Yeah, we should unfortunately replace. Minimum one rogue. Two players would be great as always (clearly the buffer helped us last time, or we'd be worse off now).

XP wise, you are currently at 1764 XP, so likely to hit level 3 before too long.

Treasure wise, there are some coins and some rather nice scales in the sculptors privatre room, along with the alchemical supplies Elo found earlier. So far you've found (but not spent) as a group around 210 GPs worth of stuff. A fair chunk of it is in coins.

I *think* I got everything, this module is really loot lite in the first part, and still feels a little that way.

That said, I haven't put the loot from the bodies, just the stuff called out as "rewards".

I'm a little *too* focused on spellcasters as a player, so yes, very happy to compare notes :)

I like that your spellbook familiar has several options off the beaten path, such as Animate Rope, Deja Vu, and Pocket Library. Probably the important thing to compare notes on is prepared spells.

Since the barbarian is leaving, maybe the party could use a character more capable in melee combat than Booky the witch? I don't have a problem at all with keeping Booky for another game and making a PC for melee.

Bwessara grew up in the Kyonin Forest. When a call for defenders went out for Lastwall, she answered. Since the falling of that nation, she helped people flee into the southern regions like Molthune. After several months of that, she needed to replenish her soul by visiting some forests. She's been wandering the area since then.

She was a student of an elven arcana school. Due to her tendency to steal from her fellow students and the shops in the town, she was dismissed from the school. She wants to become a well known magus to prove that it was wrong to dismiss her.

She favors using a whip in combat. One, it gives her a longer reach to Spellstrike. Two, it is the preferred weapon of Calistria, her favorite deity to worship.

Bwessara's profile is made and slightly changed from the above. I switched Str and Con to be able to carry more bulk. The cantrip Shield was added and Puff of Poison was dropped. I also finalized the gear. (Probably forgot something ;-)

A quick recap:

After the death of Bort, a caravan merchanct and friend to some of you. The party as it was discovered that the culpret and murderer was Hallod, a local bully, who intimdated a local goblin into putting something in Bort's food.

Hallod hasn't and wont say much, but through his lair you discovered that he works for a mysterious V. There was also a map from his lair to a stump he used as a drop point for this person.

You also discovered much of the history of Plaguestone, and how it came to get that name. Of the woman blamed by the citizens and the daughter who fled.

At a loss where to go next, you decided to help Noala, a local ranger to find what was causing mutations in local animals, which led to the sculptor and his notes. He worked for a Lady Vilree who provided the chemicals and items necessary for the sculptors foul works.

Now you have another map that shows Hallo'ds stump. Along with a location called "Spite's Cradel".

Qrik is all about trying to prove the true superiority of Kobolds as the blood of dragons flows through them. He feels that people have given his race too little credit and he is looking for ways to show that Kobolds are a boon to the world. He would be coming to Etrand's Folly looking for something that would help with that.

What did the alchemical samples from the orc's layer contain?

- any recipes?
- material for specific alchemical items?
- or simply a gp-equivalent amount of raw materials for crafting?

Ok Elo, looking again, most of what the orcs are making is stuff you will know:


  • Lesser alchemist's fire
  • Lesser acid flask
  • Lesser bottled lightning
  • Lesser frost vial
  • Lesser tanglefoot bag
  • Minor elixir of life

In amongst the sculptors notes though you also find recipies for:
