Dr. Helix examines the dragonkin's wound. It looks okay, I can PATCH IT UP but it'll be COSTLY. Why don't you WALK IT OFF for now, and I'll FIX IT if it gets WORSE.
The kiirinta turns to Zahvos. They're DEFINITELY EGGS! We should DESTROY THEM ALL!
Helix will use the rest time to fly around and seek a way to exterminate this nest, as well as if there are any more signs of nearby Swarm.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26

Helix shouts the warning with only seconds to spare - the eggs are highly dangerous and can emit a cloud of acid to kill and break down living creatures to feed from.
That whole rear section is a hazard, and Zahvos was moments away from a highly corrosive acid bath.

Aside from that, there is only one last door to the loading bay left unchecked.

Escaping the potentially very painful experience, Zahvos wipes his brow and thanks the Kiirinta. "Phew. Much obliged, Helix."
He then goes to stand behind the dragonborn as he opens the door, taking out his pistol. "Go on, we're behind you."

The doors slowly open revealing a cargo bay - and more swarm!
This room is mostly intact from its time before the Swarm invasion.
The cement and metal walls are largely barren, but a thick metal sectional roll-up door stretches 20 feet across the eastern entrance to this room.
The west wall has a small office for security and management, with a single desk and chair inside and a window overlooking the loading dock. Internal cameras and monitoring systems have long since been removed when the warehouse closed.
Next to the office are three forklift robots in their charging docks used to assist with loading and unloading shipments. Of the three, only one looks operational—the other two are obviously damaged beyond immediate repair.
As you stand there eye to...eyes... with a massive creature and its friend, you hear the far roller door clatter open and three gun-totting Six Tip gang members stand there a touch confused by the sight in front of them - "Hey its those Starfinders, but what the **** are those?"
The gang members seem a bit torn on what to do - perhaps a well placed Diplomatic overture could sway them.

What's the hell is that again! No time to think. Time to kill.
Letting the more talkative of his friends speak with the gangers, Ombonth strikes twice at the creature.

Zahvos turns to the gangers, his pistol still pointed at the creature.
"Fine timing for an entry, there!" he positions himself next to door to shield himself from attacks while speaking. "Mind giving us a hand? I'll buy the next round!"
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 7 + (2) = 14 oof

"What the hell IS that‽" Astran rushes in, beginning the process of attuning himself. He relies on the large Ombonth's presence to provide a bit protection.
He tries a quick strike with his weapon: ATK: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 for DMG: 2d6 + 8 ⇒ (2, 5) + 8 = 15

![]() |

"There's plenty more where that came from!" Astran attunes himself every more, striking at center mass as he does so. Solar: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 for DMG: 2d6 + 8 ⇒ (1, 6) + 8 = 15 BOOM!

![]() |

Great job Astran! Says Ombonth after another perfect strike.
Turning to the gangers, he adds I think so.
Then, towards Dr. Helix. Do you know what was that?
Ok for wrap it up :)

![]() |

Astran, not normally one to pat himself on his own back exhibits a bit of pride, "That wasn't bad at all. Not sure why they were so worried. Let's look around, make sure we're good here, and let them know the job is done!"

Helix darts around and fires a biohack dart at the giant Swarm component. He ally jumps in on the kiirinta's comm unit to shout out to the gangsters. "Those are Swarm! Get back, they're highly dangerous!"
Attack vs. KAC: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
Damage (P): 1d4 ⇒ 4 plus basic inhibitor (–2 AC)
Diplomacy (ally): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Zahvos lowers his pistol with a surprised air to his face. "Done already? Great work Astran!"
He takes out a flask from his pocket and takes a swig before passing it around. "Here's to Swarm hunting! Let's just make sure everything's really dead before departing."

You finish checking the warehouse and find little of interest - so you get to work cordoning off the area and reporting it higher.
You return to the Master of Stars and find Fitch and Zigvigix waiting for you "Thank you for your efforts, we will be sending a cleanup crew to remove any remaining traces of the Swarm incursion on Absalom Station - especially in Fogtown."
Fitch pipes up "So, what are your thoughts on turning Zelrai into the authorities? Doing so could needlessly hamper the Society’s and other organizations’ ability to come and go from Absalom Station, and if we don't hand Zelrai over to station security, the ferran owes the Society an enormous favour".
"On the other hand", Zigvigix interjects "Zelrai’s greed threatened so many lives and cost several, and worries that letting her get away with shipping Swarm creatures could merely embolden her toward more further dangerous activities".

"I vote that we keep this internal. We've shown that we can handle a leak. I'd rather maintain society freedom. It's a risk, yes, but worth it for the reward."

![]() |

Zahvos thinks for a while before replying. "I agree with Astran. The Society doesn't need negative publicity right now, and doesn't need to be restricted in its freedom of action. Now more than ever."

![]() |

I'm more incline to turn Zelrai to the authorities. But Zahvos is right about negative publicity.
So, for now, I will agree with Altran and Zahvos to don't say anything and keep this secret.

NO WAY! That FERRAN should PAY for putting the WHOLE STATION at RISK! NO SWARM EVER!
Helix votes punish Zelrai. Thanks for running Shifty!
