The drunkard stands down in the face of being served a 'vesk sandwich' (Vesk sandwiches famously contain no lettuce). Hammer of Hylax is glad to have spent an evening at the Nebula's Core, but she seems somewhat shaken by the incident, and her cheerful (if somewhat disturbing) attitude has dimmed somewhat.
Perhaps the group will find better luck at the souvenir shop. I have heard the mall offers a good selection most delightful gifts. Do you have any suggestions?
Please make your suggestions, and roll a perception check while doing so

"I am personal partial to collecting antique medical tools. A fine trepan, perhaps? Or any number of devices used as counter-irritants?" suggests Dr. Everbrite.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Excited by the prospective of, perhaps, making a few acquisitions of his own, the doctor only pays cursory attention to his surroundings.

Yes. One of those devices that opens skulls, very nice! Hammer of Hylax says, as she clicks her mandibles again, salivating slightly.

"A device that opens skulls? You mean, like this?" Kruvenosh points the greataxe suspended on his back before remembering the Ambassador's disgust of violence. He clear his throat awkwardly. "I mean, yes, if this is what you want, Ambassador, we will find one. Perhaps Dr. Everbrite is acquainted with places where we might find such tools?"
Tried 'Luck' Gludrapluck
Tried pulls out a map of the mall. "We should also get you some supplies for that squonk! He'll need food and a toilet and probably some toys at a minimum. Now did this mall have a pet supply store?"
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
"Hrmm this place looks promising."

"Hmm, with your shown fondness for Music, might I suggest we try shopping for some of the Pact World's finest? I have heard of a store that recently released the physical Star Sugar Heartlove and it should have similar items to peruse." Z'tel indicates as they wander Absalom Station's Shopping district, as usual sticking close to the Ambassador and keeping their eyes peeled.
DM Kludde
Yes... Hammer of Hylax says, toys for my delicious creature. We find it a toilet and a miniature trepan!
I have the album, but a poster would be great!
Z'tel keeps his eyes peeled, and Kruvenosh seems to notice every single movement of every single person. It is him that spots the miniature trepan, while the other items are a bit easier to find. The storemaster at Skyview mall are excellent packers, and soon the starfinder find themselves carrying five rather luxurious-looking (and bulky!) packages.
Please distribute packages among yourselves - each is one bulk and requires one hand to carry. Hammer of Hylax carries one package herself.
Kruvenosh notices a trio of ysoki setting up an ambush: one of them clambers on the roofs, while two more try to approach the group stealthily. Unsuccessfully.

Assuming the vesk better serves as a "pack animal" than his delicate hands, Dr. Everbrite grudgingly carries one package nonetheless.
When the sharp-eyed vesk points out a trio of ysoki, the doctor moves forwar and releases a nanocite cloud that envelopes an ysoki on the ground and rises ten feet up to (hopefully) envelope the other that had climbed up.
Move action; Move to form cloud and a nanite surge for malignant mist.
Malignant Mist (Ex): When he forms a cloud array or sheath array, Dr. Everbrite can use a nanite surge to damage anyone who contacts those nanites. His cloud array deals 1d6 piercing damage (Fortitude negates) to each creature that starts its turn in or enters the cloud’s area. His sheath array deals 1d8 piercing damage (Fortitude negates) to any creature that hits him with a melee natural weapon, melee weapon without the reach special property, or unarmed strike. After a creature attempts a saving throw against either effect, it is immune to damage from this ability for 1 minute. Dr. Everbrite is immune to the effects of his malignant mist. As a reaction, he can grant one creature he can see within 30 feet immunity to his malignant mist until the beginning of his next turn.
Damage (P), Fort (DC 15) negates): 1d6 ⇒ 1

Z'tel takes one of the packages under the crook of one of their arms and keeps up with the Ambassador. As Kruvenosh indicates the foe's attempted ambush, the Shirren bursts into motion, moving round the corner to keep their imminent violence away from the Hammer's gaze.
As before Nanites form a blade a slash at the Ysoki with Blue Laces.

Everbrite's cloud of nanites is sufficient to draw blood from the ysoki on the ground, and rises up enough to reach the rooftop rat. Z'tel's strike badly hurts Jazz, who is shaken enough by the injuries to tail it.
The sniper takes aim at Everbrite, and lands a small dart in his neck.

Fortitude: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Reflex: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Reeling from the grenade, Dr. Everbrite increases the density of his nanocite cloud making it more difficult to see through.
Dr. Everbrite can uses a nanite surge to increase the cloud’s density. This causes the array’s space to provide concealment, but it provides only a 15% miss chance. It doesn’t provide enough concealment to hide, and gus attacks ignore any miss chance provided by the cloud. This doesn’t stack with existing concealment.
Tried 'Luck' Gludrapluck
Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Tried doesn't quite feel lucky as the grenade goes off near him and he gets thrown off balance by the weapon blast. He sprays cloud of nanites out around himself and then spends a surge to cause it to go lightly opaque. "Stay behind the cloud, Ambassador. It will help to screen you!" He then stops to catch his breath.
Activating cloud array with a nanite surge make the spaces provide 15% miss chance. Tried's clouds are green.
DM Kludde
Both Everbrite and Tried create a haze of nanite smoke, almost completely blocking vision in the area.

As Kruvenosh spots the Ysoki, he takes his doshko and heads toward the Ysoki on the ground, leaving the sniper to his comrades. He passes the clouds of nanites and brings down the blade on the unsuspecting Ysoki as he comes out of the mist.

Combat over
Hammer of Hylax is content that her present were protected and mentions You have a most special set of clouds that you reproduce. Do all of your species produce such tasteful colors?
With the last activity finished, the group returns to the Lorespire complex, where an enthousiastic Hammer of Hylax strokes her new furry pet and mentions to Chiskisk I have been most pleased with my activities today, clicking her mandicles. I even have this treat for my way back, Hammer adds, again salivating.
The dignitary also sign a collaboration agreement, wasting no time in doing so. She bids farewell as she heads to her shuttle, squox in hand.
Mission SUCCESS! Nanocyte win. I will produce chronicles and report the game. Thank you all for playing!

Everything looks brill - Cheers everyone!
Returning to the Lorespire Complex, Z'tel relays their report to the Venture Captain in their usual buzzing tone. Turning to the Ambassador and their allies they bow at the waist. "It was an Honour and a privilege to serve alongside you all. I look forward to further duties in the future my friends.." They intone with a salute as they finish up and begin to leave.
