@Valeros: are you rolling for Earn Income for your Downtime?
And you are applying the chronicle directly to a level 1, correct?

I didn't want an invisible hostile back on their feet. I was willing to heal him but only as long as everyone could see him.
Anri Darkspur |
Eh, we could have took him. Six to one after all. I just now realized I still have a scroll of Dispel, so I dropped the ball too...
GM Wayfinder |
To spoil a bit, it is of no direct impact to the success of the mission to bring him back alive or dead, or else I would have made sure you all could act for some rounds to save him vs. dying rolls etc. and let you succeed or not (you have not "failed" in any game-mechanic way).

For what it is worth I have See Invisibility up. I could have cast Stabilize, or I could have used Medicine, or cast a Heal scroll, or cast Dispel Magic. In the future, feel free to act for me if the need arises. I understand that if there is an opportunity for progression I'd rather you act for me than you wait just for me or pass me over if it is something my character can easily contribute. My character sheet is in my profile for a reason.
GM Wayfinder |
As I said, I would have looked into all of that if it were important for the Quest that he die or not die. As it changes nothing whether he is alive or not, I did not have to decide whether to give him some time to stabilize or not (which I would have if it were important for your goals).
Valeros decided to just clobber him to kill, and not to knock out, so the Gnome died from the blow.

Oh, it is fine. Not of significance. I was merely stating for the future.
Anri Darkspur |
Sorry to bother, I have a clarifying question: When Thulgrin declared his intent here, was that read as Intent or Action? Like, is "I am a decent tracker" different than "I attempt to track", in terms of feedback?
Trying to understand how to better communicate, is all...
Thulgrun Ironfist |
I meant, in character, in this case that if folks would rather have him track than defend, he would do it. But, he was stating that he could, if asked, rather than he was going to do it, in case someone else was a good tracker.
Sorry, I could have also been more clear about this.
GM Wayfinder |
What I understood seems to be what Thulgrun meant (that he "could"), but since there are no enemies left, and the adventure is basically over, I think I probably added that he also helped track - since I just moved things along for you to look around just outside, then further on (since there is nothing to see or find).

[ooc]Conclusion
With Zatqualmish either captured or eliminated and the documents recovered, the PCs now simply need to make it back to the lodge in time.
This gets you the polytool on the sheet, and your monetary reward.
Since you did not recover the documents undamaged (even if PFS spells do not damage non targeted items - gone are the days of losing all to fireball! - there is mention of their condition vs. explosions etc..
Thus they are singed but still functional.
But, not being in good condition (the documents, not you) you do not get the Numerian Archaeologist boon.
Since you killed Zatqualmish, box A is checked.
You carried out your Primary Objective which was to recover the original documents in any condition and return them to the Pathfinder lodge.
Thus you all earn 1 Fame & 1 Reputation.
I will get your Chronicle sheets out as soon as I get to my computer.
@Valeros: I believe I never got your Earn Income roll so I will let you add it yourself.
@all: can you please tell me if your PFS number is correct on your Chronicle Sheet? (making sure I did not switch digits of whatever) and I will then report as part of Outpost III.
So, This is the end, beautiful friend
This is the end, my only friend
The end of our elaborate plans
The end of ev'rything that stands
The end
Thank you for playing!
And have fun...

Sheets are here.
Seems Google has changed their format, I think I got them to editable by you... if not, sorry.
