[PFS2] 1-18 Lodge of the Living God (GM Watery Soup) (Inactive)

In honor of the mask debate, I present open recruitment for #1-18 Lodge of the Living God.

An unexpected alliance begins! The masked priest Narsen invites the Pathfinders to the city of Xer in Razmiran, a closed nation dedicated to Razmir, the Living God. Normally insular and isolated, access to Razmiran represents a unique opportunity for the Pathfinder Society. Narsen has even sweetened the pot by offering to fund the repair of an old keep to serve as the Society's new lodge. As the first Pathfinders arrive to oversee repairs on the lodge-to-be, will this mark the historic first moment in an unlikely partnership, or will it trigger a disaster of unmitigated proporitions?

This scenario is longer than other scenarios. I estimate this run will take 8-12 weeks on PbP. As a result, I'm going to be pretty strict about people posting regularly - and up front about the possibility we do not finish before the fall PbP convention. (Gameday? I forget its name. Starts in August or September.) 1 post/weekday and 1 post/weekend are standard expectations.

I'd like to keep this solidly in one tier or another, but within those tiers, priority goes to characters that would actually be sent to found a new Lodge. I'm going to deliberately leave that vague to avoid being too narrow-minded, other than to point out this scenario is flagged Envoys' Alliance.

Motto: Strength in Community

Objectives: The Envoys’ Alliance is dedicated to recruiting new agents, rescuing Pathfinders in distress, and rebuilding the Society in a way that supports and values operatives’ lives and wellbeing—at least as much as one can in the adventuring world. Through collaboration, the Society can accomplish ever-greater feats—particularly with a powerful faction to advocate for the Pathfinders themselves when they’re tasked with the Grand Lodge’s latest projects.

This is not first come first serve recruitment. I'm going to leave this open until Monday, and then choose from all the applicants. I expect there will be several games recruiting next week, so keep that in mind when you apply.

If you'd like to apply, make sure your character profile is updated, and make an in-character post about their thoughts on the nation of Razmiran.

"Hmph. I can't say I trust Razmir or his priesthood, but establishing alliances between the Pathfinder Society and the people of the nations it travels to is important. Besides, someone needs to keep an eye out for trouble."

"I am more than willing to help establish a new lodge. I am a little surprised that they are opening for us however."

"Would love to get involved! Building and rebuilding is kind of my lane."

Hah! She scoffs. "Razmir. The living god". She says with a look of disgust.

Just another tyrant promising his subjects a life of wealth and decadence yet they slave away under him and his priests' harsh rule. Those good and hard working people trapped under his reign know he is a false god but any who oppose the beliefs are burned as heretics instead of swift execution as traitors. She bows her head in remorse.

Franzine then stands stoically.
It would be an honor to be part of a team to establish a Pathfinder lodge in Razmiran. Those people caught in Razmir's grasp deserve a better life and must be saved. And many of us may be able to do so with a lodge in Razmiran. If the priests and cultists who hide behind their masks -like the cowards they are- cannot be redeemed, maybe they'll think otherwise while our blades are pouring their blood.

Crunch removes their helmet and tucks it under one arm. Giving a big smile filled with sharp white teeth, the goblin explains, "I know something about fixing places up - how best to do the work. I would be happy to rebuild this keep."

"And Torag taught me how to be nice to people. How not to make them mad. So I not tell them what I really think of their 'Living God' and their hiding-away ways."

"Hookie am not knowing much about Razmiran, except they am wearing masks a lot there? Hookie am not for wearing masks unless Hookkie am horribly disfigured or running secret evil army of snake people. Then Hookie am wearing mask! But maybe they am needing Saranrae light there? Hookie am definitely happy to bring light there!"

Did i miss it? Please tell me i didn't miss it! i know i'm only starting out, but i would really absolutely love to help found a new lodge! Does that mean i could be come a Venture Captain? I'd really like to be a Venture Captain some day! Every single one of them i've met has been so nice! giggles Umm.. So... Yeah! i'd love to join you on this mission, even if it means going to talk to more followers of Razmir. You know, I just recently met someone who followed Razmir, but i don't think she was nice. But just because there's one bad follower of Razmir, doesn't mean that the others are bad right? it's just like with goblins! Sure, some goblins will raid your village and burn it down, but other goblins are actually really helpful!

As the gnome rambles on for quite a while, the others are already concerned about travelling with such an enthusiastic gnome.

I'm going to extend the deadline a little to give Crunch and Trig a chance to make sure their character profiles are updated.

Also, Oscre, you character sheet is 8 MB large, which is going to be difficult for me to access when I'm on my phone (which I often am for posting). If accepted, can you either relay the most important information into your profile, or perhaps post a flattened version of the Chronicle-less file, which would be more mobile-friendly?
