this check count? Magmara didn't specifically say "Aid Another" (2 posts below) but she & Soleil did say they were involved with me and my check?

Althea has already signed up for another adventure, but I'm sure one of my other toons would be interested. :)

Yeah, I would say that counts.

Thank you again.
If anyone has any requests for other scenarios they want to play, let me know.
Here are some potential scenarios:
-Tide of Twilight - a scenario where you meet Falbin and investigate the druids he had mentioned
-Murder on the Silken Caravan - a scenario where you meet Jamila. It's a season 0 scenario so may by a bit unbalanced
-The Sandstorm Prophecy - the start of the "Tyranny of Winds" trilogy with Jamila. Only thing is the first two parts are level 1-5 and third part is level 3-7.

![]() |

I would play Tide of Twilight. Is it a sequel to Tide of Morning?
I would love to do the Tyranny of Wind saga. Grax and Javon have played Sandstorm Prophecy, but it would be awesome to do the other two. I could either play for no credit, play another character as a replay, or sit the first one out.

![]() |

Would love to do the Tyranny of the Winds trilogy, though this chronicle was only Soleil's second, so she wouldn't be in tier for the third part unless there were several adventures in between.

![]() |

hmm Tyranny of Winds does sound cool, but doesn't really fit with any of my current character archetypes - I would totally make a new character for it, but then would be in the same situation as Soleil? I'd be bummed out if the whole group continued without me though. :(

Weird idea, but would we all want to create new characters specifically to run through Tyranny of the Winds (and whatever else to get us up to level for part three) as a consistent party, and more specifically, would you want to commit to that as well, GM Mauve? Maybe chat as a group to make sure we have something resembling a balanced party and such? I mean, giving us time to create this new party would also give Mauve the rest time they mentioned taking after this adventure too.
Thoughts?
![]() |

If everyone wants to do a "from the ground up" party (with maybe an exception or two), we could do some evergreens to get everyone up to 2nd level, then do Murder on the Silken Caravan as our first adventure at 2nd level and then do the three Tyranny of the Winds ones as we'd hit 3rd right before the last adventure. That would be a commitment of 7 straight adventures if we want to do that, which I for one would totally be down for :=)

![]() |

I'd be interested if enough people are. I've got two characters who are likely about to finish their adventures, and could certainly group up with some folks for something interesting!

![]() |

We don't have to twist everything around just to play the Tyranny of the Winds for me. I was just expressing some desires.
I'd be happy to join you guys in any other game too. Grax is now level 4 though, but I could use someone else.

Anything else you want me to note on your Chronicle (purchases, training, etc): I would like to purchase an Information Brokerage Membership (6PP from Pathfinder Society Primer)
Quick question on chronicle sheets: Does my vanity purchase need to be listed... somewhere? Or can I just write it in under "prestige spent"?
7 scenarios would be quite a commitment for Society, that's true, but Tyranny of Winds sounds exciting so I'm up for it (especially with a new character). All my other long-term games are over or on hiatus. An idea that might shorten it a *bit* is playing an evergreen module at level 1 to quickly get to level 2, then following Soleil's suggestions? A level 2 or 3 character could get away with joining that system as they'd be level 5 by the 3rd part of Tyranny of Winds.
As far as new characters go, I've already been thinking of making an elemental race anyway (like undine or sylph), and I have a boon to make an Aasimar I've never used. No clue on classes so far.
Or we can just do the first 2 parts of Tyranny of Winds with characters as is (except Althea)?
Or if you guys and gals just want to do Tide of Twilight, maybe one of Althea's sisters can join you instead ;)
Level 1 Varisian Pilgrim Cleric (0xp)
Level 2 Varisian Bladed Kapenia Dancer Magus (4xp)
Other:
Level 1 Half-Orc Holy Tactician Paladin of Kurgess (going to level up into Skald as well) (1xp)
Level 2 Tian-Min Zen Archer Monk / Samurai Ronin (fluffed as a equestrian acrobat) (4xp)
Ideas for new level 1s:
Undine/Sylph -unknown class-
Aasimar -unknown class, maybe Life Cleric fluffed as midwife-

Oh yeah, a module would be brilliant! Crypt of the Everflame or...that one other one...that I can't think of the name of...but yeah, there are several and that gets us to 2 in a hurry :=)
I was also thinking I might use one of the boons I have sitting around. I have one for a skinwalker and toyed around last night with a shifter build that would give him (as a wereboar) 5 attacks per round (gore, 2 claws, 2 hooves). Granted, I might not actually use that, but it could be fun playing the stocky pig man :=) Of course, I also have that Grippli boon and little frog dudes are adorable!
Of course, given that Tyranny of the Winds is (I think) elementally themed, elemental races and builds with elemental focus could be a cool idea too.
And don't worry, Grax, I think we're all genuinely excited for Tyranny of the Winds, so you're not putting anyone out by suggesting it :=)

I could definitely run Crypt of the Everflame. I can set that up tonight if people are interested.
Oh my gosh that would be cool!
Hurry, everyone, go make characters/revise 1st level characters :=)That would be awesome, GM Mauve. You're kind of a rock start super hero. Not sure if you knew that, but yeah, that's kind of you :=)
Looks like everyone is in, so it would be a closed recruitment which means no sitting around and waiting for people to sign up!

![]() |

So we doing new characters? Hmmm
I am, but then again, I also love making new characters :=)

![]() |

If we start with any evergreen, then we must all use 1st level characters (but they don't have to be NEW). So Soleil, Willard & Andros could continue on if they want. (Assuming this adventure didn't put you over into level 2 that is.)
If everyone is cool with that, then this is the plan:
Level 1 - Crypt of the Everflame (level 1 only; 3xp)
Level 2 - Murder of the Silken Caravan (levels 1-5; 1xp)
Levels 2/3 - The Sandstorm Prophecy (levels 1-5; 1xp)
Levels 2/3 - Secrets of the Endless Sky (levels 1-5; 1xp)
Level 3 - Caught in the Eclipse (levels 3-7; 1xp)
But if anyone wants to keep their current (higher level) character for the series I'm also okay just jumping straight into Sandstorm Prophecy and skipping Caught in the Eclipse for now. Up to y'alls.

Ooh, also: GM Mauve were you planning to report this session through the website? Because it isn't showing on my list yet. No rush! Just checking. I know not everyone does.

Ah! I filled out the form this morning but I just realized I forgot to hit submit. The game is now officially reported. May take a bit to show up but let me know if it doesn't.

Ironically, Ecthelien has already played Crypt of the Everflame as his 1st mission. So I will sit that one out. Murder I have played with another PC.
So if you are ok with checking back with Ecthelien after those first two, I'd still be interested in the Sandstorm etc. But that may be 6 months from now. If you get a solid table of six fresh characters, then just keep going. :)

![]() |

Hmm we could play a different evergreen module, but Murder on the Silken Caravan is a bummer.
ALSO I found an issue with doing the evergreen & old season adventures - they are all set up for only FOUR players :( So it's probably a good thing Ecthelien wants to jump in later, another player might have to do that too (I'd be willing to if no one else is? But since I'm making a new character I need the level ups)
So to sum up:
Grax - too high a level, would have to use/make a level 1 (or join in later)
Soleil - making a new character cause she likes it
Althea - making a new character to suit the adventure theme
Willard - continuing with this character
Andros - continuing with this character? (I saw him apply to another game so I don't know if he still wants to do this or not)
Echthelien - possibly interested to jump in later with same character
Does that seem right to y'alls?
Or is this all too much of a headache and we should just look into Fabin's pesky druids?

![]() |

Summary looks on point to me, Althea.
I agree that the module and Murder could be done with a smaller group since they were made for 4, but I don't think having five is going to significantly throw that off.

![]() |

After more research, I think legally you can play them with up to 6 or 7 characters? So maybe it's not that big of an issue after all. :p
(Thinking about maybe an Undine Watersinger Bard... haven't checked legality on the concept yet, just spitballing)

![]() |

Might be mistaken, but I think I remember Willard having commented in some game we've played together that he doesn't have any characters of level 2 or higher, so we'll for sure need to do some leveling up for his sake if we're looking to do this as a full group. However, you are allowed to play any tier 1-2 evergreen once per player with a level 2 character, so we could still do Crypt of the Everflame with Grax and Andros' level 2 characters if they want to go that way.
Looking at our party, we've got a wizard, magus, sorcerer, arcanist (once Echthelien rejoins us), and whatever Althea and I make. Therefore, I'm thinking I'll go for something frontline-oriented and maybe with some healing ability. We are super well set for arcane casting, though :=)

I could also roll a new character to get us more mass up front, maybe a paladin?
Totally your call. Arcane-heavy party has never been a massive issue in my experience. I was one of four arcane casters in a party before and we absolutely destroyed our foes.
I'm currently in the midst of working up a weirdly tanky cleric of Arshea. They'll be fun! And genderless as per their deity :=)

![]() |

yeah I'm kinda slow at making characters anyway but I'll do my best to be speedy! Soleil I'm thinking similarly to you, so let me know what class you decide

![]() |

@Althea-I have way too many ideas, realistically, but I'm probably going cleric with some frontline skills or maybe druid with a frontlining companion. Whatever you end up building, I'm certain we can make them work together well. If you want to collaborate more specifically to ensure they're complimentary pieces, feel free to shoot me a PM on it.
@Andros-replay as in replaying a scenario wouldn't matter with evergreens. You can play them with a level 1 character as many times as you like as long as that specific character has not already played the adventure. The only limit on evergreens is that you can only do the tier 1-2's one time per player (not per character) with a level 2.

Ok, I'm going to bring a Halfling hunter with an anklyosaurus animal companion. Tanky and the ability to throw out some heals (or use wands of cure light if people are bringing those as well). (I'm 99.9% sure on that, but there's always the off chance that I'll slightly alter that to maybe druid or a different animal, but still fitting that same role).
